They claim being a traditional publisher but they are Indian Scammers! they took my money and couldn't even edit my manuscript. I took my money back and went with bookbaby instead.

Working with Franklin Publishers on my first book was a truly positive experience. They supported me through every step of the publishing process with professionalism, care, and consistency. Noah was especially helpful throughout, always attentive, patient, and generous with his guidance. I’m very grateful for the support I received and proud of the finished result.

Wow - This company is a SCAM! I'm so glad that I figured it out beforehand, as I just came out of another scam. When I started questioning the "Manager" (who went by two differnt first names at different times), he got very nasty.

I deeply regret my decision to sign on with Franklin Publishers a year ago to publish my first book. I was tossed around to FOUR different project managers over the year. No one took the time to invest in me as an author. Franklin screwed up my book's launch date and that's just the beginning of problems I encountered. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend.

"We wish to inform you that, due to unforeseen natural disasters and other external factors, we are unable to fulfill the shipment of the 15 copies of your book as originally planned."
It has been one month since they notified me, and I have not received the $248 reimbursement they promised me (below), and there is no good reason I should have to wait longer than a month for a credit back to AMEX.

While my experience with Franklin Publishers began a bit rocky—feeling rushed by the sales team into making a commitment—I’m now deeply grateful I stayed the course. With the steadfast support of my literary agent, Robert Riddle, my dream of publishing a sci-fi novel has become a reality.
Robert has truly stepped up, offering the kind of consistent guidance and encouragement that made all the difference. We’re continuing to refine our workflow as we collaborate on future projects, including an upcoming children’s book series.
To be honest, it is a huge learning curve. For any first-time authors out there: it can be disorienting to work with a team you’ve only met via email and calls. In today’s world, trusting customer service is no small ask—but I’m glad I chose to stick with Franklin. My one wish is that their onboarding process could be more thorough and that communication details were a bit tighter. Things can sometimes get lost in the shuffle—but I’ve come to realize that’s part of the creative (and very human) process.
Big thanks also to Erik, David, and the editor Richard, who helped navigate some rough patches. Every publishing journey has its plot twists—and in KINDSIGHT, I know mine was worth it.
I recommend Franklin Publishers especially if you're working on progressive or cutting-edge material that deserves to be shared. Be patient, stay engaged, and let Franklin help you tell your story. Just don’t expect it to be hiccup-free—what good story ever is?

ONWARD.

I made the mistake of requesting info just to see what it might be about and then I had the audacity to get busy with my real job instead of answering. In the span of an hour this morning, I received 4 texts, a call, and a voicemail and when I responded to the text to politely ask them to remove me from their list after saying the above was a bit much, I got a sarcastic response of “you forgot to mention the email”. I told them thank you for that unprofessional response and again to please remove me. I got yet another snarky response saying “I did the first time when you messaged me. You messaging me afterwards opens up a new inquiry. But, you should read that email.” When I told him again that this was unprofessional and poor business practice, he responded with “You just opened another inquiry. Sounds like your having a bad day, maybe today isnt the day to publsh your book? Take some time out. Revisit the idea later.” To which I finally blocked it entirely.

Like… how unprofessional can this person be? Erik is a poor representative for Franklin Publishing and I would not recommend utilizing any publishing service that employs tactics like this.

The marketing provided with me so far has been incredible. Franklin Publishers have created attention grabbing ads to promote KILINDA SuperShero. My book is now in hardcover as well as paperback and is not only available online at Barnes and Nobles but also bookstores in the UK and Germany.

As a previously published writer and author I was looking for a new professional and knowledgeable publisher/editor to take my work to another level by skillfully helping me improve an existing work which was out of print. First of all we have an amazing Project manager! Robert Riddle, he is very competent, and very responsive, he is such a great help, as a matter of fact, our book just got published today Oct-28th and the book is called “What if puzzle book” on Amazon.
The team made a fantastic book video trailer that we have gotten a lot of positive reviews on.
The entire process of editing and getting the book ready for publishing was very encouraging. The team never got tired of our constant reviews! They were patient and everything worked out great.

I appreciate the more than customary service some businesses will give. I just got out of a book contract that was a not so good experience. Additionally, I'm not astute with social media at all. Lizzy has been phenomenal with both helping to develope not only marketing of my first book but she has been extremely patient with me. I'm learning how social media works and how my work will be linked together giving a seamless flow to each platform. Erik likewise has been nothing short of amazing with making this unlikely dream of mine come true.
