Genuinely wish I could give this company 0 star. There is nothing fast about fast pass!
Booked an intensive driving course for my son In September and was advised he would start in November, however it was one issue after another - lack of instructors meant they weren't able to actually provide the course we had originally booked. It was then moved to January. We then received a call in December to advise that yet again they weren't able to assign an instructor and the intensive course and test date for January then had to be cancelled - even though in November I was assured that it was set in stone and there would be no further issues!
When asked when they would likely be able to deliver the services they advertise all we had was a non committed response of 'possibly sometime in February, but we aren't sure!' The communication with this company is terrible and they don't explain the process very well.
We have now cancelled this course and booked elsewhere which was no stress no hassles and received the dates of lessons and the test all booked with confirmation within minutes and £400 cheaper than we were originally paying with fast pass!
Really wouldn't bother wasting your time dealing with their customer service team! We were left with one very disappointed 17 year old!
They even tried to pull the Covid card and blaming the issues on Covid!
I wish I had read other reviews on here before booking however as they are 3rd party to A2Z of motoring swansea I thought it would be reputable.

Owner was extremely rude and aggressive when I called to enquire about lessons my son was told he was no longer getting I have never been met with this hostility and condescending behaviour towards a client from an owner absolutely unacceptable and disappointing as could not fault the instructor one bit
Let down 3 weeks before course and test was due for sons 18th birthday present!
Booked a fastpass for my son with 15 hours driving and test at the end back in April. Earliest they could do it was wc 23 sept….. but said ok as this was the week after I was buying my son a car for his 18th Birthday. Paid £258 deposit….. they called me today, 3 and a half weeks before his Birthday, to say this was now cancelled and earliest they could do was now early next year….. absolutely gutted for my son! Absolute disgrace…. Stay away from this company if you want to avoid disappointment.

Answered a block of questions on website and it showed me a price and commencement date, great! So, I reserved my 40-hour course, then called to pay the deposit. I was then informed that they cannot provide the lessons in my area, the nearest place that they could provide them is over 80 miles away!
If you cannot provide then do not advertise! Simple!

I would not hesitate to recommend Passfast to anyone looking for an intensive driving course. My experience was positive from start to finish. Jim was so helpful and worked around my tight schedule. My instructor, Carol, was amazing. She was so calm and patient and put me at ease immediately. She truly cares about her pupils and wants you to pass. Thank you so much Carol! I truly could not have passed without your help.

I booked an intensive course for my 3 children with fastpass. Jim was very polite and helpful during booking, he managed to book the dates which suited my children. Carol is an amazing instructor, with great experience, all my children passed at first time.
I am very thankful to Carol picking and drop at railway station. I highly recommend fastpass intensive course!

Do not go with this company
Do not go with this company, they are disgusting and will rip you off by not refunding for lessons where their instructor fails to turn up. I was told they would check and they would put the money to obtaining another test whenever we are ready to do another one. But when you are ready they tell you no apparently my son had all of his hours so they are keeping it all. Nevermind that after having 36.5 hours out of the 40 I paid for he couldn't even get off the test centre forecourt because he was so under prepared where I think his instructor just had a kip instead of teaching but thats nothing to do with Fastpass who took £1,303 for the privilege and puts the phone down as they know they re wrong.

Paid for a 30hour intensive course
My instructor would pick me up I would drive to pease pottage services everyday!
Within a hour was having a coffee break and getting himself food! Should have been driving for a least 5 hours a day more like 2half- 3 but that was with continuous breaks, spent 20 minutes in the toilet at one point!
He’s car was just the worst broken seat!
Duck tape over the wing mirror and massive bit on back of the car!
Definitely didn’t get my 30 hours didn’t drive anywhere else’s or cover any test routes! and what’s worst is I wasn’t ready for my test he knew I wasn’t and still said to go ahead! Of course failed!

I’m beginning to think this driving lessons company is a scam .Booked up for 15 lessons for my daughter and paid £250 deposit .It’s been over 6 weeks now and so far heard nothing about getting the driving lessons started .She took a theory test but failed it .Phoned up company to ask why we hadn’t started driving lessons yet and they replied saying that my daughter had to pass the theory test first .I asked for a refund and they said they could only give £100 of the £250 deposit .I’m thinking of taking this further with my legal eagles .

So wish read this page before splashing out nearly 1.2k. This company only wants your money today my partner completed her 30 hours intensive course. Teaching was fair however was slightly alarmed at how old the training car was but didnt think to much about it till today. She attended her test and car refused to start. Eventually tester cancelled test as car malfunction.
Got onto the company who twice refused or tried to end call to talk to me. All I wanted was either to be compensated for test cost and the hour for the test. They then answered my email whilst conferring with my partner and teacher who wasnt even in the car at the time to pick at things that my partner could of been at fault even though test report stated car issue. They tried to blame her with she didnt engage steering lock and did press peddles when starting car. I'm sorry if she hadn't been shown that in 28hours of driving there is an issue.
I've finally recieved an email stating they are wasting there hands clean as it was not their fault so for me it looks like obudsman and then on to court. Do yourself a favour stay away I know driving still in high demand but not to even get chance to pass or fail after paying so much is much worse.
DO NOT USE - this company are dishonest and provide zero customer care or protection!
All in all this has been a terrible experience. It was incredibly tough to get lessons booked through FastPass and I had to take time off of work to facilitate this. We finally got to the lessons and the instructor turned up in car with a broken clutch. Not ideal when you're trying to learn. I spent the first two days in a car without a clutch. On the Monday (my test was on Thursday) he cancelled 20 mins before the start of the lesson as he needed to get his clutch fixed. We agreed to split that day's hours across the remaining days and the next day he cancelled the rest of the course owing to a family medical emergency (fair enough). The company have since then refused to give me a full refund, tried to withhold their £186 fee as they claim 8 hours of lessons in a broken car is them providing the course I paid for, not offered me a new instructor and now they have lied to my credit card company when I tried to reclaim the money.
I've finished the best part of £1000 down, having not had a chance to take my test, lost out on a week's holiday and lost the fee paid for my test. Could FastPass care? Not a bit as they have my money.
Realistic Expectations
I am a realist, we started this process with fastPass a long time ago, booking 2 members of staff. They kept me informed and our 1st staff member completed the intensive course and passed last week. The DVLA cancelled the test date for our 2nd course, but we have a new course booked for August. Understand that this industry is under a great deal of pressure because of the Pandemic, in our area in Brighton you just cant get driving lessons because of the backlog. As long as you understand that the process is not quick and could take a good few months then this is a great company, and our 1st candidate passed 1st time...1 more to go!
DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE
I started with this service this year and their instructor was awful. He taught me the old driving curriculum, was late to every lesson and spent 30 minutes in the toilet every lesson. When I complained they simply sent me a link to report him to DVSA, offered me no refund (a loss of £1.2k!!!) and we’re entirely unhelpful. I now have to wait months for a new test date and have to pay extra money for a new instructor to un learn bad habits. Do not use this service!!
No transparency
I paid a deposit for 30 lessons for my son as he had waited 6 months to get his licence and was told that immediately he passed his theory they would identify a driving instructor and book the test. They were really helpful on the theory booking and when he passed we got in touch immediately on the Thursday to be told that they would take a few days to find a driving instructor and that tests were not available in my area for the next few months, I was quite disappointed. Rang on the Monday to be told that there was no note on my sons account from the Thursday call so no one had been looking and it could be up to four weeks before they found one. They did identify one of their own driving instructors but it would be May before he could start and still there wouldn't be a test date, so the options were do the lessons and then wait until a test became available or wait to have the lessons when a test became available. I did agree initially to booking the driving instructor but when I went away and had a think It was going to be ridiculous to either have to wait for lessons or have a big gap between lessons and the test. I was advised I could pay £25 or £15 depending on who I spoke to, for them to look for a test cancellation. They tie up the deposit so no return even though they are not transparent about no test avialability in the area when you first ring to book. I would think carefully and explore all options before paying a deposit in case they are not able to fulfill their obligations. I have booked an independent driving instructor who will do weekly lessons and book the test asap.
Booked 10 hours intensive lessons
Booked 10 hours intensive lessons. Had lots of lessons last year but couldn’t continue for financial reasons however have had my own car since dec and have been able to drive it with my partner regularly. Thought 10 hours would be enough so I could just be sure I knew what was needed for test. Instructor Ray Goode picked my up 4 days before test and immediately said 10 hours isn’t enough to be able to pass test. Let that go. End of 3 hour lesson on 2nd day (Monday) his words were I won’t be taking you for your test as I think you will fail as you don’t know the test area enough and I only take people who I think will defo pass
I was fuming!! Contact office and tbf the girls were fab but they sided with Ray saying it’s within his right to refuse to take a learner on test. I could continue with further lessons with him and tell DVSA I had covid so I may be able to get refund; partial refund of the remaining hours (4) or take test in my own car
Lucky I have my own car and guess what?! I passed with 2 minors
Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone as instructors are self employed and it certainly felt like ray didn’t want to take me for my test so he could make more money from me and no guarantee that I would get refund from DVSA as it inside 72 hours
Oh and only got 2 hours refunded !

This company was brilliant sorting my test and lessons out, had a really good instructor William and got me ready on a 15 hour intensive course, have had private driving before hand tho, and I passed. Defo recommend.
Led on for months to then be told they struggle with my area.
Booked an intensive in September and had the test in for January 12th, took them months of looking for instructors to let me know that they couldn't find anyone within an hour of me and don't work with many people from my area. Would of been ideal to have been told this from the beginning before paying my deposit and waiting for months, as I've just wasted almost half a year for no result at all. Very frustrating, but Sophie and Lisa that I spoke to on the phone were pleasant.
