Too many follow up sales emails
Basic booking service who then inundate you with emails offering dubious and in mostly unnecessary additional services. This is really irritating but it would be unwise to unsubscribe in case it was something important that might affect your flight. Just turn the profit making knob down a few notches!
They offer you to buy new tickets than making changes
I mistakenly picked the wrong date and booked the flight. Instantly I realised and tried to make changes but it’s impossible and next day I contacted the agent and he said the changes fees is 209 when the total flight fee I paid was 259. This is soo inconvenient. You guys left passenger with no option but to pay again for any changes. So disappointed and upset. Not reasonable and time consuming service.
Unhappy customer! should have heed the warnings
If you have reviewed the negative experience other people have posted on this website, well here is another one! I will never use or book with this company ever again. The purchase of my flights ended up being worth more than the price I would have paid if I booked through Virgin or Qantas. Too make thing worse, they make it near on impossible to contact them.
Please, do yourself a favour and stay away from this mob or you will be doing the same as what I am doing now...WARNING the next people that are thinking they are about to get a good deal. STAY AWAY guys
TWO HOURS wait for “customers service” for NO service yet!
Turkish airline suddenly canceled a segment of our return ticket that was booked on this flyfar who “prohibit” airlines to change their tickets so you have to wait for hours on phone for their answer!! I’m waiting and still waiting and it’s been TWO HOURS no answer yet! Besides, they rip off for changes even airlines’ mistake or even if airline forfeit change fees, they don’t! They don’t care for pandemic or anything they just want take advantage of people’s need; very cruel stay away pay little extra for pronounceable booking website not at all this one!

After months of emails (one way) and several hours of waiting for the call centre and speaking with their agents, I was told my request for a refund was made to the airline (initial flight was cancelled by the airline so I had to go through FLYFAR to request refund). I contacted the airline to confirm this and the airline stated they never received a request from FLYFAR. I have heard nothing back from FLYFAR and have been transferred from one agent to the next. This is not a legitimate business. DO NOT BE SCAMMED.
Terrible company! Do not book
My flight to Melbourne got cancelled due to Covid in JANUARY, for February. Which is fine. I opted for a refund for the flight. I was told on the phone by a flyfair staff member that I would be charged $55 “handling fee” for Flyfair to cancel my flight or I can ring Jetstar to receive my full refund. It is now MAY, I have not received money nor contact regarding my cancelled flight. I rang Jetstar today again to find out what was happening with my refund, they informed me it was refunded on the 13th of January. I rang FlyFair and they told me I had to be charged the “handling fee” , when I questioned why I was told false information she said she didn’t know, I asked to speak to a manager but no one was “authorised” to help me understand. Terrible service, don’t book with this company.
I booked a flight from London to Sydney…
I booked a flight from London to Sydney on 16 November and paid using my credit card ($6,000). The flight was cancelled on 17 November and Flyfar promised to refund the money within 6-8 weeks. It is now 13 March 2021 and over 20 weeks later but still no refund. I am now taking them to court to recover the money.

I Believe this website is a scam, I called the Fijian airlines as my flight was canceled and rebooked, I paid extra for cancelation and refunds for my flight due to covid! The emails over the last
Month and a hit has been disgusting, from America to Australia. Can’t use the ticket in March as they booked me. Needed the flight in January, needed to book somewhere else. The airline said the flight can be fully refunded, have checked multiple times, but the emails state it’s not and they aren’t trying to help me, THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM AND TRYING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I booked a flight through FlyFar to fly Adelaide to Goldcoast
I booked a flight through FlyFar to fly a Virgin Australia flight from Adelaide to the Goldcoast on 12 December and return on the 18th December. COVID-19 meant that border restrictions were in place meaning 2 weeks quarantine was required and therefore my family couldn't fly. Virgin have a clear policy where flights have been impacted by this they will allow unlimited changes for free or cancelation and a credit in the travel bank. In addition to COVID-19 the actual flight I booked was also cancelled and I received an email from FlyFar asking if an alternative flight was ok which was indirect. I advised no. On top of this I reminded them I could not fly anyway and sent them the details of Virgins cancellation policy and asked them to cancel the flight. This was the 2nd email I sent and got no reply. I spend 1 hour on hold to get through to the company. Initally advice I can not cancel or make changes as that's what her policy says. Then I can change but incure fees. She denied that a cancellation was possible and I waited probably 40 mins to speak with a supervisor which again was denied. Said my only option was to change and incure fees. Multiple times I was ignored and the line was silent. Zero understanding and talked as if there was not pandemic. The worst type of company and service. Only looking to make money of the back of COVID and not honor what airlines clearly offer. I could reluctantly live with the $55 admin fee to change the flight which Virgin would not have charged, but ten had to pay $350 on top to change the flight, event though the flight was listed with Virgin cheaper than the flight I originally booked. This company is one to avoid and perhaps the most unhelpful and supported customer service team I have ever spoken with. Matt Clarke

This is definitely a scammer, if you value your dollar, keep away from this booking agency.
I booked the ticket from Sydney to Cairns, but due to COVID-19, the flight company cancelled the flight, then flyfar refused to give me refund, after many calls and arguments, they said give me open ticket voucher. But after a few months, when i try to use this voucher, they keep hang out my calls when i call them again and again. Their customer service is horrible, very rude communication. They just embezzle my money at all. Keep away from them!!!!

Today i sent an email to the airline and CC Flyfar in. Telling the airline about the problem and Flyfar is profiting from the airlines during this time. I hope to get a reply in the next few days from Icelandair. Don't give up. Keep emailing them and CC the airline in so they know Flyfar is profiting from them. Wotif got my money back within 3 days from the same airline. This company just wants to keep peoples money. No customer services whats so ever

Utterly useless
Utterly useless, do not get back to you when they say, all they want is money, have no idea about the geography of Australia. One rep thought it was ok just to fly me out of Brisbane rather than Cairns. DO NOT USE these clowns.
Never again with Flyfar!
I've never dealt with a booking agent this bad before. I made a booking and received an email confirmation from Flyfar. Then i called to speak to someone about my booking. The person's name is Lavina. She was extraordinarily rude on the phone. After I told her over the phone, the booking reference number and the order number, she told me she couldn't location the reservation. I said I have an email from Flyfar and these are the only Order Number and Booking References I have. I read out this twice over the phone. She still couldn't find the reservation. Then she told me that there must be something wrong from my end, or I am reading it wrong. I reassured her it's correct. Her attitude was rude, she started to talk over the top of me, sounding very arrogant, unprofessional, uncooperative, unhelpful. I've never encountered someone this rude and hostile over the phone before.
I asked her if she could please transfer me to someone else, she said no.
I asked her if i could please speak to her supervisor, she said no.
I said can I please forward you this email, so you can see what Flyfar sent me, she said no.
so the answer from her is basically, I can't confirm your reservation and there is nothing we could do, and I won't help you further.
None of this is helpful, the most shocking thing is her overwhelmingly rude, and angry attitude.
this is my first experience booking with Flyfar, certainly will be my last!
Cheapest Airfares - On paper maybe!
After extensive searching found a really competitive priced flight with Flyfar (Emirates/Qantas Sydney to Dublin) - They managed to accept booking and provided a flight confirmation and, of course, transacted the funds. Within hours I received an e-mail advising that the Airline had declined the booking as the pricing was invalid!
However for an extra $500 I could get the tickets as ordered.
This really feels like standard process for them to lure clients in and hope they don't cancel/complain when hit with the extra fee. Anyhow guess they lucked out this time as I have both cancelled and forwarded my complaint to ACCC (and I'll see if there is anyone else I should take this matter up with).
Best to avoid this mob.
Cancel flight
I bought a flight ticket from Brazil to Sydney and also I bought the cancel travel insurance, in case I need cancel or change the flight. Now I wanna change the day of the flight, I sent an email to Flyfar yesterday and until now I haven't got any message from then, my flight is booked to March, 30. Could someone help me with that ?
Scam! They take your money before issuing a pending ticket, charged me twice and only refunded me one transaction
Attempted to book the flight but was shown that the transaction failed by the end of the transaction. Tried to rebook again which turned out to be a success. I then check my email to find that the booking was pending, then minutes later another email was received stating that "there was a problem". I check my bank statements and it shows two payments being made at the same time as the failed and the successful transaction. I then email flyfar asap for a return for both transactions. They quickly resolved the second transaction and made a return but not for the first transaction.
I ended up chasing the sales executive Nicole and attached bank statements and my bank contact details as instructed but Nicole seemed to be confused with the amounts going in and out. Even though I've made 2 attempts to make it easier to understand basic maths, that the credit and debit does not add up in the end. After a month of series of emails explaining the amount going in and out, I had to put a dispute the transaction with my bank and got my money back successfully from them. Flyfar has got to be the worst travel agency I've ever dealt with.

BEWARE SCAM - My husband and I monitored prices for a week which did not change. Sat down and booked at same time. Both went through, got confirmation number, money deducted from credit card etc. Then my husband got an email saying his had not been confirmed. Immediately called and was told that the price had just gone from 4,000 to 7,500 (checked website and still 4000). It appears that they take your money, and then prior to issuing tickets (at least 24 hours) the price increases significantly so you are stuck. I just told them to cancel my ticket. I am told our money will be refunded in 7 days but after reading reviews and our experience I am very doubtful.
I will be following up with the ACCC and other consumer legal remedies to ensure that this company is exposed for what it is - a dishonest scam. Stay away from them.
