I had my car repaired by FixAuto via insurance from January 2026. It was not a smooth & swift experience. The repair took close to
2 months and I struggled to get a courtesy car the first 2-3 weeks. The car needed to be sent to the main dealer due to issues with the repair. After the repairs I had to bring the car back as some paintwork scratches remained and the wing mirror was not repaired. Also, the washer bottle pipe was leaking and not picked up on repairs needing another visit to rectify. In total I spent 2 months without this car and bought it back 4 times for repairs which were not completed in the initial 2month period. Also, half the panel nuts were missing (picked up at service) and now the driver door became loose needing rectifying on my own expense.

I explained the situation to FixAuto and my final has gone unresponded.

Excellent service from start to finish. I was very pleased with the service I received. They arranged a courtesy car for me that was the same model as my own, which was incredibly convenient and much appreciated. My car was repaired very quickly, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free.
A big thank you to the ladies who assisted me both on arrival and when I collected my car after the repairs were completed. Unfortunately, I forgot to take their names, but they both provided outstanding customer service.

I rarely leave negative reviews for businesses, but on this occasion I feel it’s important to share my experience.

My Audi went into Fix Auto Dagenham in December 2024 for insurance repairs following damage to the driver’s side door and the front bumper. The car went into Fix Auto Dagenham with the driver’s side door seal already fitted and in place.

When I received the car back, I immediately noticed that the driver’s side door seal was missing, along with missing screw plugs. Because of this, the door sat almost half an inch further in than it should have, leaving the door visibly misaligned and causing noticeable wind and driving noise while driving the car.

It also became apparent that the bottom part of the driver’s door had not been fitted properly, which caused a rattling noise while driving.

The vehicle then had to go back to Fix Auto Dagenham for remedial work. I received the car back again after they reinstalled the seal, but a couple of weeks later I discovered that rainwater was entering the vehicle through the top and bottom of the door, indicating there were still issues with the repair.

In total, the car had to go back to Fix Auto Dagenham multiple times due to problems with the repair. Eventually, I informed my insurance company, who decided to move the car to a different repair workshop to investigate and resolve the ongoing issues.

The new garage determined that the work carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham on the driver’s door was not up to standard and needed to be redone properly.

A few months later, another issue surfaced when I opened the bonnet to refill the windscreen washer fluid (which sits above the front bumper). As I tried to refill it, the liquid immediately poured out from underneath the bumper instead of going into the system, indicating a fault with the installation.

At the same time, I also had issues with the driver’s side mirror not heating. When the vehicle went back into the new repairer, they investigated both the washer fluid issue and the mirror at the same time. They discovered that the mirror problem was due to poorly completed electrical work inside the driver’s door.

This meant the car had to go in for further repairs and replacement parts, which took a considerable amount of time.

While addressing these issues, the garage also inspected the front bumper work previously carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham and found that it too was not up to the required standard.

As a result, both the driver’s door repairs and the front bumper work originally carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham had to be completely redone by the new repairer.

It is now March 2026 and I am only just getting my car back after the second repairer had to redo all of the work. Overall, the initial repair carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham was clearly not up to standard and resulted in significant inconvenience, multiple return visits, and a very long delay in properly resolving the damage to my vehicle.

I had a very good experience with Fix Auto Dagenham. The repair was completed on the same day, which I really appreciated as it avoided any inconvenience for me. The staff were very polite and professional throughout the whole process.

A detail I particularly liked was that my car was also washed before collection, which was a very nice touch and shows great attention to customer care.

The only small negative point is that I didn’t receive any communication to let me know that the car was ready, so I decided to go to the garage in person to check. It would have been helpful to receive a quick update or confirmation before collection.

Overall, however, the service was excellent, and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Very impressed with whole experience and repair. Ian, who collected and returned my car was courteous and explained the process clearly. The courtesy car was perfect.
If it happens again I know who to turn to.

My car was in for some insurance work and I wanted to get estimate quote for some private work. I asked 8 times , spoke to 4 different people all of them said they will come back to me but no phone, no email always told have to wait for someone. Every interaction I had I asked for quote and estimate until I just gave up when I collected my car.if they had given me the quote whilst my car was in garage I was most likely going to proceed with the additional repairs anyway. I also don’t appreciate being given a 3 door courtesy car when I gave in 5 door car for repair it was an utter nightmare trying to fit baby and kids in the car. I didn’t even expect like for like car even. I would settled for a basic 5 door would have sufficed.

My car was picked up and delivered back I was extremely pleased with the repair the car was valeted and Ian who delivered my car was very nice .

Overall, a very good experience using Fix Auto. Although work required on my vehicle was relatively minimal, the quality of finish was excellent. Staff were always helpful and polite on the telephone.
The only reason for 4 stars was I had to wait about 11 days for a courtesy car and I had to call them for updates.
