Poor customer service with irresponsible attitude on bricking my printer
I had a Fujifilm instax share printer sp-2.
Last month, I clicked into Fujifilm's official app and noticed that a firmware update of version 1.21 was available. So, I clicked ‘update’ according to the instruction. However, after the update was completed, the printer was bricked with its LED lights blinking continuously, and it could not be connected to my phone anymore.
I was frustrated and took the printer to the repair centre. Then, I have paid HKD$100 (~ JPY 1740) for merely checking.
After checking on the issue, the technician replied 1) No other similar issues were reported on this fault, 2) I have to paid HKD$680 (~ JPY 11850) if I decide to fix it for the mainboard repair.
I found this reply irresponsible, and the arrangement was unreasonable and unfair to me, as a consumer and a loyal fan of FUJIFILM. It is clear that it is not a wear and tear issue and there is no user error incurred this event, where I simply clicked ‘firmware update’ according to your official instruction. In addition, the technician team failed to explain why the printer is bricking and only asked for repair cost. How am I going to trust this would not happen again and costing me additional cost again?
For your information, this is not a single incidence. If you search 'Instax share sp-2 printer firmware update issue', there are lots more reporting the same issue around the world.
As it is not wear-and-tear issue and no user error incurred, I would request Fujifilm for a free repairment on this issue with the checking fee refunded to me at the return of the printer. I sincerely hope that FUJIFILM could take this seriously, take the responsibility of fixing my printer, prevent this issue from happening again, and give a satisfactory reply. Thank you for reading this and I look forward from hearing from you soon.
I have an fujifilm XT-20
I have an fujifilm XT-20, is an good camera, video quality is excellent but the audio that is recorded by the body microphone of the camera isn’t so good. Audio isn’t clear at all and mostly i have do do a loot of editing to fix the audio. The audio level in the menu doesn’t change at all even i put in the minimum level, still record as it was at maximum level and this isn’t good. Also don’t have an option to see the microphone level in the screen. I hope you realise an new firmware to fix this issues, because is a good camera in general and i want to keep it, but if no i’m forced to changed! Thank you.
Poor service. Absolute disappointment
4 month ago I made a tiny scratch on my X-Pro3 on a wall, on the side of the camera, it never fellt, always maintained with extreme care, it was just a super soft scratch on a rough wall. After 3 month the camera started to have the (super common) shutter issue, while pressing the shutter the camera doesn’t shoot or shoot a bit late. It’s impossible that the two events are linked together.
I took the camera for repair and after 1 month they told me that the damage was done by me (IMPOSSIBLE) and that it is not covered by the warranty. 280€ to pay due to a manufacturing error.
After the amount of money given to this company and this treatment, I will share with everyone my disappointment to Fujifilm, that provide this kind of poor service. What a disappointment.
UPDATE: The camera is back, I didn’t paid anything because Fujifilm changed mind and decided that the issue was under the warranty service.
So good news BUT, the sensor is extremely dirty. So now I have to pay for a sensor cleaning.
Bahhhh.. 🤷🏻♂️
Terrible eyepoint of left EVF cameras
This is a review of the left EVFs. Only my old XE2 works with my eyes, which aren't particularly bad. It is the last left EVF camera to have a 23mm eyepoint. Quite a few others who wear glasses also find the sub 17mm eyepoints inadequate.
I loved the EVF on the amazing XT3, but it is central. I have tried all the latest cameras and all the left EVF ones have a small EVF with a 17mm or less eyepoint (sometimes known as eye relief).
Today I finally ended my wasted years of trying various Fuji cameras and moved to Sony. Even their basic 2014 A6000 is far superior to all left EVF's on Fujis, because it has a 23mm eyepoint, just like the XT3.
I wanted to give 1 point initially, but I love my XE2 and some of the newer film simulations. I hope someone sees this and fixes the issue, otherwise I will be upgrading my Sony and fully switching.

Repair damaged my camera
Sent my camera in for warranty repair and it came back damaged and without the strap lugs which are needed to attach the neck strap. They scratched it up a lot. Sent them pictures and waiting to see what they will do as a remedy.
Can't read what was repaired.
Gets bill for service never recieved
Leasing a rather expensive CR digital x-ray developer for a number of years. Exchanging this for a competeters direct x-ray, and recieve a bill for a service in septeber/octover, even though I changed companies in juli, and never recieved a service in september. Really bad service. There a many companies on the marked, most are better and with netter service than Fuji. Chose them.....
One year experience using Fujifilm X100V
While modern phones offer a lot of possibilities to take good or even excellent photos, really good photo cameras remain irreplacable. I have been using Fujifilm X100V, with only one lens 23mm I managed to take photos in many situations, the camera is compact, easy to handle and appealing because of its retro or classical look. I am waiting for Fuji to release X-T5 so that I could start using even better and more advanced camera.

Après avoir passé une commande d'un livre de voyage avec mise en page personnalisé, fessant des photos numériques en format raw donc HD, je peux dire que la qualité d'impression n'est pas au rendez-vous. Les couleurs sont fades voire carrément étranges. Certaines photos sont nettes et d'autre flou comme si l'encre avait pris l'humidité. A 60 € le livre avec des clauses de non remboursement en cas d'insatisfaction...Pas possible de faire de la bonne pub
Le seul bon point est la qualité du papier qui est très épais sans doute trop, et la finition "assemblage "du produit est correct, et le délai de livraison respecté mais c'est tout, cela ne rattrape pas la médiocrité des impressions.
De plus le service téléphonique de réclamation est injoignable, un grand classique sans doute !

Excellent service. I had a foreign passport application that had different photo requirements to an Irish passport. Declan very helpfully adjusted and persisted with the requirements until the issuing Authority was satisfied. He was able to help me by email and long after most people finish work at 5.30pm! I am very grateful for his help.

Repair service was great
Repair service was great! Called a real human and they were very helpful, told me to send in my camera and lens for free to see if it was my camera or lens that needed repairing. All packaging was sustainable too and turn around was fast.
It was a shame I was quoted for both my camera and lens to be fixed at £90 each as I got the camera sent back without repair and it works fine now the lens has been fixed so a bit of a con but as I didn’t fall for it I’m genuinely happy with the experience I received!
Poor repair service
I had to return my GFX32-64 zoom lens to Fujifilm UK for repair. Overall it was really poor as they charged me for the repair and it came back with the same fault it went in with. So I returned it to them again and (hopefully) they have repaired it but it came back to me in a DPD bag with a mid-sized cardboard box and the lens in it with no packing whatsoever - no bubble-wrap or foam or peanuts! I am flabbergasted that a supposedly world-class camera company would treat a customers's expensive lens so carelessly. The only good part of this Fuji experience is Albert who is very helpful and shepherded the repair through the second time.
Ils promettent mais ne respectent rien après
Il vous promette une livraison avant le 24 décembre 2020. Hors nous sommes à 7 jours après Noël et nous avons toujours rien reçu et la commande n'est même pas expédiée.
Ils font clairement de la publicité mensongère et ce n'est pas la première fois que ça m'arrive chez eux. Et ils savent très bien ce qu'ils font car ils m'ont déjà déjà envoyé -50% sur une prochaine commande
On fait quand même une commande à 150€ chez eux et il n'y aucun résultat de leur part

J’ai passé ma commande le 4 décembre. Le site m’indique une livraison, au plus tard le 11 décembre. Le 11 décembre je n’ai toujours rien reçu je contact donc le SAV. Après plus de 5 jours sans réponses, je décide d’essayer d’appeler le service SAV. Sans surprise, impossible de les joindre…
Puis le 17 décembre, j’ai enfin une réponse qui m’indique que ma commande va être traité dans les meilleurs délais et il rajoute qu’ils ne sont « malheureusement pas en mesure d’annuler une commande »…
Je reste donc patient et me dit que mon colis ne devrait pas tarder à arriver. Le 21 décembre, toujours aucune nouvelle de ma commande, je les contacte car ma commande est toujours « en cours de production »… Le SAV me répond et m’assure que les commandes passées avant le 16 décembre seront livrées au plus tard le 24 décembre. Nous sommes le 24 décembre et le suivi de mon colis indique « une livraison le 26 décembre »… 22 JOURS POUR RECEVOIR UN COLIS !
Le SITE ET LE SAV ont fait de la publicité trompeuse en indiquant des délais de livraison non respectés.
Pour couronner le tout, aucune excuse, ni geste commercial n’a été fait de la part de FUJIFILM ! Je regrette vraiment mon achat et j’espère avoir un retour de leur part (oui je crois encore au Père Noel).

I have been seriously impressed with Fujifilm. I'm a lifelong Nikon user, buying my first SLR (a Nikon EM) almost forty years ago. I've been thinking of getting a 'prosumer' mirrorless camera and looked seriously at the Z50, but it has a few too many quirks and inconsistencies. So, I opted for a (refurbished) Fuji X-T20 direct from shop.fujifilm.co.uk. I can only say ... "wow". A great camera, a wonderful lens (the 'cheap' XC 15-45mm) and truly FANTASTIC service from Fujifilm. Nikon didn't even respond to my questions to their customer service, Fujifilm responded to a question in a couple of hours. After placing my order, the camera was with me in just two business days! I am VERY impressed!

Bought the XT4 to have a slight smaller, easier to handle camera ( and for travels that did not happen ... ).
Phenomenal. Superb quality. I mainly use the 16-55 f2.8. Brought the joy back to photography and as good as the bigger and weightier pro Nikons I have (850). The APC sensor seems to resolve as well as any full FX I have used or seen.
