We understand that supply chain issues surrounding certain vehicle manufacturer parts can sometimes affect the experience. Despite these challenges, we strive to provide excellent service and transparency, and we're thrilled that our team was able to complete the repairs ahead of schedule
If you can avoid, do so.
My car went in with minor scuffs and scratches to the front bumper following no fault contact in a car park. Pictures were uploaded to them so they were aware of the level of damage. The car went in as planned on the 11th of March and was not returned until the 24th of March. No correspondence came from the garage with regards to time scales, I had to call on 2 occasions just to get an update to which they had no answer and according to my Mercedes app the car was only unlocked (or left unlocked for a period of time) after being with them for 8 days. On collection there was no run down of the work that was actually carried out i.e. were new parts fitted or original parts repaired. I will be forwarding my comments to my insurance company as they organised the repair.

We strive to provide clear and timely updates to our customers, and it appears that in this case, the system was updated with a "do not contact" status due to your overseas work schedule. As a result, communication was limited.
While the repairs were completed within a couple of days, we encountered difficulties completing the final radar calibrations and diagnostic checks due to a pre-existing communication fault. We understand how important these issues are, and we are sorry for not meeting the high standards we aim to deliver.
We are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all our customers, and we truly regret falling short in your case. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.
The staff were very nice however,
The staff were very nice, however, I had terrible trouble getting through on the phone. I spent several hours trying to get through after receiving a text telling me to phone as my car was ready. At one point I was on hold for over an hour and was cut off several other times. I was told there was a possible problem that was being investigated.

Very easy, called made appointment left car, the ladies at desk great and friendly. Kept the car for 2week kept updates, was mobile although as curtousy car was given. Great service and friendly staff.

10/10 service , Sandra the lady at the front desk is a diamond so chatty and welcoming, also very professional when dealing with the smoothness of dropping the car off and collecting . Shirley was great make me feel so at ease that my car would be fully repaired to a high quality standard . Elaine was also pleasant and helpful during my experience with this car repair company. Overall fantastic service and great staff.

Not enough drivers to return car on day…
Not enough drivers to return car on day job is finished. I had to collect car myself-via a taxi/ to immediately notice job not completed properly. So car had to be booked back in a second time.
I was offered a courtesy car- but out of good will I said it was fine providing the rework could be done in one day and my car returned - however this didn’t happen either….

It’s disappointing to hear that we weren’t able to meet your expectations in terms of service quality and timeliness, especially when you trusted us to complete the job promptly.
Upon reviewing your complaint, I can see that the start of the year was particularly busy for us, as your vehicle was booked in on the first full week after the festive holidays. During this period our team of drivers were extremely busy trying to keep all our customer mobile from the volume of immobile vehicle claims throughout the festive period. While our team worked diligently to complete your repairs in two days, I recognize that the lack of available drivers added unnecessary stress to your experience.
Regarding the issue with the tailgate chip, we initially focused on the rear bumper repair as per the insurer’s instructions, and the tailgate chip was only identified later. Once we had authorisation to repair that as well, we completed the necessary work and delivered the vehicle the following day.
I understand this entire process was not up to the standard you expected, and I genuinely appreciate your patience throughout this. To ensure this doesn't happen again, we’re reviewing our internal procedures to better manage scheduling and communication, particularly around busy periods.

Car picked up and courtesy car delivered straight to our door. Work seems excellent. All pretty painless. Only thing I could possibly compain about is that the courtesy car arrived with no screenwash in it! But that's not really a complaint.

Appalling Customer service.
I was told that my car needed to be off the road for 3 weeks due to key was misplaced and a had to arrange a suitable courtesy car. Then after a day I was told I didn't need this now as I still had one set of keys and car was driveable. Which I had said, its strange the car has to be off road for a key to be synced. This was the start of Dec I was told up to 3 weeks but due to cmas maybe 4 werks and they would call me with updates. I then had to call as I had heard nothing from the services and when I did the girl said of we've been asked for you to send the V5 in? This was after 4 weeks and they hadn't attempted to call me with any updates key still was not ordered. I had told her that we don't have this as this is a Mobility car and we never have this as legally we don't own car. Then sent what I was given with is a copy. After another week or so I had to call again. Still no joy and was asked to supply this again. I then argued about this to get them to listen to me. Eventually they accepted the copy. They said another 2 weeks for the key to be ordered, They said we will let you know what is happening now. After yet another week still no update and called again to be told that my car is booked into the bodyshop on the 3rd Feb. I had to call for this date and had to arrange my work around this. Was not given an option. It was that date and that's all. The 3 is reflected of the poor customer service from the service department and not reflected on the Technicians or bodyshops. It's purely the bad non customer service that was given.

With having to reply on a sub contract partner to code and replace your keys, they should be keeping you updated, and they failed to realise Motability customers are not the legal owner of the vehicle and do not have a copy of the V5 documents. Can’t thank Fix Auto enough for their supportive and speedy response to a situation I found myself in on the 30th December. They were able to take in my car for repair and organise a courtesy car to be delivered to my home quickly to allow me to continue working. They kept me informed about the progress of my repair and the collection of my car was a very quick and straightforward process. Thank you!
