Ordered on the 12/12, money taken from my account. No confirmation order email. No tracking number provided. No response to my emails. No phone number on website despite saying 24/7 customer service.It's now the 14/01 and no item. Very poor service and assume a dodgy scam. I will follow up with my bank and report to ACCC.

Worst Customer service. Its blatant cheating. Ordered the product on 30th October. Yet to receive the product on January 13th. Have written at least 10 emails, however no reply. Please do not buy this product. Its a scam.

DO NOT ORDER! Read reviews first and beware! I have been waiting since Dec. 6th for mine and GalaxyCove has been less than helpful in making that right. They do not ship UPS as they state on their website, it is in fact USPS. All I have gotten from them is "trust it will get there" and of course it has not. I now have not heard back from them in my request to finally just refund me as this is so late that of course have missed Christmas which these were gifts for, but I am also no longer even at the delivery address and never would have ordered it had I known it was going to be shipped USPS.
After reading more reviews it looks like if I had received it that I could expect a cheaply made knock off of what they show on the site.

Pretty average. Ordered some for my kids stockings and would have been better spending the money on something else.

Bunch of scammers I ordered this product three weeks ago as a Christmas present for my daughter and paid extra for "skip the line" priorty shipping well still no product. I reached out to them and was told that I just needed to wait even though I asked them to re-emburse me for their "skip the line" fee. Am just hoping the product itself is not as bad as their customer service. They claim to ship using UPS and other private couriers they do not they ship via regular snail mail. The reviews on their site are all fake!

I purchased it and it supposedly had delivered with tracking, but nothing to be found. I'm home all day and when a package arrives they always ring the bell, but nothing this time, so that was red flag 1. I reached out to customer service, they apologized but they couldn't insure every package. Okay, that doesn't sound right, because even small companies usually make some effort to replace the item, so red flag 2. But fine, I'll pay for it again. just please help me add signature required upon delivery this time - and they ask me to purchase through the website. I'm fully irritated at this point, because they're being completely unhelpful and the website doesn't even offer signature delivery, so it would need to be a special order. Plus, the sale price is gone so I'd have to pay even more! Red flag 3! So I look the company up and low and behold, all these reviews about how many people never received their package, and even when they did, the item was clearly a cheap scam.

Don't waste your money and time like I did!

My daughter loves it. Looks great and arrived before Christmas. It arrived on time. The music sense is amazing. It really makes the room look awesome. The one bad thing is the battery doesn't last all night.

Ordered two projectors on the 28th of November. Have not received the items in the promised 12 days. Looking like it will not arrive before Christmas, in fact looking like it will never arrive at all. Have sent numerous emails to follow up. Someone named "Gretchen" responds, but has recently stopped replying to my correspondence. The tracking site does not look legitimate, and there is no way to contact the delivery company (the links don't work and it never mentions the company name of the courier). Will update this feedback if the units arrive.

This company is a scam. I ordered in August. They keep telling me it has been shipped but that date keeps changing. No tracking number is ever supplied even though I've asked many times. I keep being palmed off. For such an expensive product I'm extremely disappointed and so is my 9yr old who has been patiently waiting for his lamp that is clearly never going to arrive because these people are scammers. Take your money and never deliver!

I have just reported them and am about to start the process of getting a refund. The company are in breach of Australian Consumer Law and if we can we should be attempting to hold them accountable for what is essentially stealing money for a product as far as I can see doesn't actually exist.

Don't bother. It is cheap and poorly made. Works nothing like in their adverts. Took almost 5 weeks to arrive. A disappointing rip off. Avoid

This is a scam, it is as simple as that. Shame on Facebook for allowing these types of scams to happen, Coco obviously lacks any kind of morality the way they facilitate this and give the impression of concern.

I never received my projector.

They directed me back to the tracking link which states that the item was delivered with "authority to leave" (which we never authorised). I have doubts about whether this is even a legitimate tracking link because the "view the proof" link goes nowhere and they cannot even provide a valid tracking number or even name the courier company involved.

Their tracking link does not seem legitimate so Gretchen Kolder emailed and advised us of a new local tracking number with "Australia Post" but Australia Post has no record of this tracking number.

Consequently asked to have this issue referred onto Gretchen Kolder's manager. A Chloe Smith replied and admitted that she does not know which company was responsible for the delivery writing "while we are not able to confirm the local courier that picks up your parcel, we can see that Australia Line (it could be referring to any of your local carriers) is the last mile delivery service". So basically the tracking number they tried to fob me off with is useless.

Both Gretchen and Chloe tried to suggest that it could have been a neighbour, it could have been theft or it could have been the delivery company. At no point did they themselves take responsibility for this issue or offer to liaise with the courier company.

Chloe then refused to provide a replacement or a refund stating that because they provide free delivery they cannot afford to pay for insurance. Unfortunately this is never made explicit to the customer at the time of order and I feel this is quite deceitful. I feel that most people would be happy to pay for delivery with insurance. I also feel that they would think twice if the omission of insurance was made explicit at the time of order.

If this were my company I'd simply provide a customer with a refund or replacement in this circumstance as the customer is at no fault. GalaxyCove will say that it is an issue with the delivery company but I feel that most people will agree that this is the reasonable thing for the company sending the product to do.

Personally, this is more about the principle rather that the refund as at the end of the day it's not a lot of money for me and I was just going to let them get away with it. However for others this may not be the case and I hope that they will read this review and make a bit more of an informed decision about whether or not to trust this company with their hard earned money.

Reading through other reviews and social media feeds I see that GalaxyCove is very quick to reply to bad reviews. I would respectfully ask GalaxyCove not to respond to this review publicly. If you would like to try to sort the issue out a second time then my order number is C38796. You have my details and can sort this out directly with me. I will of course come back here and provide a glowing update of how expeditiously you sorted this out. But please do spare me one of your banal public platitudes...this review is not for you, it is for your future unsuspecting victims.

I was planning on purchasing one until I noticed Coco cannot seem to find anyone's account. That's pretty scary. Thanks Coco!!!

Update: more back and forth emails from "Chloe" with a fake tracking number for a supposedly new projector which she said will have the galaxy cove logo on it. Yeah right. I bet someone is lasering it on.
But still refuses to refund me when I kept demanding it. She really wants to close this issue with trust pilot but I won't let it be closed because I want refund. I stated that I would accept a new projector and a 50 percent refund but she refused the refund part. Then emailed me this morning to state that she will continue to track my shipment and she would send me updates.

Oh, really??? I cant look for myself to see where it's coming from? So my response to her was to state that I dont want the projector anymore and for her to refund my entire $80. I lost more than that because I had to pay to send it back which they "lost" it.
Avoid this scam company. They're trying to cover their tracks. 4 months of this aggravation. Definitely breaking several laws by ripping people off with fraud advertising.

New update 24 hours later-
Chloe stated that since they already sent the replacement package out they couldn't intercept it and refund me. Then she sent me another fake tracking number. Why a different tracking number than the one she sent me 5 days ago? She had plenty of time to stop the replacement and issue me a full refund, but she waited 5 days to give me another tracking number? The thing is, those fake tracking numbers are linked through inside the emails so I decided to manual input the tracking numbers on FedEx website instead clicking on the link (security reasons, as that's how hackers gets you). Surprise, it says no tracking numbers exists.
Again, they continue to give you the runaround so they could have more time to rip more people off.
Dont be dumb like I was to fall for this BS scam.
Oh, also, if you already gave them your credit card numbers, better cancel your card and get a new one.

I received my piece of junk today. I paid $60 and the box nor does the unit state thats its a Galaxy Cove. The box is all white, not one word on it. Once I opened it I noticed it didn't come with a complete charger set on the cord. It feels so cheap to the touch! I will be reaching out to them. I knew I should have bought it from Amazon! Grrrr stay away!! If you want one go to Amazon at lease they seem to be selling the real one!!

I bought this from their US website - galaxycove.com. It's a nice enough projector, but it's not what they make it out to be. They claim it's their own 'state of the art technology" that's trademarked and everything, and the picture of the projector on their website has "GalaxyCoveTM" printed on its side. What you actually receive is a generic projector drop shipped from wholesalers in China with no branding whatsoever that you can instantly tell is much, much cheaper than the quality you were expecting for the price you paid (which is forever heavily 'discounted' from $160 which makes you think it must be of supreme quality and such a steal at $80!).

The projection itself is ok, but very cheap looking (especially the cartoonish moon and nightclub-esque green LED 'stars'). It has two colour modes - single colour that you can select from a choice of 4, and cycle-through. The touch-sensitive buttons on mine are very temperamental and don't work most of the time, so I'm stuck on cycle through - which jumps from one colour to the next every 3 seconds or so (you can't adjust this), which is very frenetic and there is no cross-fade, just instant changeover. Not the relaxing ambience you want.

I commented on a couple of their FB posts to try and give others a head's up before rushing into anything, but the comments were swiftly deleted and I was blocked so I could not post any further comments. Tried reporting to FB but no luck yet. Notice there is not a single lukewarm review on their website or negative comment on FB - should have been an instant red flag.
It's not a terrible projector, I just feel ripped off for being led to believe it was their own proprietary technology of a much higher quality. If you still want to buy one, I suggest getting it from the same place they do on AliExpress for US$15-20 instead.
Just go to AliExpress and search 'galaxy projector.' You'll see loads of them. Exact same ones - literally.

Update: it would have been cheaper for them to just refund me, as now the post office appears to have lost it. I reported that the tracker doesn’t recognise the tracking number so they said they’ll send another one.

Wow! I was just coming on here to complain that they wouldn’t allow me to cancel my order 6 or so hours after I placed it - I had no idea that so many others rated them as being so bad. Despite my husband losing his job and no longer being able to afford it, they say they don’t allow returns unless something is wrong. I tried to cancel within hours, but they shipped it anyway. Companies like this are why people shop on Amazon instead. Had I cancelled within a few hours, it would have been fine on Amazon. If it ever arrives, I hope my husband likes it or I’ll never hear the end of it.

WARNING: Total scam.
Paid and did not even receive the product. I paid 79 dollars and it is total fraud. STAY AWAY, DO NOT BUY.

TERRIBLE. The product is NOT as advertised and takes too long to arrive. I didn’t even receive one the has the capability of music sense, but the worst part is that the projected light show (IF you could call it that) is nothing short of appalling. The stars are LIME green, the colors switch so fast that it’s distracting, the moon image looks like a design created by a toddler, and the thing doesn’t even cover my VERY small apartment sized bedroom. The cost of this product compared to what is delivered is shameful and I can’t believe they continue to sell them! The people who stated that those providing positive feedback or reviews are being dishonest, are 100% correct. There is no way that someone paid what they’re asking, received what they offer, and are anywhere NEAR satisfied. RIP OFF.

I’d love to leave a picture of the absolute crap-show of what I purchased, but I don’t see that option available.

When I placed my order I selected the Apple Pay option as my payment option. At that point, the order finalized immediately, never providing an option to enter the shipping address. Their system pulled the information from my Apple Pay account which had not yet been changed since our recent move to another city. I IMMEDIATELY emailed GC to alert them of what happened and to provide the correct shipping address. I received a replay from 'Brian' the next day stating that the order had been updated. I then subsequently received additional tracking information from FedEX stating that it was still scheduled for delivery to our old address. I then contacted FedEx and they advised that as the recipient I am not allowed to change the delivery address. Only your shipper is allowed to change the address. I emailed GC five more times. Nothing was done to contact FedEx to correct the delivery address. I also found that it was not received by FedEx until several days AFTER I initially contact GC to change the shipping address. So, GC's response to me that the address could not be changed because it had already been sent to FedEx was a complete lie. According to the tracking information,it was delivered to the new owners of my former home. I have NO WAY to get in touch with these people. The house is 400 miles from our current residence. AT ANY TIME after the order was placed a simple note to FedEx could have supported a change to the delivery address. I purchased this product as a birthday gift (birthday was November 1) and the gift will never be received due to the very poor design of the GC ordering system. This is not acceptable!
GC has no customer SERVICE. A would stay away from this company!!
