This company in West Hampstead is a gang of criminals who specialize in damaging cars that people go to them for insurance to make people pay for these jobs that they themselves damage to fix. I took my perfectly working car to them and took my car out of there on the tow truck with the damaged ECU and they claimed that the ECU was wet. THEY WERE THEY WET ON PURPOSE TO GET MORE MONEY. Now I have to spend more than 1,500 pounds for a new ECU and reprogram my entire car because the insurance company doesn't believe what you tell me. Lari, they won't pay!! They are dishonest and bad people!! I don't recommend this company to anyone!! Unless you want your car back with other problems like they did to me!! The worst of all is that you couldn't get justice to punish them!! But they will pay dearly one day for all the damage caused by customers.

Dear Miqueals, we always appreciate feedback for us to be able to improve our service to our customers. However, I would appreciate it if you would review your comments. The reason I am asking this is the fact your car came in for repairs to the rear of the car. On completion of the repairs as we were doing our final checks and QC, we found that your coolant was low. We topped this up and noticed this was leaking straight back out. At that point we called you to let you know what we found.
You told us that you had a warning light on your dash prior to us repairing your car but did not know what it was. We then offered to investigate the cause of the water leak and explained we would need to put it on a ramp and remove the undertray to see where the water was coming from.
You asked us if you could take the car away? We told you that you and you could take the car away but recommended that it should not be driven due to the coolant leak which could cause damage to the engine. You then authorised us to investigate the problem. After getting the car on the ramp and removing the undertray we found a broken pipe which we quoted to have it replaced. You authorised us to go ahead. On removing the relevant parts to replace the pipe we found fresh water in the sealed ECU box. At that point we called you and requested you to come in to see what we found for yourself. We explained that we did not know how the water had gotten in as it is a sealed box.
The only logical way we felt the water could have penetrated was by possibly a high-pressure wash. This was also backed up by how clean the engine and covers were, yet the undertray was grimy. We also showed you the corrosion on the plugs and ECU. We advised that we could try and dry the ECU and clean the plugs, but this may not work. You then asked us to quote for replacing the ECU.
After getting the costs we then contacted you to let you know. At that point you asked if you could think about it as you could not currently afford to have it fixed and asked if you could leave the car with us until you could.
We again were happy for you to leave the car with us until you decided if you wanted to go ahead or afford to have the repairs done.
Several days later you called us with a third party and started to accuse us of deliberately damaging your vehicle. At that stage we contacted your insurance company and spoke to their engineer who advised they would request an independent engineer to inspect your vehicle.
After the independent engineer inspected and submitted his report to your insurance company, they advised you that it was not related to the claim or work we had done. You then contacted us and asked us if we could carry out the work required. We again confirmed the quote with you. You also asked if you could pay in instalments and asked if by replacing the ECU everything would be fine. Again, we explained that by replacing the ECU this should resolve the problems, however as we could not do full diagnostics due to the problem with the ECU there could be additional sensors or work required although unlikely. At that point you said that you did not want to go ahead and wanted to collect the car.
We’ve been open and honest with you throughout the entire process. If our intention had been to make money from you unfairly, we wouldn’t have allowed you to take the car without the work being completed. Additionally, we would have charged you storage fees, as your vehicle remained with us for a month after the accident repairs were completed. It's also important to note that we couldn’t invoice your insurance company for the work until you collected the car and paid your excess fee.
We believe we have demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and customer care throughout; we do not feel this is a fair review of the service you have received or the facts that have been presented in our response. We therefore ask that you reconsider your review and amend it accordingly.

Requested a courtesy car and arranged a date to bring my car in. Was then told to bring it in earlier which I did but there was no courtesy car for me. Had to take my car back again. Waste of my time and petrol. Booked it back in for after my original date as there was no courtesy car until then. Handed my car in and collecting courtesy car took over 1.5 hours even though had booked a slot and no one in front of me. Repairs took 2 weeks to complete which was a very long time (9 working days) even though repair was minor and in one location. No communication from then until the call it was ready. Will say repairs are a good standard so therefore got 2 stars not one.

Dear Devra, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear about the issues with us not having the courtesy car available on your first appointment. On checking our system the reason for not having a car was due to the fact one of the cars coming back was delayed and the other car came back with an issue which had to be dealt with before we could give it out. We do apologise for the inconvenience this caused you. Regarding the second booking and the time taken to book your car in according to our system your car was booked on site at 12.30 a check in sheet was then carried out on your car before taking it through and bringing the courtesy car out which then a check sheet was carried out on the courtesy car which you signed for at 13.00. We do try to make this process as quick as possible and at the same time protect both us and the customer.
The main delay in repairs was due to a part being delayed and unfortunately was out of our control.
We also regret the lack of communication and realise that on this occasion we fell short as an update should have been done every 2 working days. We'll review our processes to improve our service. We're glad the repairs met a good standard. All of your comments we do appreciate and will be discussed with the team to enable us to improve our service. Great Service!
The process was quick and I was constantly kept updated. They also did a great job at the repairs itself and the workmanship was impressive. They even cleaned the car before returning it. Highly recommended!
Cannot comment on price as the repairs were being conducted as part of an insurance claim.

Fast, Clear and Reliable
Repairs to my vehicle were completed within 2 weeks of an accident and returned promptly. Reception staff were very helpful and clear in estimation times of return and easy collection was arranged. Vehicle was returned with the relevent fixes and was thoroughly cleaned.

I took my car to fix auto west Hampstead for paintwork and panel repairs as my insurance recommend it to me, and I am beyond disappointed with the results. The quality of work was subpar—uneven paint, visible streaks, and poorly aligned panels. It’s clear that little attention to detail was given, and the finish looks nothing like what was promised.
Not only was the work below standard, but the customer service was also lacking. When I raised my concerns, they were dismissive and unwilling to take responsibility. I expected a professional job, but instead, I now have to pay someone else to fix their mistakes.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality repairs. Save yourself the hassle and take your car elsewhere!

If I could give this place zero stars
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My insurance recommends this garbage garage to take my car for repairs, and what I got back was an absolute disaster. Car was with them for ten day and when it came back!!!! The work was sloppy, the paint didn’t match and not even one panel was realigned correctly. Sent the car back to them, the car came back again after 4 days and even then they didn’t rectify the issues that I raised with them, I now have warning lights on my dash saying side light failure and also my gearbox is now making very unusual noises when holding the brake. I called again to complain but they completely ignored my concerns and said they were z a going to get one of the managers to call me back but haven’t heard from them since. Tried calling them again myself but calls were ignored. They are dismissive, and completely unwilling to fix their mistakes.
It’s clear they don’t take pride in their work or care about their customers. I wasted my time and money here, and now I have to go somewhere else to fix the mess they made. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here!
