Gabriella James Chairmakers Anmeldelser

Excellent service with a personal touch from Felicity who was unbelievably helpful in advice with choosing fabulous fabrics. I’ve owed my ‘James kitchen stools for 7 years and am now about to redecorate my kitchen, so thought a refresh might be in order. Although the stools were still in excellent condition I wanted to change the fabric. Felicity sent us lots of excellent samples to help us decide. Our stools were collected and returned by Felicity herself and we couldn’t believe how beautiful they looked, just like brand new again. We would highly recommend ‘James Stools’ for comfort and quality and Felicity for her excellent service and advice.

Exceptional! The best customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time. They really deliver on their ethos that their chairs are for life - offering complimentary recovering of the seat pad on my chair even after I’d had it for many years. Personal and helpful communications and they wouldn’t even accept my offer of paying the return postage! I’ve always loved the chair and it now has a new lease of life for many years to come. Would highly recommend not only the craftsmanship but also the care with which they run the business.

Gabriella James has made for us three amazing barstools using our choice of material and overall finish. The chairs arrived on time and delivered in person, the service has been exemplary and we would have no hesitation in recommending others to use Gabriella James.
Thank you for such a good experience working with you!

A delightful company to deal with. Personal and efficient service and very good quality stools. Highly recommended.

We love the stools... they are absolutely perfect and Felicity was amazing to work with as it was a slightly unusual request.

Felicity helped us design 3 Ella Bar stools for our new kitchen. We are delighted with them. The bespoke size and fabric design fits in extremely well with our new kitchen island. I would recommend Gabriella James to anyone who wants a special chair for their kitchen or dining experience. Thank you very much,

Felicity, from Gabriella James Chairmakers, was incredibly helpful. She understood the brief perfectly and added her own, welcomed suggestions. Great service, great chairs and a great source of ideas and inspiration. I would definitely use them again and I’d happily recommend them. The chairs are stunning!

Gabrielle James Chairmakers made two bar stools for my new kitchen. The product is amazing - height bespoke to fit my high breakfast bar; fabric that perfectly goes with my overall kitchen design and favoured style, wood picked to match our new wooden floor and the oak breakfast bar, sturdy, hard wearing and looking fantastic. Also extremely comfortable with good back support- which was important for me. The service provided by Gabrielle James Chairmakers is also outstanding. Felicity came to the house with samples, promptly send me a quote and then returned with finished products on time six weeks later. I would highly recommend the company for both product and service. All of the family love the stools and use them.

This British company is highly recommended for classic and stylish designs (I have the Ella chairs and Turner bar stools) that you can put your spin on with bespoke fabrics. I was impressed with the high end and personal service, right down to the aftercare kit (which came with a chocolate treat!), and I am delighted with the quality and the way my living space looks and feels. Thank you!

Very pleased with the purchase of two bespoke chairs for our kitchen island. The ordering process was flawless, Felicia was absolutely brilliant answering questions and guiding me through all possible options. The outcome is two gorgeous chairs that are comfortable and pleasure to look at. The chairs were delivered in person by Felicia’s lovely daughter along with care instructions, spare parts and paint. We have been renovating our house for over five years now and dealing with Gabriella James Chairmakers was an absolute pleasure. Thank you!

Although Gabriella James is not cheap this is because the fabrics, manufacturing, finishing, customisation, service, customer experience, communication, promptness of delivery and the personal delivery by Felicity is simply irresistibly excellent. The finished product is a fabulous addition and focal point to our new kitchen. I could not recommend this firm more highly

Nothing is too much trouble for this great British company in the pursuit of delivering a great quality product. My choice of fabric, trim and even the production of anti-macassar’s were all considered, and an unstinting wealth of advice offered to me, all designed to leave me with the chairs I had hoped for and needed. My thanks to you Feliciity and to your team for your care, consideration, and attention to detail. It’s a rare combination in today's world and is most definitely worth it.

My kitchen has been transformed by my four Luxury Ella Bar Stools. They look absolutely stunning, they are incredibly comfortable to sit on and I’m over the moon with them.
The whole process was so professional and stress free, thanks to Felicity and I would 100% recommend Gabriella James.

When we boldly changed the colour of our kitchen after 20 years, the barstools had to go. Endlessly searching the internet, I thought we would never sit down again - until I discovered Gabriella James Chairmaker. With charming help from Felicity, I became the proud owner of three bar stools which are the right size (HxWxD), the exact paint colour, upholstered in the fabric I wanted; the perfect finishing touch to our shiny new kitchen. Thank you Gabriella!

I have just completed a full renovation of a flat in Battersea, and I can safely say my experience with Felicity/Gabriella James has been the best part of the project. The four Ella bar stools are fantastic quality and impossibly chic. Our interaction with the company was so professional, and honestly our stools are the only item in the flat to arrive in time! Thank you!

I completely adore my bar stools made by Gabriella James. This is a wonderful family-owned business and the customer service and attention to detail is fantastic - a really personal experience, with beautiful furniture. My barstools are fully customised with my choice of fabric and pain colour.
Felicity even hand-delivered the bar stools herself just days before Christmas. I’ve worked with a number of furniture and interiors companies and cannot recommend Gabriella James enough.

We are delighted with our bespoke Ella bar stools - they are beautifully made and the whole process from
beginning to delivery (by Felicity) was seamless. Apart from looking fantastic they are also extremely comfortable. An excellent company.

I am thrilled with my Turner stools as are the rest of my family. The jewel-like button cushion is beautifully upholstered & the craftsmanship on the turned legs remind me of all the great British furniture makers I learnt about in furniture history at university. I love them.

From start to finish the service was exceptional – Felicity, the Founder and Director, was friendly, helpful with quick to answer any queries I had. Felicity even hand delivered the chair herself – all the way to Sheffield! The chair is beautifully made and upholstered. It’s very comfy and a pleasure to look at, and I’m sure it’ll be in the Simmons-Ellis family forever more. I would highly recommend purchasing from Gabriella James Chairmakers if you want quality and style. Worth every penny.

We are so pleased with our James Bar Stools! We chose our own fabric so they match our kitchen perfectly. They are so well made and best of all incredibly comfortable. We couldn't be happier!
