Excellent quality fencing, easy to order and helpful customer service

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Brilliant delivery team who took care over the delivery and kept in touch on their eta. Clear communication throughout from all teams and to top it all the product is excellent! Highly recommend and would use again.

The trellises had the exact specified dimensions, we put them up on our balcony and we are very happy with them.
Why not 5 stars:
- the wood looked a bit weathered (almost a little mossy?) and one of the beams was splintered
- the deliverers did not help get them upstairs where we live, so I had to carry them up 5 flights of stairs by myself one by one. To be fair, this company are not alone in offering an imperfect delivery experience.

Excellent workmanship achieves perfect final result.
Very expensive but nobody does trellis work like this.
The initial quotation was incorrect and too high despite them having received a detailed scale drawing, for which I received an apology from the responsible person.
The survey and installation team were excellent.

Had two separate orders from Garden Trellis company . Both arrived on time, well packaged & in excellent condition. The trellis was top quality , far better than any I have seen in garden centres & B&Q. Looks fantastic now it’s installed. I would highly recommend this company .

Quality of trellises and delivery of order perfect

The trellis was exactly what I was looking for and I certainly did not see anything like it from other companies. The quality is first rate and worth the price. I was also pleased with the customer service as I did have a few questions and these were answered courteously and promptly.

We are very happy with our privacy trellis. It was delivered well packaged meaning that it was all in perfect condition. The painted finish is very good and there was even a tin of touch up paint included.

I'm generally not one for writing reviews but feel compelled to do so by the intransigence of the company on failing to recognise that the trellises they supplied were in a poor state and not fit for the purpose we intended (to form a partition boundary for a bespoke bistro sitting area).
The delivery lead time of around 10 days was acceptable but what wasn't acceptable was the dirty and mould infected state that they arrived in. I was shocked and embarrassed before I'd even got them fully out of the package and made a video there and then recording their poor state. I'm referring to a black spotted mould that appeared on all of the 6 panels I ordered and of the general dirty condition that they were in. When I reported the problem , along with the video illustrating clearly what was wrong , the representative simply said that the mould would disappear over time and that the dirt on the trellises could be cleaned off by hand. I could of course return them at my own expense but would not receive a refund on the original postage cost of £65. This is within the T&C's but given that I supplied strong evidence to their arrival condition I would've at least expected an apology and a good will offer of having the postage paid. I therefore decided to have a go at cleaning one of the trellises with soap and water and a stiff brush. It took me around 2 hours to clean just one of the 6'x4' 40mm diamond trellises. This removed all the dirt but not the mould. So all in all it took a day of cleaning to get them to the best they could be. As I reported to the company, the simple bottom line was that if I (or anyone else for that matter) had seen these trellises on sale in a local DIY store they wouldn't have considered buying them for one minute unless heavily discounted. I have since trawled the local stores to see the condition of their trellises and all were in a clean and mould free state. I feel embarrassed to have bought blind without seeing their product but given some of the good reviews I took a chance. Maybe I was just unlucky and got supplied with some old stock that had been lying around for sometime. But if you're feeling lucky and prepared to take a gamble on not having my experience then I would say go ahead , pay your money and take your chance. However, I personally would not recommend The Garden Trellis company to either friends or family.

I have bought on multiple occasions from GTC and every time both products and service including well packaged delivery has been first class. They helped me amend an order once in a very efficient way that helped me avoid additional delivery charges. A joy to shop with.
