At the Bristol Shell station, I was wrongly charged £55.13 from pump 1, while my actual transaction was £22.43 at pump 2 — and I have clear bank proof. This isn’t a minor mistake, it’s a complete failure of their system.
How do you even mix up pumps and charge customers random amounts? This is beyond careless and shows zero reliability.
I have absolutely no trust in this station or their payment system anymore. Customers should NOT have to fight incorrect charges with proof in hand.
Avoid this place unless you enjoy being overcharged and dealing with incompetent systems.
Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting. A 60 pound admin fee for a genuine mistake of not paying 15 pounds at the till of the petrol station I am a regular at because of my autistic son in the car having a meltdown and self harming and no chance whatsoever to challenge the amount nor to speak with anyone.
Shocking experience
Shocking experience! For a company that won't accept rude behaviour they are pretty discusting on the phone. Horrible behaviour.
false accusations
Incorrectly pursued me for a fuel drive-off based on wrong vehicle registration. Only corrected after challenge. No apology provided
Thieves (ironically)
Forecourt eye registered a claim against me for diesel at a Tesco station when I went in to buy a sandwich. I owned a petrol car at the time, they provided 'evidence' in the form of a photo of me at the till paying, a photo of a receipt for diesel where the anpr had failed to add the number and someone had handwritten my registration and another of my car parked by the air machine away from the pumps. Absolutely no interest from them that there might be a problem, they just wanted the money. I now avoid Tesco fuel stations unless I have no choice and encourage others to do the same as Tesco also had no interest in my complaint.
Dundee riverside Tesco garage
I have a letter claiming I drove off. I didn't but my card didn't go through either. I think this is a scam to get the £35 admin fee. I have paid the total but will ring Tesco also. I wonder how often this is happening to this particular garage, Dundee Riverside.
I phoned Tesco Customer Services. Got my £35 back. No explanation.
Forecourteye scammers
My daughter went into a garage to pay for petrol, no goods. She paid & left. Then she received a letter stating she'd driven off! Photos from the garage showed she went to the till. Obviously she left and the card declined. Why they didn't notice in the shop I don't know? She received a letter saying she owed for driving off and was marked in other garages. I rang Forecourteye to explain but they didn't care. Obnoxious rude. Put the phone down on me. Indian company. Couldn't appeal. Disgusting. This happened to my daughter in another garage over a year ago and they looked into it and it was their fault and they apologised and took for the petrol. I personally think this is a scam! I am appalled and will take this further.
Extortion Racket.
Extortion Racket.
Half the fuel stations state they take fuel cards and magically after dispensation they don't.
Large Fuel companies shouldn't get into bed with them.
I wish 0 stars was an option.

I challenged the misunderstanding with this company also, the man Aaron on the phone told me the admin fees would be taken off after explaining an it was an issue on tesco the consumer end he confirmed before I gave bank details I was only paying for the fuel £20.02 till a verification came up on my phone of £80 to Forecourt he lied and was extremely rude..I have since emailed back and forth and asked for appeal they have said I have no grounds to appeal..its insane and very unreasonable..how did anyone get on with not paying as i fairly want to pay for my fuel but not the ridiculous fees on top?
Always get a receipt as these scum bags…
Always get a receipt as these scum bags will send you a fine saying you haven't paid even though the pump won't switch on until you tap your card so be warned!
Worst company! Only looking to make money
My husband purchased fuel from Tesco. Paid and left. Transaction was authorised. Couple days later went for a top up of fuel. Lady recognised my husband and said something happened with the payment the other day need to contact forecourt eye. So called and got rude obnoxious staff called arron I believe his name was. Wasn’t listening to me and said I drove away without paying. I tried to explain we did pay it’s even on our banking app that we paid. He said to prove it by sending our statement so we did. But it was showing as pending, they replied this..
Hello,
The garage stated on the submitted incident that the payment was declined, but you had already left the forecourt.
Please note it is your responsibility to check the accuracy and amount payable of the total transaction you are making and to ensure your transaction at the point of sale was authorised and completed successfully.
Our admin fees are non-removable as these are in place to cover our costs with the work involved in the incident.
To pay your outstanding balance, please go to forecourteyecom and click the 'Pay Now' button or scan the QR code on your initial letter.
Regards,
The Forecourt Eye Team.
After this I contacted Tesco directly to find out what’s going on. They said it’s definitely not my fault and I should not be paying any fees as I did pay, unfortunately it’s what they call a “ghost” payment. When it comes out of my account. Goes to theirs but doesn’t clear it just sits pending. Which is in no way a fault of mine but a merchant issue with world pay the service they use. Forecourt eye are not listening to the truth. They want me to pay again and also fees on top. He hung up on me 3 times as I asked for a manger. 2nd time I told him I was recording the call he said he didn’t consent, became rude and hung up. After that I did not reach out to them again and dealt directly with Tesco. Hopefully this will be resolved and fees scrapped. They just want to keep adding admin fees for absolutely no reason. I never got fuel and drove away. I legitimately purchased the fuel. The merchant didn’t work.
Due to an error with the system…
Due to an error with the system crashing after I paid for my £20.60 worth of fuel they are now demanding a £35 fee on top of that even though it was due to no fault of my own. When ringing up to question what can be done I was repeatedly told it's non negotiable. When asking to speak to a supervisor or manage they repeated it's non negotiable and then hung up. This company treats everyone like a thief when they are one of the biggest thiefs going!
Swift resolution.
Had a letter from Forecourt Eye re petrol not paid for. Emailed them with the Met Police reference number and crime number. To my surprise they responded within 30 mins saying that the incident had been resolved. Was very impressed that it was dealt with so quickly. Also advised on what to do if it happens again. Excellent customer service.
Terrible service, terrible fees, terrible people
Terrible service, extortionate 'administration fees' and they hold you over a barrel for something that did not happen. There is nothing you can do to challenge it either. They get you and that is it! You can't pay for petrol again until you pay for the 'charge'. It is a disgusting company, a racket, a useless excuse for somebody to make a quick buck out of people that have either made a mistake or have not made it at all. They make you feel like a criminal which was not the case. If you wish to deal with a company more amiable, I'd suggest speaking to the Yakuza. It would be better than speaking this company at any rate.

Our son received a letter concerning non payment. Forecourt Eye assisted us in correcting the error in his absence due to the incorrect vehicle being reported. Their responses were courteous, prompt and efficient.

Photo clearly shows me going into pay for my fuel. I was not told payment didn't go through. Taken 6 weeks to tell me the payment didn't go through. Not had to pay admin fee luckily! Made me out to be a criminal although I di1d try and pay!
Great for the companies that use them
Great for the companies that use them. Put the wrong pin in for payment card at Tescos and locked our card. No alternate card with me so asked if could come in. Said I must use the sheet that they filled in. NO ALTERNATE but to use Forecourt Eye. Threatening email received and 10% charge added to bill.
Lots of errors! Check the evidence
This is my first Trustpilot review, but I felt compelled to create an account to speak about my experience with Forecourteye.
For context, I previously had an incident whereby a family member was driving my vehicle and did unfortunately forget to pay. That incident was settled and paid in full.
I recently received another letter claiming that I made off without paying, at the same garage. I scanned the QR code to find two CCTV images, one showed my car parked at the pump entirely on its own, and the subsequent screenshot showed a car of the same colour with someone else actually filling up, but with a completely different registration plate, shape and make.
The letter did not clearly set out any formal appeals process if an allegation is disputed. I would suggest that they rectify this immediately if mistakes like this are to happen, and going by the reviews here, it seems to have happened before.
I then contacted them via their website to outline the error, only for their response to be that the garage claimed the vehicle was correct because it had happened before. It took a subsequent email with a fully annotated screenshot outlining the difference in the cars to mark the case as closed.
I would hope that in future, such incidents are reviewed more in-depth and independently of any other incidents, to avoid these errors. Especially to receive letters mentioning debt resolution agencies causes a lot of unnecessary stress and could make certain individuals pressured to pay without fully understanding how to challenge the claim.

This company use bullying tactics to extort money out of vulnerable people it was a genuine mistake made by the cashier at the fuel counter in tesco and now I've had to pay 100 pounds altogether for fuel worth 30 pounds .
Vile company
Vile company, that don’t care about the reasons behind the transaction failing, and despite being the petrol stations fault you just get the same moronic and robotic response from the call handler. These companies should be regulated by the government, as they charge disproportionate admin fees that cannot be justified.
