I was surprised by the ease of ordering the item from your site, plus the pricing of the item. This was then followed with the speed of dispatched, packaged very well . The delivery time was really quick as well.
I will have no problems with keeping an eye on items for sale from Footplate in the future.

My engine arrived very quickly… even in this run up to Christmas… very well packaged and runs a treat. I’ll be back!

Ordered at the Wigan show, too large to carry on public transport and would not be home for a week, so asked for a delayed posting. Arrived as requested in great condition.

Friend is a real model railway fanatic so it’s great to be able to purchase a gift token on-line, rather than having to visit the shop.
Enables him to have the choice to buy at his leisure

Loved the very informative website, open and honest about the condition of the locomotives and rolling stock they’ve got for sale.
I bought an old locomotive which was in excellent condition, and a lovely Micro Trains hopper. Both were in their original boxes and were excellently packaged. Delivery was quick and on time.
All in all a good company I know I can trust.

Another fantastic purchase from Footplate - excellent price, detailed description and fast postage.

Highly recommended and best of all, sign up to their daily email newsletter, you’ll never know- you may find a loco that you always wanted!

Found a pre-owned Bachmann class 37 for sale at Footplate, great condition and very reasonably priced.
Packing and delivery excellent, was kept informed all the way.
Great railway model shop, will definitely use again.

Have bought a few items from.this company now I have always been very pleased their communication is excellent, they post things very quickly +always very well packaged

The two G Scale wagons that I ordered from Footplate arrived promptly, safely and were in excellent condition even though "pre-owned". Their prices were very fair.

I’ve been trying to resurrect an old model railway, and I had no working trains. Footplate was the only place I could find second -hand trains at a reasonable price, so they were in fact the only place I could go. Train arrived promptly (well, apart from Royal Mail being stupid) and runs nicely, what more could I want?
