Honestly the guys at feel free travel are some of the most amazing people I have ever met!

Our guides will and Emmy are the most genuinely pure hearted people and when I say grafters I mean rain or shine they’ve got you covered! So attentive and passionate about there job and the country, never a dull moment with these two! From Emmy scraning a tin of beans after a night out to wills witty but terrible jokes they’re just genuinely fantastic

The local guides Ian or (IYAN😉) and ravi our driver are the sweetest pair giving us both lots of information whilst at the temples and local spots

A lot of happy memories have been made on this trip, genuine connections, genuine people and the magic of Sri Lanka making for one amazing trip!

Just finished the 15 day Thailand tour and quite honestly the best two weeks ever, Elle our guide was so down to earth, helpful and above all amazing company who really made the trip 10x better! I was abit apprehensive having never solo travelled before but I needn’t have worried. The tour sees every highlight plus so many added extras along the way that wouldn’t get to see without a guide and the local guides that you meet are so kind and knowledgeable, really recommend to anyone that getting into solo travelling but wants a group feel!

Big shout out to Will / Emmy & Ian our local guide for leading such an incredible 12 days in Sri Lanka!! Plus Ravi our driver for getting us to each destination safely. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the whole trip felt relaxed and seamless. I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of group leaders - bringing the group together, always bringing the positive vibes and making sure everyone got the most out of the trip 🤙🏼 thank you so much !!

My second feel free trip in Sri Lanka was just as good as the first one I did in Thailand. Thoroughly enjoyed my 12 days and all the adventures & new experiences we had. Tour leaders Emmy, Will and local guide Ian were so helpful, great laughs and easy going made it a memorable trip. The bus driver Ravi was a champ too. Highly recommend a stress free well planned trip with Feel free! Just book it. Met some really great people on the tour group. Memories for life!

I recently did the 12-day group tour around Sri Lanka and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The trip offered the perfect mix of activities, free time, and relaxing beach moments.

The accommodations were excellent throughout the entire journey, always comfortable and well chosen.

I took two trips with Feel Free Travel in 2025, and I regret spending so much money on a culturally insensitive company. If you are BIPOC, pick another travel company.

The concept of these tours has real potential, and many *local* guides and certain accommodations were excellent. But the execution varies dramatically depending on leadership. If you happen to get a strong leader, the trip can be amazing. If not, the same itinerary can feel disorganized and unsupported.

In August 2025, I did a 15-day Thailand tour with Emmy, which was excellent — organized, communicative, and genuinely supportive. This trip immediately followed a 15-day Vietnam & Cambodia tour in September 2025. Unfortunately, the second trip was the opposite.

From the start, logistics were inconsistent: airport pickup confusion, changing hotel information, activity schedules shifting without notice, and transportation that was sometimes too small for luggage. Some hotels were great, while others had issues like black mold. These constant surprises created unnecessary stress instead of the supported group experience I expected.

The biggest issue was leadership. On the Vietnam/Cambodia trip, the leaders often seemed inexperienced in problem-solving and communication. At times it felt more like an all-expenses-paid vacation for them — taking photos of each other at sites while the group waited. A manager was also present for part of the trip, which unfortunately didn’t noticeably improve organization or responsiveness. What took me out was when MY GROUP LEADER ASKED ME IF I ATE DOG because I told her I had authentic Vietnamese food with a group of locals. This was one of MANY CULTURALLY INSENSITIVE COMMENTS made by the leaders.

It’s worth noting that Cambodia was a new route for the company, and many moments felt untested, as if travelers were guinea pigs rather than guests on a refined itinerary. Four of us had extended directly from the Thailand trip, and all of us felt especially disappointed because we had just experienced how strong leadership *can* elevate the entire journey.

As a person of color and someone not from the UK, I often felt isolated within a largely European traveler demographic. This may not affect everyone, but it’s something potential travelers should consider if representation and sensitivity matter to you. From reading other reviews, I noticed this is a common issue. If you're not from the UK, you will be discriminated.

The itinerary isn’t the problem — leadership and preparation are. Your experience will likely depend less on the destination and more on who is running your tour.

I went on the 9 day Thailand trip which was the beginning of a 15 day trip for most of the other travelers. My only regret is not begging my boss for more time off so that I could have gone on the longer trip because I was so jealous of everyone else who continued on (also worth mentioning you don’t get to see elephants on the 9 day tour so I wish I arranged to stay an extra day to do that on my own at least). I actually signed up for this trip because I had a wedding to go to in Thailand. My group leader Jamie helped me figure out my travel from the end of my trip to the wedding and I was so thankful! I keep telling everyone at home that it was the best trip of my life! My favorite thing, beyond any activity we did, was meeting the people on my trip! I’ve realized it’s way more fun and rewarding to travel with interesting people from across the world than to travel with friends and family. I had the best time!

Just finished the 15 day group tour to Thailand with Charlotte as our group tour leader and all I can say is that she is the best!!! Charlotte showed up every single day with enthusiasm and that made the trip so enjoyable. Charlotte was always willing to help and be there for any of us if we needed any advice on where/ what do in our free time. Charlottes knowledge on the culture and history of Thailand made the trip even more special. Charlotte also took the time to have conversations with everyone on the tour building deeper meaningful connections which I really appreciate. She was open on your choice to join certain activities, if you wanted to have a chill one in your free time or not :) Charlotte is the kindest soul with the biggest brightest smile, she really made the tour truly amazing.

The trip its self was so amazingly organised and structured. I travelled solo and made friends for life, coming this group travel tour has been the best decision I have ever made. It boosts your confidence, it creates opportunities to learn new things and build potential life long connections, it’s a no brainer !!! X. With that being said we had first hand interactions with the locals, Jip, Pi simu Mr Ken and more. It’s hard to choose my favourite adventure within the tour, everytime they exceeded my expectations and are so amazing in their own way.

If I had any advice to anyone looking/debating booking this feel free travel tour, Do it !!! I have made the best memories and I am forever grateful and privileged knowing I did it around a like minded inviting bunch.

Great tour company. Everything is well taken care of! I did the 15 days tour in Vietnam, it’s great to see the highlights of Vietnam. Also the group leader was very friendly and professional.

If you’re looking for a sign to book with Feel Free, this is it! I’ve just finished the 15-day Thailand tour and can honestly say I’ve been blown away by the experience. I initially thought it was a lot of money, but now I’ve done the tour, I’m so impressed by the value for money. The quality of activities, transport and hotels were super impressive, and I felt so looked after the whole time. From someone who is a bit Type A and was looking for a trip where I could relax and leave the planning to someone else, it was absolutely perfect. The group dynamic was brilliant and I’ve made friends for life - our leader Jamie helped everyone feel comfortable and brought us together really well, whilst also allowing enough time for independence and downtime. All of the activities and locations were brilliant, but my favourites were the Khao Sok floating bungalows, bamboo rafting and meeting the elephants! Highly recommend whether you’re travelling as a pair or solo. Thank you Jamie, and Jojo and Wow our local guides!

My second trip with Feel Free and it did not disappoint 🤩 I adore how organised and communicative this company is before and during the trip. There is always someone to answer any questions you may have. The accommodation was amazing as always. Andy was so considerate and informative throughout the trip. He welcomed us to Vietnam with enthusiasm and kindness.

This was my first solo trip and I cannot recommend Feel Free enough! The itinerary allowed us to see so much of Thailand in just 15 days and our guide Jamie had the best recommendations/advice!
