Don't expect your request to have a shipping address changed for tickets costing thousands . My Xwife now has my festival passes.

Rock the Country-Ocala, FL

3. Had to pick up wristbands and parking pass from will call (what a joy).
4. New wristbands not linked to bank account for easy payment.
5. VIP section inundated with non VIP ticket holders.
6. This company assumes no responsibility whatsoever.
I WISH I HAD READ THE COMPANY REVIEWS BEFORE USING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!
$100 USD service fee
$100 USD service fee, seriously??
Ticket price went from $400USD initially to $500USD at checkout.
Totally exorbitant. No thank you!
Never shipped my tickets
Never shipped my tickets, wouldn't refund shipping charges, told me now it's a "will call" charge. Service rep, "Alijune Nicole J." was not apologetic at all, and seemed to have a weird attitude. Paid over $400 for a VIP ticket to BeachLife festival to avoid lines--now, due to their incompetence, have to go to will call. Petty company, willing to lose a customer over $11. WHACK.
I'll just add to the load of negative…
I'll just add to the load of negative reviews, even though I'm not sure what if anything can be done about the practices of this shady company.
First, know that Front Gate are owned by Ticketmaster. I learned this when I finally got someone to call me back. I unfortunately missed the call, and the caller from Front Gate left a voice message (with no call back number). Still, I dialed back the missed call number and it went right to Ticketmaster. The rep I spoke with confirmed that Ticketmaster owns Front Gate.
My story is similar to the many other posters on this site. I got in line to purchase tickets for Ocean's Calling before 10 am. Right at 10 am, I got in and actually had secured four tickets for my cart. The price of the tickets was $299/ticket. As I was checking out, the Front Gate system crashed - it wouldn't let me proceed to the screen to enter my billing address, instead just giving me the dreaded spinning cursor. After 8 minutes, my session ended and I was forced to start the process all over again. This time, though, the same GA tickets were being charged at $319/ticket.
I will acknowledge that the marketing emails indicated that there would be a limited number of $299 tickets. And once those sold out, the prices would increase to $319. This is what Front Gate kept saying when I complained to them about having to pay the higher price. I don't dispute that the pricing policy was clear. What's not fair, in my opinion, is that I ended up having to pay the higher price because the Front Gate systems crashed. If those systems had worked correctly, I would have paid $299/ticket, and not the higher price I was ultimately charged.
I sent seven separate messages to Front Gate and the Ocean's Calling organizers asking for a credit for the $20/ticket and got nothing but spammy/bot-generated responses. I finally escalated to a manager (one step higher than a supervisor), who did call me but at a super inconvenient time (and her message basically repeating the same "policy" that I got from the spam-bots).
I wish I read the reviews before I…
I wish I read the reviews before I bought the tickets from the from gate website, oh well,One more negative review won’t do much to them because they don’t care about anything other than scamming money out of anyone’s pocket. There is 0 customer service
and none sympathy from this company and the staffs.
My husband got tickets for the sick new world in Vegas this April for him and our teenager daughter. We have been saving for months because they are expensive and we want to make a good experience for our daughter. The price is almost 590 per ticket. When we we’re trying to get tickets on the front gate website, it errored out and said our payment got declined. So we went ahead and got two more tickets.
But later on we found out the first try went through even it said declined on their website. We contacted the customer service right away ,their response was all sales are final and basically we are screwed. We tried to resell them on their website even with much cheap price,But seems like all they care was selling their own and they want to charge more fees for us to do that.So there is no way that we can sell them on time and make any of our money back.
It was supposed to be a fun experience father daughter trip,We are not rich people that can just throw 1200 dollars away. This company just ruined everything and brought too much stress , anger and frustration to us for their own fault and not willing to be responsible for it.I am thinking to take legal action against them, even it will cost way more than 1200 dollars,They need to know as a business owner, the most important quality is to be honest,Otherwise you won’t last long!!!
I am Weary of this Company
I'm giving them 2 stars because I believe that someone in their midst wiped my bank account out. I cannot prove it, but they are the only entity that I provided my debit card to that I do not normally do business with. I called them today because I couldn't change my payment method on their website...that is when it dawned on me that maybe they were the culprit to the compromise of my debit card. I asked the Agent that I spoke with what City and State they were located in and she said the United States..LOL. After checking with her "manager" she stated she could not provide me a specific place of origin. I pray I'm wrong about them.
Ticket sales on 3/7/24 for SEA HEAR NOW…
Ticket sales on 3/7/24 for SEA HEAR NOW FESTIVAL were mismanaged by FGT. I signed up for presale code and was in the queue before 10 am and was stuck on the standby page for over an hour, while it continued to refresh. At no time, did a message come up 'sold out'. I checked shortly after 10 for tickets on the secondary market and there were tons selling at astronomical prices. So evidently the scalpers were being offered as priority. Several friends were also not successful, also see a flurry of similar sentiments on face book. They are owned by TICKETMASTER which has been known to have unfair business practices.
Don't even bother contacting support
Don't even bother contacting support if you have an issue. Also expect $250-$300 USD "service fees" on top of the normal ticket price.
Also just because you have a ticket added to cart, doesn't mean that you can move on to your payment information and check it out. Watched the 10 minute timer count down and the cart expired before the payment information section loaded.
Support's response was not helpful, just suggesting basic troubleshooting information like clearing your cookies and trying a different browser. I did do this but it does not fix the fact that I missed the opportunity with a time sensitive purchase.
Front Gate supposedly had a 'lay away'…
Front Gate supposedly had a 'lay away' plan for When We Were Young in Vegas Oct 2024 so I gave my granddaughter my Credit Card # and they billed me for the entire $458+ dollars. You can't get through to them at all. Their phone number on the charge is disconnected. They don't respond to email or their own chat. SCAM!!!
Do You Like Getting Swindled?
I purchased tickets for the Honeyland Food and Music Festival held in Sugar Land, Texas, on the weekend of November 11th and 12th in July of 2023. Front Gate Tickets (FGT) originally billed this as a food and music festival, and over a period of 3 months, the festival switched from food and music to a music festival with samplings of food.
FGT began to switch out what was included in the tickets we purchased. A $50 food credit was omitted in one email we were sent even though it was initially included in my VIP ticket price. Additionally, we were given the option at time of purchase to have tickets shipped to us for $11. FGT refunded the shipping fees without indicating that we would now have to pick up our tickets at will-call locations. It wasn't until I sent an email asking what the refund was for and how tickets would be received that they informed me of the change. FGT decided not to ship tickets, forcing people to pick them up at a will call in Houston, Texas. Because we live in San Antonio, we decided to drive to a specific location, mainly the Chifley Hotel in Houston, Texas, to pick up our tickets. This decision felt inevitable to avoid long lines at the event itself, which we witnessed once we arrived at the festival.
FGT failed to post the schedule of events, including food presentations, music performances, and parking instructions, until 3 days before the event. On the day of the event, in the very early morning hours, around 12:30 or 1:00 in the morning of November 11th, FGT posted a social media post on Instagram stating that VIP parking was no longer available and that people who purchased VIP parking through their VIP passes would have to park in a parking lot and take a shuttle to the event. FGT never sent an email about the parking situation. As a result, there were massive crowds of people attempting to park and catch shuttles to the event, or they were left with the option as we were to walk back to our vehicles to leave the event.
Once we arrived at the event, the promised VIP entrance and VIP Fast Lanes were closed off. These entrances were included in the VIP package that I purchased, and because they were closed off, we had to wait in a GA or general admission line even though we paid to have the upgraded faster access through the VIP entrances.
Once inside the festival, we attempted to access a General Admission Plus area included in our VIP package. When I attempted to scan my wristband to enter this area, an employee of front gate tickets physically restrained me from doing so. When I showed her that my ticket included GA Plus lounge access, she said FGT told her to deny access to anyone but GA+ pass holders. Attempts by other people to show them that we were allowed to enter based on the fact that we were VIP pass holders were ignored or shut down by this employee. I took a video of the employee telling me we would not be allowed access to this area and that FGT decided to prevent access to VIP pass holders.
When we attempted to use our merchandise credit for $25, the staff member at the booth told us that to use the card, we had to spend at least $50. This "rule" was a bait and switch on the part of FGT because none of the disclaimers or terms of service indicated that to use the merchandise credit, we would have to spend a minimum amount.
My sole purpose for purchasing the tickets was because I am a food writer and chef, and my main interest was attending the festival's food portion. Besides the switch from "Food and Music Festival" to a music festival, no food samples were available, as with most food festivals. All the food had to be purchased, and the wait time to get food from these vendors exceeded one and a half hours. Besides the fact that there were extremely long lines, there was not enough food for the attendees, so despite waiting in long lines for hours, we were turned away twice because the vendor did not have any more food available. As a result, we went to a food festival expecting to be able to sample different types of food and didn't eat anything at all.
Additionally, there was a severe lack of lighting on the festival grounds, which resulted in people not being able to see where they were going while walking on a muddy field. The bathrooms were not lit due to a lack of lighting on the festival grounds, rendering them useless.
The wait for shuttles back to the parking lot where we were forced to park exceeded 2 hours. I have a video of a virtually empty parking lot within yards of the main entrance where we entered the festival. This parking lot could have been used for a VIP parking lot. I later discovered that the VIP parking lot was a cement parking lot, so the weather did not affect it, which is the reason for the closure, according to FGT.
This company is shady and a total money grab. I don’t recommend them.
Front Gate Tickets ripped me off
Front Gate Tickets ripped me off. Their customer service is set up for you to fail. Yes, With the number of transactions they process of course many will be successful, however if you are the customer with problem do not expect a fair shake.
DO NOT hire or purchase tickets from this company
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. DO NOT purchase tickets through them. I was given specific instructions by them to exchange my tickets only to get to the event to be told I could not exchange. Now they won't refund. $250 lost. DO NOT hire or DO NOT purchase from them
Useless Support
So my friend couldn’t make it to the beyond pnw so they gave us their camping and festival tickets. The problem is front gate tickets messed it up, sending it to the wrong address so now we have to go to will call. It’s our first time going to beyond pnw so we really dont know what to expect or where to go. We contacted their support and asked where to go to pick up the camping pass cuz we dont want to be in line and have to turnaround to go somewhere else to get the camping pass. Support person Krishelle D. only said “We cannot assist a third party. We can only assist the original purchaser.”. I was like, are you serious? I’m only asking for directions, not asking u to give me the tickets. Besides, I have the info they requested from my friend to show when I get there. So I responded and asked where I should go, I’m only asking for directions. No response. Support is trash, they sent it to the wrong address so the entire service is trash. Hope insomniac finds another service for their tickets.
They send you out several emails saying…
They send you out several emails saying your tickets will be sent out soon. Then you finally get tracking information and all that it shows is that a tracking number has been generated. So after paying for your tickets 8 months in advance and two weeks before the show you still don't have your tickets. They say if you don't get them 48 hours before the show to email them and you can pick him up at the box office. There is no way if you email them within 48 hours they will even respond to your email I have tried to do that and they have not answered my email and it's been a week. And you pay 18.00$ for tickets and a parking pass to be shipped and they will not give you that money back. Do yourself a favor and never deal with this company
Front Gate Tickets and Brandon: Stress-Free Resolution for Stolen Wristbands!
I was in a total panic when my wristbands for an out-of-state event got stolen. It seemed like I might miss out on the entire experience, until I reached out to Front Gate Tickets and got in touch with the amazing Brandon. I can't express how thrilled I am with this company!
Front Gate Tickets immediately understood my situation and assured me they would do whatever it takes to help. Brandon, in particular, was an absolute superstar. He was friendly, understanding, and offered multiple solutions to make sure I could still attend the event.
What blew me away was when Front Gate Tickets decided to send me replacement wristbands by mail. It was an unexpected and incredibly generous gesture. I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond to make sure I don't miss out on the event.
Dealing with Front Gate Tickets and Brandon has been a breeze. Their professionalism and efficiency are top-notch. They took a stressful situation and turned it into a worry-free experience. I highly recommend Front Gate Tickets to anyone in need of reliable ticketing services.
Kudos to Front Gate Tickets and a big shout-out to Brandon for their outstanding customer service. They deserve all the praise for their dedication to making customers happy.
Horrible Experience
I had an absolutely awful experience attempting to purchase tickets through Front Gate and the Farewell Festival websites. I took the time going through the necessary steps to gain access to presale tickets as well as prioritizing and blocking out time from my work day to be able to purchase these tickets at the time and date that was posted on their website. In less than 30 minutes my card had been charged 3 separate times, totalling $2,505, with each charge being significantly higher than the one prior. After speaking with a representative, who was unable to resolve any of these issues, I found out that I was unable to log back into the account that I had made these purchases on. I attemped changing my password along with other measures to recover my account which ended up being futile and forced me to recreate another account under a different email all while the ticket prices and fees were continuing to increase. Listed under the website's contact tab was an email address that I sent a message to only to receive an automated response that conveniently stated that the inbox was "no longer being monitored" along with a link to submit a request for support. All of my useless efforts paired with the amount of time that I had already wasted had me feeling very frustrated. On top of it all, I knew that I was going to have to spend even more time filling out another ticket/form for support and dispute these unnecessary charges with my bank. Both, the website and payment processing interface were very poorly designed and their severely lacking support team that I experienced made me never want to do business with Front Gate Tickets again.
Incomplete refund I sent them all the proof no one will call back
These people are professional con artists. I never received my full refund. But believe me, I will not stop until justice is served. You really believe you can take money from people like that? It's only $278.22 you're attempting to take from me, but what if you're doing this to 20 people per day? I'll file a complaint even if it costs $250. Please refund my money as soon as possible, as I have been requesting it since January 13th. Every time I spoke with your customer service department, they made excuses. I am giving you the chance to do the right thing. Just reading the reviews I can see a lot of people have the same issue. I will gather every single person here and open a mass lawsuit because you guys are in a violation of the contract. I have all the proof I need, conversations. emails, invoice, payment confirmation, refund amount email confirmation, PayPal payments, bank statements you name it.
Terrible!!
Terrible!!! Would never attend anything else that has anything to do with these morons!! I attended lovers and friends in Vegas and it was a disaster, and the company won't refund any part of the ticket..... WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED ever!!!!!
DISGUSTING!!
DISGUSTING!!! I ORDERED TICKETS TO BOOTS AND HEARTS BURL'S CREEK ONTARIO FOR AUGUST 4TH TO 7TH. THEY HAD ABOUT 30 ARTISTS COMING, OR SO THEY SAID? ONE OF THE ONES MY GF AND I WANTED TO SEE WAS SAM HUNT? IT'S NEXT WEEK AND WE'RE TOLD ABOUT 4-6 ARTISTS AREN'T GOING TO BE THERE, INCLUDING SAM HUNT? i ASKED FOR OUR MONEY BACK AND THEY WROTE BACK LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO ME AND NO MATTER RAIN OR SHINE, OR CANCELLATIONS! WE DON'T GIVE ANY MONEY BACK??? fraudulent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These people are theives
These people are theives. They have you prepay for concert tickets then partially refund you after the event is cancelled, with no recourse to get your money. They turned off comments and reviews on their social media to avoid public criticism. They never respond to their customer service emails and the proof is in their Facebook page posts. Buyer beware!!!
