Customer service was useless unable to give delivery dates always promising to call you back but never do. Item not delivered for months with no explanations at all. All in all dreadful service would never use again

Brilliant service and great product, arrived very well packed and protected....would recommend and would definitely use again!

Excellent Service
Received our fire very quickly and was perfect for our needs. Communication was excellent and kept us up to date with delivery etc.

couldnt find a zero star! Truly terrible service. No urgency whatsover in actually supplying goods that had been paid for - didnt know where they were, when they might arrive, who was doing it. Lots of promises incl to refund which didnt happen, ignored e mails etc repeated phone calls, stress and anguish - dont go there, you ll regret it. Eventually got a refund, blood out of a stone.

Very nice fireplace, heavy and strong. Electric fire attractive, I got it in the black nickel and it’s a contrast to the surround. Only 1-2kw heat but I knew that so it’s really background heat which is ok for me. Recommended product and very speedy delivery.

The fireplaces is superb and looks very expensive.
Would recommend this site.

Took about 10 weeks for it to be delivered and to be fair to them they did say it would take that long. Upon delivery it was only one guy, I had to help him bring it inside.
The reason for 3 stars is because the instructions weren’t very clear on connecting the cables up. Also, after the 5th day of using it the unit made a popping noise and there was a flash almost as if it had blown a fuse. Very scary. I haven’t been able to use it since and am currently waiting for the manufacturer (Dimplex) to send an engineer out to fix it. Not a brilliant experience so far.
The one thing I will say, when it is working it’s absolutely gorgeous to look at and very nice.

Fire was as described at a very good price.
The only problem we encountered was the delivery, only 1 man came to deliver the fire instead of 2. The driver wanted me to unload the vehicle, no chance.
The driver ended up rolling the box like a wheel and left it near the front door, even though it should have been put in the room.
I was worried that the fire might be damaged but it worked fine, fortunately.

We already had this fire in another room in our house and liked it so much we ordered for our lounge. It was easy to order and a good price.
I received the confirmation email but then heard nothing else after 2 weeks, I emailed to enquire about delivery and was informed there was a delay and it should be in stock next week. I then received a phone call next week from a delivery company trying to deliver the stove (I had not been informed about the delivery date). I had to re arrange delivery as I was at work, it was then delivered 3 days later when I was at home. On opening the packages I was missing the artificial flue (the spigot was delivered but no pipe). When I enquired I was told to measure what I'd been sent but I had to explain I had not been sent anything except the stove and spigot. I then received an email saying it was shipped (no dates or expected date for delivery even when I emailed to ask). It was delivered 2 days later when I was luckily at home again.
Overall stove is lovely and was a good price but the customer service communication from fireplaces 4 life wasn't quite up to scratch.

Good value and reasonable delivery time. Only 20 minutes notice of delivery, could have been a problem, but worked out fine.

The fire surround had very noticable holes in the wood on the facia of the mantle. We were very disappointed after the amount we had paid for a solid oak fire surround. We understand that you can get knots and marks in the wood but these were like nail holes. Fireplaces 4 Life Ltd were not interested and just fobbed us off with "That's how wood can be". We will not be using them again or recommending them to any one. Very very disappointing!!

My fire suite was lovely but unfortunately the coal bed was in 2 bits (broken) I have asked for a replacement but still waiting I’ve emailed them regarding this again yesterday and they said they would chase it up The fires definitely not right without the coal inset Communications are not good as I’ve got to keep pressing them for a reply Also on the morning of the day of delivery at 7 15 am There was only a driver he asked if my husband could help and I explained he is disabled and couldn’t So it ended with me nearly 70 years of age having to lift it it in, either that or it would’ve had to be returned Didn’t even get an apology So they are lucky to be getting 3 stars

This company shouldn’t be trading. 6 months I’ve had an issue with them & it’s still not resolved. Next day delivery is BS!!!! My order came weeks apart and when it did parts were missing, it was rusty & some bits were broken.
They sold me a marble backplate that I didn’t need & are refusing to take it back & refund me. The communication is a joke & if anyone has any sense they would take notice of the negative reviews. This company will take your money & leave you stranded. Shame on you!
My advice would be to buy locally so you have genuine comebacks because I wish I had...

At the moment I'm very happy with my fire the glow looks amazing and it's a little noisey but not overly so. Everything so far has been great only had it up and running two weeks but fingers crossed it carries on.

When faced with the issue of having to return the fire fireplace responded accordingly and refunded our money within a matter of days for which we are very grateful. Find service. Thank you.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered a fireplace which was shown as in stock online. Received a poorly written email to say it was out of stock so would we like the white instead or wait.
I explained we need the black and we will have to wait but would appreciate extremely quick turnaround once received.
2 weeks later we just took a delivery of the white fireplace from a completely different company?! I assume they use their stock.
Tried to phone and get some answers to get told to just email, or their on lunch, or the manager is Pete, oh no the manager is Rebecca.

Absolutely shocking avoid at all cost

Ordered on Monday and delivered in 2 days, simple easy transaction
