Great time all-round!! Me and 4 others did the Podium package at Singapore 2023, plus an extended 5 night stay in Bali. The Formula Escapes team were great with everything and all documents came through in good time ahead of travelling. The hotel choices were great in both countries and travelling with one of the best airliners I've experienced (Singapore Airlines). My group have already started to discuss next years trip (We're thinking Abu Dhabi).

We had a great experience with Formula Escapes. It was our first ever Grand Prix, and our first ever multi-stop package tour holiday so we didn't really know what to expect. We chose the Singapore & Japan trip and it was definitely worth it. The enquiry and booking process was straight forward and for the whole trip all we had to do was show up and everything was planned and organised for us. All the hotels were really nice and really well located for the tracks as well as sight seeing and exploring the local area. Chris and Rachel were great fun and just wanted to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. If there were any unforseen issues, they were very quick to deal with it or offer alternative options. Thank you Formula Escapes - We are now looking at where we can join you next year!

We recently travelled to Singapore and Japan with Formula Escapes. We have been to many previous Grand Prix both independently and with other tour companies.
Prior to going we dealt with Neil who was very prompt in answering questions. We were met in Singapore by the local representative who put us in a taxi to our hotel ( which had been changed two days before we travelled). On check in - early check in was not available which was a bit frustrating. The new Hotel Rendezvous was in a much better location than the previously allocated hotel and should definitely be considered by the company for future use. We neither saw nor heard from the rep until
A what’s app was received on Sunday evening advising a walking tour had been booked for the following day. Only 10 guests turned up, probably due to the last minute notification- nowhere in our booking had it been mentioned that this was included. The notifications of transfers back to the airport for our onward journey were made by what’s app which is fine if you have your mobile data turned on - otherwise you’d be in the dark!
This element of our journey could just as easily have been done independently as there was no interaction with any local rep other than on arrival.
When we arrived in Japan, the local rep met us and bought us airport bus tickets to get to our hotel ( an hours journey and a two hour wait) - not a great first impression. However one of the group messaged Chris who was in the hotel and he said he’d pay for taxis if we got ourselves in to groups of 4 - again this was communicated by what’s app so not seen by everyone.
Chris what’s apped a couple of ideas of things to do in Tokyo, and we were left to our own devices. Onward travel arrangements to Kyoto were again sent by what’s app as were a couple of sightseeing ideas for Kyoto. The group travelled by bullet train, whilst our luggage went by truck.
Everything worked and was delivered but it did feel that the communication of information was very last minute. A detailed itinerary beforehand would have been good for those who don’t have what’s app.
It wasn’t until the last night that a group “meet” was scheduled in the bar - perhaps a missed opportunity.
Travel to Suzuka from Kyoto is 2 hours and perhaps a slightly earlier start should be considered so that more of the track action and facilities at Suzuka can be enjoyed. Tips such as the Ferris wheel was free to go on , or take the tunnel to your seats in stand D should have been shared with all guests, even by an announcement in the coach.
Previous tour companies have provided a summary at the end of both quali and the race detailing what guests may have missed. Competition’s such as guess the pole time / driver or winner and winning time were organised and all this gave the feeling you were with a group. This was missing for me from this trip.
The Japanese guide Momo who was with us for the trip to Mount Fuji and Himeji Castle, was lovely and very informative.
Whether Chris and Rachel weren’t as engaged due to getting married as other reviews suggest they normally are I don’t know - but we’ve definitely experienced better “hosting”

The communication was very good ahead of our trip however once there it felt like we were left. Having spoken to a team member ahead of purchase and asked for advice on what the best tickets would be to we were told that our tickets would allow us access to certain grandstands, once at the track we found out that wasn't the case. After contacting formula escapes we didn't get a response despite being on wifi the messages didn’t come through. So we sorted it ourselves at the track (having to pay an additional £1000) to get grandstand tickets. On the Friday we didn't even get to see a car (having to watch on the screens) as the viewing platforms were few and full. The eventual response from the formula escape team was disappointing to say the least (with one message still going unanswered). We had also been told that there would be a member of the team 'on ground' that we could contact. I contacted the number provided in an email but that person was in the UK. The reason we chose Formula Escapes was because this was our first time attending a race overseas and wanted their ex Pericles, overall don’t feel we got good value for money. If we were to do it again we would book ourselves and do more research.

We just returned from Singapore and Japanese F1.

The whole experience went very well, the range of activities organized were great, however there is much room for improvement with communication and keeping everyone briefed well before hand on what was happening and when, rather than continuously winging it at the last moment.

Mo Mo was a STAR, a brilliant communicator and so funny....she really stood out for us..

Singapore was brilliant, wrap around entertainment what an experience..despite the price of drinks.. On arriving at the Hotel or soon after, a welcome meeting to meet other guests would have been very welcome to help mix and enhance the experience. We were left to fend for ourselves on our own for a week.. which was not a problem, however that's why we booked onto an organized trip to share our experiences..

Japan.. great people, so respectful and gratifying (us Brits have something to learn here) the F1 seats are just benches so would welcome some prior advice before the trip on options to make this more comfortable (we spotted some locals with options to add a backrest.)

Our Itinerary had us traveling back on the 28th Sept, however we found out late that we were flying back on the 29th, so had to stay in a local hotel an extra nite, bit of a pain..

Overall it was a Great Experience and will be doing more of these trips, hopefully we will see some of these comments being addressed next time round..for the benefit of all your guests.

Just returned from Singapore Grand Prix & we weren't escorted at any stage of the trip, which was unexpected & disappointing.
Taxi driver wasn't there to meet us at Singapore airport. I rang 2 of the contact numbers but both were unanswered, as I rang the 3rd contact number the driver turned up.
Dropped off at the wrong airport terminal for our trip to Bali.

Thanks to Neil and the Formula escapes team for arranging a wicked trip to Singapore.

Neil and the team were Easy to deal with and catered for all our requirements. They even made sure the Redbulls didnt win 😂.

My first GP experience with my son at Formula Escapes. What a professional set up. Chris, Rachel and Neil were great to have available for any queries you might have. A well organised trip from start to finish. I would highly recommend them for GP’s for the future. Thank you again!

Amazing experience! I was extremely nervous as this was my first time travelling solo, I asked so many questions (probably too many!) prior to arriving and wasn't ever treated like a bother, always receiving quick and clear responses. Once I landed, I was greeted at the airport by Rachel, Chris & Sophie who were so lovely and welcoming. Had a very small issue with my hotel room (no fault of Formula Escapes) but this was very quickly sorted and the tour reps couldn't have been more helpful with the problem. They held a welcome drinks event on the Friday where I got to know some of the group attending along the way and I made some friends very quickly. If you're at all hesitant to go alone, don't be! I promise you'll have one of the best experiences of your life and meet some great like-minded people. Thanks again to Chris, Sophie, Rachel & Ben for making my first GP and solo travel experience the best one it could have possibly been. I'd definitely book with Formula Escapes again and would recommend to everyone.

I would give Formula Escapes 10 stars if I could.

We asked them to build a custom made experience for our honeymoon consisting of 9 nights in Milan and 3 day Champ club tickets. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they literally took care of everything - all we ever had to do was show up because they had done the rest - including airport transfers, circuit transfers, finding us on the Thursday to give us a welcome pack, and organising optional social events on evenings through the race weekend.

They even had a bottle of bubbly delivered to our hotel room as congratulations on getting married. Unbelievably good customer service. We will only ever book F1 through this company because they are faultless.

Big thank you to Neil for being amazing through each step of the purchase, and to our race hosts Chris, Rachel, Sophie and Ben for a totally seamless weekend.

We would like to thank Chris and his team for a wonderful Grand Prix experience.
Formula Escapes is a very well run, organised company. Communication was excellent. Everything was meticulously planned, we were kept informed of times, meeting places and given tips on what gates to use, how food and drinks are purchased and when and where the busses were to leave from.
The meet and greet reception on the Friday night was a great idea. Allowing us to meet our hosts and fellow guests.
We had great seats for the race and loved every second of the weekend.
Highly recommend using Formula Escapes and looking to book with them next year.

Returned from Monza 2023 after booking as a birthday present for my husband, couldn't think of a better place to go for your first GP! Can't fault any of the Formula Escapes staff, right from receiving my quotation right up until the end of the weekend itself it was an amazing service!
Would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to go to a Grand Prix, without a doubt booking again!

Just back from Monza 2023. Everything was very well organised and we had great seats at the race. A Ferrari podium was the icing on the cake!

A gem of a group and deserve nothing but praise. From the very start of enquiring to the transfer home it was 10/10!

Absolutely amazing weekend, great company, so efficient and organised. Kept everyone updated with any relevant information and were always at the end of the phone if needed. Was no stress atall in any aspect of the experience, would highly recommend.

I booked the Monza F1 as a present for my husband and Formula Escapes was recommended to me by a friend and I can say that I also would 100% recommend. My experience started with Neil who was friendly, helpful, honest and patient and made me feel as though I was his only customer he also always called me back whenever I left a message. All communication on the build up to the day were really good, clear and useful. We had no problems when we arrived in Milan and were met by Chris who was very friendly. The hotel was lovely, location superb with ample time to explore Milan. Rachel also met us on the F1 days, again text updates of times and where to meet were clear and easy to follow. F1 was absolutely brilliant and you can’t put how good it was into words. Thank you so much formula escapes for making this a weekend to remember we will definitely be booking with you again

Just returned home from the Dutch Grand Prix, yet another amazing well organised trip by the Formula Escapes team, excellent communication right from booking with Neil through to our great hosts for the weekend Chris and Dan. These guys have honestly got a “nothing is to much trouble “ attitude and were on hand to answer any questions or queries at any time over the weekend
Our flight got cancelled on the way home thankfully before we had to left for the airport , Neil worked really quickly rebooking us on another flight and into another hotel whilst Chris organised another transfer for us, For something like this that could have been very stressful the Formula Escapes team dealt with it quickly and efficiently which we are very thankful for.
This was our 2nd Grand Prix with these guys and there will definitely be a lot more .

Just returned from the Dutch GP with Formula Escapes and again, their quality shone through. Chris and Dan were the perfect hosts and it was to the high standards that we have come to expect with Formula Escapes and they looked after us. We were scheduled to fly back on the bank holiday Monday when the NATS failed in the UK but Neil was brought in online to support, looking for alternative flights and hotels for their guests. We were lucky in that our flight eventually departed after a long wait, minus our luggage but that is all arranged to be delivered to our home. Formula Escapes were with us all the time via the internet and telephone and it was very reassuring that we were not on our own.
DONT HESITATE TO BOOK WITH FORMULA ESCAPES, we have been their guests numerous times and we will be for many more.

We recently went to the Belgian GP with Formula escapes as a surprise for my partners 40th Birthday. I was able to tailor the trip and book extras to make the visit bespoke and more special. The team were easily contactable and made sure we were looked after. For someone who normally overseas every detail of a holiday - having someone else take care of it was very different, but an experience we hope to do again with Formula Escapes in the near future. The team are lovely and keep you updated on your visit. We were really happy with the service.
