Great seed availability

These people are crap company …
These people are crap company and for one thing charge too much for shipping. I ordered 10 seeds once which weigh next to nothing and they can send it letter mail and they charged me $7.99 for shipping?? Not to mention their price for seeds or overpriced for 10 seeds. Their customer service is terrible and this is within Canada so you can imagine if they ship to the US how much trouble you have. I asked for a refund because seeds never arrived in over a month and I kindly asked for a replacement at first but for some reason they wouldn't do that so since I ordered with Etsy instead of from their site I had buyer protection to get a refund. These people are very shady

Order was placed and customer pushed to get his order shipped right away (all orders within Canada are shipped within 3 business days). In approximately a week after the order was placed a reship was demanded. Everyday thereafter for a few days a reship was demanded, each message was replied to politely, explaining they were not due to arrive yet due to the postal strike throwing delivery windows out of ordinary and asked for his patience. This escalated to him threatening to leave a bad review if a reship was not completed. To try and de-escalate, a full refund was issued. This is far prior to any Etsy consumer protection could have been actionable as they were not due to arrive yet. This review (and his first review) is from after the refund took place.
Great Customer Service Experience
I have just placed my first order with Ferri Seeds. Prior to placing my order, I had several questions concerning the seeds I was considering, and Terry was wonderful at responding to them. Terry’s responses were thorough, friendly and super-fast. My first customer service experience with Ferri Seeds has been amazing.

Clivia seeds
I ordered the collection of five Clivia seeds. They came in good time and after ten days they have all sprouted. When I had a question, Terry from customer service replied to my email in 20 minutes! Amazing service!!

So far 50/50 odds.
One packet was good, the other didn't germinate. Same type, same conditions. Loss in confidence has me feeling I have better odds ordering from another country if it comes to that if I can get more seeds to try with. Very expensive for this level of failure.

Hi Sara. I see you order was sent last week. USA orders take up to 19 business days, which is posted at checkout, and also on our shipping information page. We checked and sorry we do not have any email from you, and would have replied if we had received it, as we generally respond to emails quite quickly.
Paid for express post, still waiting
You're asking for a review, and I still haven't received my seeds. I assume then that you want a review of the website ordering system, as that is the only facet I have dealt with. It processed the order. I can't blame you for Canada Post being slow but I did pay for Express post and rather than 2-4 days for delivery, it's now 9 days and waiting.

Sorry the review company sends requests at their own preference, and we have no say in it unfortunately. I see you are in Whitehorse YT, and your order was shipped the day after you ordered. We provided tracking. I'm not sure what normal delivery times are to Yukon Territories. On this order the delivery time that Canada Post provided is next week (which should be posted at checkout also). With any luck they will arrive on time.
Recent order
Quick and professional management of shipment. Detailed and meaningful seeding instructions provided. Fast shipment and tracking options for overseas dispatch. Only downsides were very high costs for shipment and sanitization certificate, as I paid appr. 75€ fir four bags of seeds in total. Would be great, if these cost could be reduced to some extent

Almost all countries require phytosanitary certificates by law. We truly wish it was easier and less costly. I'm glad we were able to take care of this for you, and that you have your seeds.
Almost zero germination rate
I was thrilled to find such a wide variety of seeds from a Canadian company so I ordered quite a few packages. I have over 40 years of experience as a gardener and I've grown some pretty hard to grow seeds so I was truly disappointed that the overall rate of germination was zero for almost all the seeds I started for this season. Could something have gone wrong with the storage methods used? Could it be the conditions experienced in transit? At any rate, it's a shame because I really wanted to support this company.

We're sorry to hear you are not happy with your seeds. We would like to look this up for you if you are able to reach out by email with your name or order number. We tend to carry a lot of varieties that are rare and many take extra time or need cold stratification, so I'm not sure if that's in play here. The growing times are on the seeds pack, and online. We take great care to have fresh viable seeds, and they are fully expected to grow.

Do not recommend!
After multiple disappointing outcomes, I will no longer be ordering. Two seasons worth of POOR germination. It was so bad last year I blamed myself as I couldn’t imagine that many things being problematic, however I’ve had comparable issues this year. In addition, the few seeds that did germinate are more often than not a completely different colour than purchased - many of the things I ordered were solely based on the colour available and the reason I paid so much for so little. Lastly, the amount of seeds (particularly when there is such minimal germination) you receive for the price paid, is far beyond what’s reasonable. I have had success with some of the seeds purchased, like petunias, but the successes are too few. Disappointed is an understatement.
