Great service, best price we found, with full structural report delivered in 24h of inspection - we simply couldn't ask for more. 

This is the second time we've used Flettons as the first property we were looking at purchasing highlighted far too many issues.

Our surveyor was Simon and he produced a full structural survey report for us for both properties. We found the traffic lights system very useful but most of all the indicative costs for essential and improvement works as it helped us plan our budget. We've only lived in new build properties before so having a full professional survey picking up any potential issues with the properties was of great comfort and reassurance. The photographic report was also very useful to keep a record of the property's condition. Having the full strucural report also helped us negotiate a better deal for our buildings insurance. 

Simon was very approachable, accessible and answered all of our queries to date promptly.

Overall very happy with the service and we've already recomended Simon to a colleague of mine who is also going through a purchase.

Used Flettons on a recommendation & the full RICS report that came back (slightly late after some chasing) was detailed and clear. Lot of photos, estimates, and details. I've never purchased a property before and this was the first survey I've had done so can't make any comparison.

The only let down was the after service: I got a damp report done as recommended by the survey & asked the surveyor if he could look over it & give an independent view. I emailed and phoned Flettons a number of times, was promised that the surveyor would look at it but then never heard back. Pretty disappointing on that aspect.

It took a bit longer than expected, (not much), but when I bought the £650 survey as promoted on their website, I received exactly what I paid for. Which is good. The Surveyor inspected the property in details, from checking ceiling, walls conditions to make sure thermostat worked as expected. I loved the heat-distribution images in the report. The report was detailed, and to me it's a very good document that states the condition of the property I am going to buy.

I recently had to pull out of a property purchase and then went on to make another one. This gave me the chance to compare two surveyors, like for like, as both did a full building survey. The first company did a decent job, and they are well reviewed elsewhere on Trustpilot. However, Flettons left them standing. The level of detail, the clarity of the language, the quality of the photos (they must have some kind of super selfie stick to get some of the exteriors), the inclusion of estimated costs and timescales for work needed, a heat diagram and a floorplan showing the load-bearing walls were the kind of fantastically useful extras that should be standard, but I think generally are not. The service was great too, from swift and efficient communications to patient and thorough query replies. The survey was carried out 10 days after first contact, with a summary report arriving the day after and a full report a week after that. Thanks, Simon.

Great service and an excellent report. Easy to read and understand, raise a number of issues that would otherwise have gone unnoticed by me. Saved me from making a purchase i ultimately wouldnt have been able to afford.

After an initial mistake relating to the scope of the report, Simon went above and beyond to rectify the issue as soon as possible. The morning after the mistake was highlighted, Simon revisited the property and proceeded to work late into his Friday evening to get the updated report back to me as soon as possible. The report itself was comprehensive and clear. Any queries that we had were answered promptly and clearly even responding over the weekend. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Flettons after my experience.

Simon produced an absolutely fantastic survey. Very thorough and well presented making the vast amount of information easy to digest. The traffic light system used to identify the urgency of repairs was particularly helpful, as was the estimate repair costs which helped with price negotiations. My estate agent even said it was the best survey he'd ever come across! Would highly recommend!!!

Report was incredibly detailed with photographs and clear instructions of what to ask the conveyancers/solicitors.

Simon carried out a full survey on a house we just purchased, the report was very detailed and thorough, Simon was very professional and polite and it has been a pleasure speaking and dealing with him. Our property lawyer also commented on how thorough and detailed this report was too, and we would have no hesitation recommending Flettons Surveyors.

These guys done my mother in laws bungalow. Never having had a survey before I'm not really sure what to say.....they were there on time & we received the online report in not bad time at all. The report was detailed & covered everything that should be covered.....all in all very good.

The survey report was delivered on 26th May. On 30th May I emailed the surveyor to raise some questions. No response.
I followed up via email on 1st June. The surveyor informed he was on holidays until 19th June and he would have replied subject to internet connection.
I emailed on 18th June. No response.
I followed up via email and phone call on 20th June.
On 22nd June surveyor finally emailed us with some brief and insufficient answers.
We replied via email and called him, but he never responded or return calls.
It turns out the survey has two major mistakes which have been pointed out by our solicitor.

Ironically, immediately after I complained on Flettons website, the surveyor emailed me...

It is unacceptable to pay £700 for this kind of service and I hope my review will help people to avoid at all cost this company, because it is a waste of money and energy. We have been ripped off.

We commissioned Flettons to do a buildings survey of a property we're purchasing, and everything about our experience was excellent.
