I've been with the Motley Fool since 2020 and am very pleased with the investments that I made following their advice. I am also very pleased with their client service representatives - they are quick to respond and very helpful.

Very good advices. Very quick on responding to clients by emails. I recommend Motley Fool.

It helped me successful in my investment journey. The basic, simple and elegant solution for starting your investment journey will be with stock advisor canada. It is for long term investments and price is really small and reliable compare to several online investment services. I clubbed it with my TFSA and RRSP. Results are awesome. This is no brainer investment services. Just follow their advise and purchase either on recurring or lumpsum and sit back enjoy it growing.

Loved their articles and services like dividend investor, epic bundle. If you want spend your time on vacation and all math to some one trusted the it will be fool.ca. All suggestions are detailed analysis and experience basis. Never went wrong in my experience.

Immediately after paying for a 1yr subscription, I received an offer to upgrade to a bundle that would include high performing stocks, etc. I wasn't interested but if I were to act right away I could take advantage of a discount and the subscription fee I just paid would be applied to further discount the total. I decided to proceed because I understood there was a 30-day money back guarantee in place.
Less than 1 week after subscribing I found the service was not what I was expecting, certainly not worth what I'd paid. I was incredibly disappointed and frustrated in the number of emails I received trying to further upsell me, offering even better, more incredible stocks if I paid a bit more. I decided I would cancel.
BEWARE. If you did what I did and subscribe to a higher tier, they VOID the money back guarantee.
When I submitted my request for refund it was noted the upgrade was sold as non-refundable. They said it was clearly noted, but I don't recall seeing that. Maybe I saw something but it was phrased in such a way that I didn't realize the 30-day money back guarantee was being voided.
Regardless, I feel the company reneged on their promise/guarantee and now I'm stuck with a subscription I don't want and am not happy.

This company is not concerned at all with providing good stock buying advice. In fact most of their recommendations tank and lose you money in my experience. One year in and not one single suggested stock they have recommended has increased in value. The only thing they are focused on is selling you subscription after subscription to some new and fantastic stock list, that will no doubtedly lose you money. Steer clear of The Motley Fool or you will be fooled.

As you can see by all the reviews, Motley Fool hasn't had a good review in about three years. Likely this is the result of them becoming a company that cares more about upselling and filling up clients' email inboxes with promotions, sales missives and a lot of junk. Unless you're into that kind of thing, look elsewhere for your stock tips. Really, really.

I agree with most of the reviews here on the major upsell harassment. Furthermore, I initially paid $79 for my one year subscription. Renewal was at $249, and they were offering me $50 off as a "loyal" customer. Sorry, but for the info they provide, it just wasn't worth it, so I cancelled. Once I was no longer a member, I kept getting lower and lower offers to rejoin until I finally got my original subscription of $79/year. So why scam "loyal" members by price gouging if you're willing to let the subscription go for $79/year?

Deceptive marketing and website is of generally poor quality. Reports are of poor quality and lack depth. No refunds. Better options out there. Don't waste your money.

This article is grossly exaggerating and misleading investors in the articles headlines. As an owner of this stock, 2000 shares will generate $136/ month in Passive income.
Based upon the current annual dividend of .73 per share, paid monthly = .068 cents per share per month. I would like to know how the author arrives at $252.44 per month on only 1,970 shares?

Reason for leaving,
Aside from the fact Motley Fool Dividend Investor Canada and Premium Hub offer little for advice beyond what can be found online for free and in the newspapers, also Motley Fool makes canceling service very difficult.

Their aggressive upsell tactics started the moment I subscribed as well. I thought I was buying into their complete program only to find out that it was the most basic with little to no info. Then came constant emails to spend more on the juicer information. I receive more emails in a day for upsells than I do for good information on stock picks. I agree that it's a disgustingly greedy and self defeating tactic.

Stories written about investing in dividend stocks for retirement both for AQN and NWH-un.to were repetitive and stopped after a collapse. Just how good is the information really… None of the articles are news and the opinions are not good either. Based on reading the articles on yahoo finance gives me no confidence in any opinions that may come from this source. And yea if you get a few right thats not a good average or excuse the massive failure on all the other stories.

I signed up for this and paid them for a year. The emails I get with the info I want says I need to upgrade to see it. Seems like all they are trying to do is get more money from me without giving any real stock advice. I can’t wait until the year is up. I get more and better information from free sites.

If there’s “0” it would better represent this company! Whatever you read in any newspaper that what they sell to you! But, every single day they will send you reminders to “pay more for the real stuff “?!
Simply scam!!! At the end you have to fight to unsubscribe!

The subscription service is a scam in my opinion. There is no way to cancel the annual review from within your user account, I emailed twice asking to cancel my subscription. Both times i received an auto response saying they would respond to my request within 48 hours, but I never heard back. They then charged my card the auto review rate. It's incredibly frustrating that they don't have a self serve option to cancel a subscription and the ignore you when trying to contact support to cancel.

I have not subscribed so I cannot provide feedback on that service but I do see the MANY articles that show up on sites like Yahoo Finance.

Question for Motley Fool ...how am I suppose be confident in any of your articles when you take every position possible? Then when the 1 out of the 20 positions you've taken is correct you say "look, we were right". At this point I just want you to go away so you stop clogging up the space for reviews I would like to actually read. If there was a way I could filter your reviews from my financial site feeds I would gladly do it.
