Fantastic customer experience. Easy to order and select more or less of prefered fruits or veggies. Huge variety of seasonal quality produce included. Kept informed of estimated delivery time on the day. Boxes can be flattened and left out for collection on next delivery day. Produce tastes amazing and is marketday fresh on delivery. Great value for money.

Really great selection of fruit and veg each fortnight, staples plus a few extras. We rarely top up at the supermarket, mainly just some extras carrots, or things like berries that don't come in the box. A couple of things that we haven't been able to use, but majority of produce is excellent, some of it exactly what we buy at our local woolies.
Excellent value, $47 for everything pictured.
Customer service is excellent, very prompt text service, able to facilitate all swap requests, cater to specific circumstances.
Great service rescuing supermarket rejects, boxes are recycled, ice packs are recycled, this really is a genuinely great salvage of food from waste.
Very easy ordering, able to add as many extras as we like from the optional pantry, meat and eggs options.
Really happy so far, we've been using Funky Food medium box fortnightly for a family of 3 since before Christmas 2025.

I ordered the fortnightly large box, small meat pack and two bottles of apple juice. All arrived on the day scheduled with plenty of SMS notifications and reminders beforehand and afterwards to ensure it wasn't missed. The quality and range of the fruit and vege is excellent - all what we will definitely use and enough for a fortnight for our family of 3. The extra beetroot I ordered as a swap has already been used to make beetroot relish (along with the apples and onions from the box). The discount for our first order made it very economical as well. We are pleased and if the volume and quality continues around the same price point, we will continue ordering regularly

Ease and quality.

I got my first delivery, the whole process was professional and easy to navigate. Correspondence was great. The food was amazing, I believe the quality is better than major Food Companies. I've recommended FF to my friends and made my second order which is larger than the first as initially I was unsure what the quality would be like. What a wonderful concept, keep up the good work. Thanks for helping the average family financially struggling and our hard working farmers!!

I loved our actual produce ...my husband and I both horrified that its not good enough for the supermarkets. I love tht we can return the box for recycling. Service communication and cost all excellent. Great initiative

I've subscribed to funky food for more than 3 months, and ngl it's made my life easier. Lots of variety, and I personally love being creative with vegetables when I cook. I'm a stir-fry kinda person, and every meal with funky food slaps.

Ordered our first box, reasonably easy. I liked that I could see the list of the box contents and I could easily substitute items online. The box duly arrived and I I was quite pleased with the quanity and quality.
Then the second box was due to be paid for - first I couldn't log on, then when I managed I could not find anywhere the list of products, just kept going round in circles to the rather over priced grocery add ons. Eventually I messaged to ask how I could find the list and make any changes, just to be told that I would have to message every time to ask for a list, then ask for a list of substitute items, then message to ask for any changes. Way to much hassle when it was so easy the first time - I really don't understand why that facility is only available on the first order. Now looking to find another company.
