I’ve been using the Flo app for the past few months alongside NHS fertility treatment, and while it’s useful for tracking periods, ovulation, symptoms, sex, and notes, I’ve been really disappointed by how inaccurate its fertility predictions are.

I’ve consistently logged my data since January and am also under the care of a fertility consultant who monitors my follicle growth and womb lining with regular scans. Despite having months of cycle information, the app predicted my best chance of conceiving as 25th May, which is actually when my next period is due. My consultant confirmed my actual fertile window was between 7th–12th May.

That’s a huge difference, and for an app that markets itself around fertility and conception tracking, it’s concerning. Thankfully I have professional medical support, but I genuinely feel sorry for people relying solely on the app’s predictions while trying to conceive, as the information can be very misleading.

It’s a decent tracking app, but I wouldn’t trust it for accurate fertility guidance.

Honestly , The application is good to track your cycles but all the other stuff is basic information that you can find on the internet.

Been using this app for over 6 years - at this point it has all my period data in a reliable way that I don’t think I’ll ever change apps - I do feel like there could be more personalized information on what hormone stage you are in and what to eat/fitness activities - other than that all good can’t complain!

Annoying notification system will pester you every day about potentially being pregnant (even though I can't medically) or a million questions about your sex drive. I just want an app that tracks my period, and not trying to force me into their secret chats. Their free trial "offers" will trick you into another free trial but they turn off the setting that emails you prior to the ending trial. And don't bother with customer service, they won't care once they've collected the money.

Update: I've contacted them multiple times about this issue already

Way too many emails and notifications. Automated answers not very accurate. Information on site helpful.

Scam alert. I paid for a 1 month trial, immediately cancelled my subscription because it’s so expensive, and they charged me $114+ anyway. Sneaky, unethical, scam, theives.

In response to reply: yes I was forced to select a premium option, but cancelled it right away and was still charged. I have been refunded now but this served as a warning to new users, you may be charged even after cancelling.

I have been using this app for a few years now and I absolutely love it!

Accurate and easy to use

I've been using Flo since 2017, and it truly stands out as one of a kind. As a long-time user, I really appreciated the loyalty offer they extended, it felt like they genuinely value the people who've been with them from the start.

One thing I love is how seamlessly it works across devices. Even after losing my phone, signing into a new one was effortless and I never lost my data or history.

The partner feature has been a game-changer for my relationship. My partner now gets real insight into how I feel during different phases of my cycle, which has opened up so much understanding between us.

The community is another highlight, being able to connect and converse with other women who share similar experiences makes the app feel so much more than just a tracker. It's a genuine support space.

After 8+ years, Flo continues to grow and improve in ways that actually matter to its users. Highly recommend!

Fantastic app highly recommend

I downloaded the app and was offered a 2 week free trial. On checking out I was instantly charged for the year. Flo, Apple, and Paypal have all refused a refund, despite me querying it literally directly afterwards. Won't be using the app, terrible experience. They 'can't refund me' but they still have my money.

Accuracy is 100% Feels like my emotional support application lately, helps figure out a LOT more than just cycle tracking.

I use Flo to track my periods and it also correctly identified that I had fibroids - a health issue that I didn’t even realise I had until I identified with some of the symptoms. I find it really useful and helpful.

Really enjoying using Flo so far. The app feels smooth, clean, and easy to use. I like the overall design and the way profiles are presented. The community vibe is also nice and engaging.

It would be even better if users could customize their own background images and usernames more freely. Also, improving the background image avatar design a little more would make profiles look even more attractive and unique.

As we all know that, clue app is providing more features than us! So it would be better if we also bring in more features.

One more suggestion: It would be great if we could add more than 5 profile tags.

Been trying to cancel for a few weeks. Applied for the £1 month trial. Realised after a week I didn’t like the app.
The website claims my password is incorrect (yet I can log in to the app fine) Iv requested to reset it around 4/5 times in the last 3 weeks to never receive a email.
Iv now been charged £79.99 for something that I don’t want. Basically they don’t want you to cancel. And like to rip people off. Avoid at all costs

I have been using Flo for many years now, from tracking for ovulation to fall pregnant, through my 2 pregnancies and now navigating peri-menopause. It has been such a helpful way to track my cycle and symptoms each month. I would be lost without it!

This app has accurately prepped me for two pregnancies. helped me recognize my patterns moods swings and body changes. At almost 40 I am now confident with this app
