I had a very disappointing experience with Fragrant World.

I placed an order for several perfumes, but the parcel I received did not match my order. Only one of the items was correct, while the rest were completely wrong.

I contacted customer service and explained the situation, but I have not received a proper solution. Mistakes can happen, but when a company sends the wrong products, it should take responsibility and resolve the issue quickly and professionally.

Unfortunately, this was not my experience. The lack of proper support after the mistake made the situation even worse.

I cannot recommend this store. Trust is essential when buying fragrances online, and this experience has completely broken that trust for me.

I placed my order two weeks ago and still haven’t received it. The CTT tracking page says they have received the shipping information but are still waiting for the parcel to arrive at their facilities.

I've ordered from FragrantWorld multiple times the past 2-3 years, and I have always had a super positive experience. The samples come packaged very nicely and all their sample sprayers work great.
They have a great selection of fragrances to try and I like that they offer 1ml sample sizes which is not something everyone does.
Great customer service, always quick to respond to emails with any questions, and overall I only have positive things to say.
Highly recommended.

I’ve placed many orders on their website, totaling several hundred euros, and I’ve always had a good experience. The quality was good, the orders were well-packaged, and the perfumes were wrapped in plastic so they wouldn’t open during shipping.

In my last order, I received:
- 1 perfume that didn’t match the bottle shown in the photo. The perfume had been reformulated, and the website still showed a photo of the old bottle, so I expected to receive the fragrance I saw in the photo, not the reformulated version.
- 1 perfume with a broken atomizer that opened and spilled the fragrance.

Order fulfillment times have also increased compared to a while back.

I used to be a regular customer, it’s a shame.
As of now, I no longer feel comfortable recommending them.

Edit 1: I was contacted by Michel, who sent me a photo of the perfume that doesn’t match the one on the website (which confirms that they are two different editions), while regarding the issue with the atomizer, he replied with the same copy-and-paste description that you posted here.
As for past experiences in general, everything went well. The samples are more expensive than elsewhere, but I haven’t had any issues with the quality, so I chose not to leave reviews.
I asked for a refund for the two problematic perfumes, I was NOT reimbursed for the costs nor offered a return, but I was given a 20% coupon for a future purchase.

Edit 2: I am willing to return the two defective products (the full Fierce because it was the wrong item and the empty Sauvage sample because the atomizer is broken and fragrance leaked), but as indicated by you at your expense, and I would then like to receive a refund for both.
I’m fairly familiar with Fierce: the photo on your website is of the first version (which I expected to receive), the one sent by email is of the second version (already featuring the reformulated fragrance), and finally, a third version is now being sold with only the label on the bottle (again featuring the reformulated fragrance, identical to the second version).
If a customer sees a product on a website, they expect to receive that product, it’s basic consumer protection, and this could even lead to a formal complaint.

I’m not questioning the quality of the other fragrances, and I understand that it’s difficult to ensure a consistent scent experience, given that fragrance is subjective, however, my case has been handled very poorly so far.

Edit 3: they refunded the 2 fragrances with issues.

Either selling FAKE or expired and off fragrance. Smells thin and salty -- NOT what I paid for!! Wrote 3 times requesting a refund. Representative Michel sent a photo of 5 year old bottle from 2021. This is 2026!!! Should be illegal. AVOID.

I compared the sample received side-by-side with authentic BR540 from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SCENT AND TEXTURE.

Emailed explaining the problem and requested partial refund of 15,99 euro only for the BR 540, that I would still be willing to pay the 35 euros for the other scents and international shipping. (Even though the BR540 was the whole reason I placed the order and never would have paid international shipping and 35 euros for 5mls of the other scents.) I also sent video of the comparison side-by-side with the authentic perfume I had.

The Fragrant World Shop rep (Michel) wrote back saying I might be anosmic or unable to smell the perfume, etc. I wrote back 2 more times that I compared side-by-side and I was not anosmic or complaining about performance. I can smell the scent just fine. He sent a photo of their bottle, which had a production date of 2021 (writing this in 2026). Maybe it was an "authentic bottle" but simply far expired.

I bought these perfume samples as a splurge for my birthday. Instead of an enjoyable experience it was horrible and stressful. WASTE OF MONEY. I googled Fragrant World and BR540 and found another post on Fragrantica where another person had the exact same experience -- some samples received from Fragrant World were authentic, but the BR540 was NOT! They also did a side-by-side comparison with authentic product.

TL, DR: This shop sells some authentic products, but the BR 540 received was either FAKE or OFF (5 years old sold as "new"?). Why spend your money with a company that has stolen from others?

I am not a perfume novice. I have experience with BR 540 and many "clones". Why would I waste my time replying and writing long emails to get a partial refund of 15,99 euro while still being willing to pay the other 35?? Of course I have no reason to lie.

Oh-- processing also took 7 business days (9 days including weekend) before it shipped, despite the "2 to 3" it said it usually takes on their website. Regret buying from here.

Just received my first order from Fragrant World and I am very happy! I particularly like how the samples are labelled, with all details included and a very pretty label. I'm very impressed by the 10ml travel sprays- they are sturdy and spray well. I can't comment on the samples I have never tried before, but one of my purchases was a fragrance I know and it smells identical, there was no diluting etc happening, it's the real deal. Shipping took longer than I expected but it was worth the wait- they have a perfume in stock that most places no longer have 🤫 will be repurchasing! I love to support a European business.

Excellent quality and nice packaging. I bought LV imagination, Pegasus exclusive, Jazz club edt, and nishane ani.

They ignore emails and only seem to respond on Facebook. More samples would be nice, but quality is what really counts. There's a weird glitch in the cart, so be sure to double-check everything before checkout. Also, tracking shipping is a hassle — even after downloading the app they insist is the only way to see it, still doesnt work. For the record, I’m an existing customer."

Conozco muy bien Imagination LV y pedí un decant de 5 ml porque me queda muy poco del mio y no lo queria gastar y el huele muy diferente a mi botella de Imagination (batch 2024), carece de ese citrico dulce ya que el decant que compre aqui huele muy acido amargo citrico y casi sintético muy parecido a los dupes Marwa o Aqua Dubai ademas de que solo dura 3 o 4 horas mientras que mi botella dura 8 horas. No estoy seguro si Imagination fue reformulado o simplemente me dieron un decant de un dupe de Imagination para abaratar sus costos o en realidad es original. Creo que tendré que ir a una tienda LV para oler un batch reciente y comparar. Por esta incertidumbre dejo 3 estrellas. Sigo probando los otros decants que compre para dar una opinion justa de ellos. próximamente actualizare mi reseña.

Everything has the highest quality, very good delivery time, well protected packaging, cool presentation and of course the fragrance samples were exceptional. Looking forward to buying more in the future.

I know this perfume since it came out the first time! I also know about the changes, but they weren't as big as all the new versions they put out. Which I guess you gave me one of... I know them also.

Remarkable Support Team. The package was perfectly sealed. Fortunate that this Sampling Store is one of the few located in EU.

I recently bought several perfume samples with delivery to Lithuania. They arrived well packed. The perfumes were in small, high-quality bottles: 1 ml samples in plastic and 2 ml samples in glass.
The perfumes are amazing. This is my second time buying here, and I am very satisfied with the quality, the assortment, and the quick delivery. The perfumes are original, which is the most important thing.

Para não me alongar muito: produtos e costumer service/comunicação medíocres. Os frascos vêm abertos e temos de comer e calar. Para além disso a comunicação é um gozo. Serve apenas para encomendar samples que não encontramos em mais lado nenhum e mesmo assim se puderem aguardar stock doutra loja, melhor. E não venham aqui responder muito senão exponho os emails todos. A ver se ouvem os vossos clientes e melhoram duma vez por todas

Perfect purchase from start to finish. Delivery was on time, the perfumes are original and well packaged. Excellent communication with the company, always clear and attentive. I was very satisfied with the experience

Got my order today, took 6 days to arrive, perfect wrapping, the samples are original and the atomizers are great, the store has a good variety of niche fragrances with a lot of size sample options to choose. The prices are good, you can try niche fragrances for 5 euros that´s a good deal.
