Such a scam!
I have just had a shocking experience with this company. Unfortunately read the reviews too late as my experience is very similar to one I have now just read.
I had problems booking online so rang to speak to a sales person, I was told I didn’t have baggage included so was given a new price £1722, the only figure mentioned. Was asked to read and agree to email whilst online. I naively checked the agreed amount, names & flight details, but did not scroll right to the end. The word deposit was not used, initial payment was stated and since I thought I was paying in full, I did not give it a thought. I agreed to email using words I was told to use by “Steve” and made the payment which was £1722, the full amount for two tickets. I got an email confirming deposit paid and another £2100 was to be paid before tickets would be issued. I would never have agreed to £3822, for two tickets!
I rang back and was told to ignore this wording, it was the way they give their discounts and that I had paid in full there was nothing more to pay. I asked for this to be put in writing and rang back 4 times. Each time “Steve” told me not to worry he gave his “word” he would sort it and if I wasn’t happy would refund it in full the next day.. surprisingly he wasn’t working the next day, no one else would help me. By yesterday he said because I had complained about him, he could no longer be “kind” and refund me. In the end, similar to the other review, he offered me a refund of £922 meaning I would lose £800 and gave me the wording to use that it was in final settlement. I had a call quite late when “Steve” tried to convince ( his words) me to accept this offer. I did not accept and am asking my credit card company to dispute and deal with this. But want to warn other people. I am very angry and upset.
