Made an order just before 17:30 today, first and last time via foodhub, told delivery time 50 min. Waited till 20:30 and no food arrived nor any update. Tried a few times to contact Foodhub customer service (poor help available) and finally someone answered in chat box to say the resturant has just cancelled your order because of the high numbers of orders, really??? Why took payment out and why no update earlier. Overall utterly poor service and unreliable and never again and wouldn't recommend
Last week I ordered through Foodhub because google suggested it was my takeaway's preferred method to order. After placing my order and getting a confirmation from Foodhub that the restaurant has accepted my order, I sit back and wait. After a while, I check the restaurant's profile on Foodhub and it says closed, but I think maybe they're just not taking any more orders tonight. After an hour, I ring the restaurant on the number provided by Foodhub and they tell me they don't take orders through Foodhub at all. I got a full refund but I spent an hour waiting on food that didn't exist. Wouldn't recommend at all since you can place orders with 'closed' restaurants through the website and be told at every step that everything is fine when it's not.
Screwed up an order months back taking the payment without sending the order to the restaurant, have been chasing up a refund for months now being passed from one incompetent customer service representative to another. Made a simple request to have a refund back of the money they effectively stole back to my bank as I will not he using them again. They refuse to do this saying they will only refund to wallet, they have closed the case without even refunding back to the wallet. They are nothing but deceitful, lying thrives. They should be ashamed of themselves, if this had been justeat would have been resolved in a week with a £10 voucher for the inconvenience.
Have emailed trying to chase a refund for for order that never arrived. Was told to email the customer service team. Which I have already, didn't even have the capacity to check that. Had various chats with an online agent which led no where. Doesn't seem food hub trusts its staff to make competent decisions. Customer service is by far some of the worst in the country. Avoid at all costs.
Foodhub is very reliable and no commission
What else we want
Others like Ordermeal or menulog those eat your profit as commission
So I prefer giving that as discount to my customers.
