4 meals ordered. A key ingredient was missing from 2 of the meals and rotten vegetable on a third. A refund was requested but they would only offer money off my next order ... seriously ? That's not going to happen. We have tried other companies, Green Chef, Hello Fresh, Gusto and this was the absolute worst. stay away from Feast Box. There's no weights on the ingredients so impossible to replace, no labels on the four included bags of ingredients so had to go through all of them figuring then out. Total headache !

Our apologies for any confusion surrounding the credit offered to you. Unfortunately we are unable to refund you on your order as it was placed using a third party voucher and no monies were on the account to be refunded.
We sincerely apologise for the missing chutney and stir fry sauce, and the poor quality aubergine. We try our best to ensure that our products are perfect 100% of time, but unfortunately this is not always possible. In the event of more minor errors we do our best to be fair and reasonable in our offers of compensation.
We understand there is room for improvement with our quality checks and packing. We have been talking to the team at the warehouse about improving this process, and we are now looking to add extra box checks on every order before dispatching from our warehouse.

Missing ingredients and poor customer service
Every recipe was missing 1 or more ingredients. One was even missing ALL spices and the rice meaning there was nothing we could cook with the remaining ingredients.
I complained and at first was offered a pathetic 10% off my next order. after multiple emails complaining I was refunded for 1 meal and gave up. I will not be using feastbox again

Who reads the 'Method' before sending the meals out? Anyone?
Your meals are very good but I would like to think that someone actually reads and does something about these reviews.
My last purchase was 'Chicken in Saffron Sauce'. Step 3 of the instructions: 'Cook the rice"...there is no rice in this dish!!!

Every time we make a change to our recipes, we print new recipe cards. Unfortunately, the odd typo/mistake does happen. We have a dedicated 'recipe card error' list, which we update and escalate to the relevant department. I have added your feedback to this list and we will take action asap.

Great recipe box
Great recipe box! Interesting recipes, good-quality ingredients and the customer support is also very good. They also don't use as much plastic packaging as other boxes I've used in the past, which is appreciated. A bit pricey, but overall worth it.

Very disappointing and now cancelled
Very disappointing and I have now cancelled my subscription after just one box. Or at least I have tried to. After you click through to cancel and answer a number of multiple choice questions about why you've decided to cancel, you are presented with a screen telling you that you have 'paused' your subscription. No, I am cancelling it!
My first box was due on Tuesday 7 Dec but didn't arrive. After chasing them up I received an email saying they had delayed it because of a missing ingredient from a supplier. If true why could they not have told me the day before, when presumably they were preparing the box?
So far we have cooked 2 of 3 meals. The prawn and coconut curry was ok but unbalanced. It seems they put most of cost into the spices when it could have done with some veg other than one red pepper.
The Dong'an chicken was unpleasant with a nasty sour aftertaste. Any subtle flavour was overwhelmed by chilli heat and quite unlike any Chinese meal I have ever eaten. Again it needed some veg.
I wonder whether the person who devised the recipes has ever tried cooking them.
A great idea but shockingly badly executed. I shall stick with MindfulChef

We are sorry to hear you have not enjoyed the recipes. Our chefs try the recipes when cooking, and we continue to collect recipe feedback from our customers to update recipes accordingly. I have added your comments to our recipe feedback document, including the recipe card errors, and you can also leave recipe reviews via our website if you wish.
We are also disappointed to hear that you have received your order a day late. Please be assured that If we have delayed your order at dispatch, it is most likely due to an unexpected last-minute issue with ingredients. We usually notify you in advance on the rare occasion of a delay, and I'm sorry to hear we did not.
Your account Is paused, which means no other orders will process. It is set up like this to make it easy for many customers to pause/unpause as they see fit. In addition, many customers will order once every two months or at random intervals as they fancy, and this system makes it much more manageable for them.
I have disabled your account, and I have submitted your email address for a data erasure request. We will delete all data associated with your account email address, asap.

Great recipes with global flavours
Took a long time to decide whether to opt for Feastbox over other recipe boxes and I’m really glad we chose Feastbox! As an enthusiastic home cook, I wasn’t sure if the dishes would be good value compared to our regular home cooked meals but the recipes were absolutely delicious and provided us with new ideas and flavours from around the world. We had a vegan box and each meal was well thought out and really tasty. Portions were generous and timings were accurate. Would recommend for anyone who loves to cook!

Minced Pork and Vermicelli
We normally thoroughly enjoy Fast Box meals but the Minced Pork and Vermicelli was a little disappointing. Far too many noodles which overwhelmed the pork mince, and the Jasmine Rice was seemingly unnecessary. Otherwise a tasty meal!

The food is delicious although it does take a while to prepare. The meals I selected all took around an hour to prepare and cook. Unlike other subscription packs, the items that make up the meals are not organised into pre-labeled bags and it was not always clear when substituted items had been used. I found myself spending time searching for
items.

Exciting choices
We have really enjoyed Feast. Their recipes are a bit more complex than other meal prep services, but the quality and range is far superior. I love how authentic all the ingredients are. And I particularly enjoy when I earn points and get the odd freebie.

Some fresh ingredients ropey, but good customer service crediting £5 to account. Definitely felt like a treat rather than something I'd manage regularly - a lot of pans and instructions, and some short best by dates so had to get cooking! The meals were tasty and generous though, so felt like a good weekend option. Just a bit of pressure if busy midweek. I would order if e.g. expecting guests and wanting to do something different
