Without doubt we couldn't have come to the conclusion we have in regards to managing our investments without Lee's help. He was able to help distill what we wanted from our investments and recommend a panel of advisers, any one of which would have been suitable for our needs. We approached Find a Wealth Manager after doing some searching ourselves because we found it difficult to make objective comparisons between companies. Finn at FWM was most helpful, making suggestions and introductions to wealth management (WM) companies and later providing very useful guidance and constructive advice on fees and the strengths/weaknesses of two WM companies. I had been disappointed with the performance of my existing IFA and did not know where to turn until I spoke to Find a Wealth Manager. Based on my financial circumstances they directed me to a selection of mature IFA with historical strong past performance and a lower fee structure. Then supported me through the selection process to a IFA I now feel comfortable with.

Needed help having had the same IFA for many years who had recently dropped the ball and been unresponsive several times. Lee provided two very clear firms that met my criteria to manage my assets. Being from the industry I didn't need help with the choosing once given the names but I wasn't familiar with private client asset managers - my needs were changing and I no longer wanted to manage the assets and do the financial planning myself but I had no idea how best to look for suitable firms. Probably like most people I inherited the wealth manager I was with through my employer in 1999 and since then I have stayed with the same adviser through 3 acquisitions. I think everyone experienced a negative return in 2022. Now that I am retired I had the time to start the process of finding a wealth manager of my choice rather than "follow the crowd". We liked the way they helped us find some suitable firms that were all better than our current manager and after some video calls and face to face meetings we found a new manager who we are very happy with. We had a dilemma when our current IFA decided to effectively close down. Luckily, we found FaWM and approached them for advice and help. We found the co-founder Lee to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Based on our needs, Lee suggested 3 potential Wealth Management Companies (WMC) all of whom were highly professional and very capable of fulfilling our needs. FaWM also suggested the key information to consider in discussions with the WMC's. We had several conversations with the WMC's by telephone/zoom and via face to face meetings in their offices, before making our final decision. FaWM were always there to advise us and to answer any queries we had. In addition, FaWM requested information from the WMC's to give us comparative data on performance, costs etc., but we never felt any pressure. FaWM certainly helped us to navigate our path through the minefield of a myriad of companies. We are very happy so far with the WMC whom we are working with. We have already recommended FaWM to several friends.

For someone (me) who knew very little about how to get help, this service made it easy, and did a lot of the work for me. Set up a few discussions and enabled me to talk to potentail providers, and ensured that they took me seriously. Super service! They got a commission for this, I got transparency on it, and I can say it was well-earned.
