The best cooking course in Italy
The best cooking course in Italy, in my opinion! We booked Felsina Culinaria for a corporate team-building day near Bologna, and our team is still talking about it.
A few of us cook regularly; others barely venture beyond boiling water. Bianca got everyone involved, and soon we were making pasta, chatting, and laughing together. She’s an excellent teacher with such a warm personality. Watching colleagues who rarely work together help each other fold tortelloni was a particular highlight.
We chose a private vegetarian cooking class and absolutely loved the menu: pumpkin tortelloni, beetroot-filled casunziei, and homemade tiramisù. Everything was made from scratch, including rolling the fresh pasta by hand. Even the committed meat eaters were delighted. I’d go back for the tortelloni alone.
Villa degli Olmi, in the countryside around Castel San Pietro Terme, is a gorgeous setting for a company away day. Sitting down together afterwards to enjoy everything we’d cooked was the perfect finish.
For anyone organising a corporate event or looking for a memorable Italian cooking experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Wonderful food, beautiful surroundings, and a host who makes everyone feel welcome. For me, this is the best thing to do in Bologna.
Thank you Bianca!
