Arnel Quickly and easily resolved the issue

I was locked out of my email after upgrading my iphone. I called Fasthosts and got through to Jinky, who was very kind and helpful indeed. She resolved my technical issues and waited patiently on the phone whilst guiding me through the process of changing my password and updating my account.

Prompt fix to get me in to my wordpress admin area after not being able to access through the normal route. Engineers working on the issue but I was able to get in and make my amends safely.

I've been with Fasthosts for some 15 years hosting a number of websites. I'm shortly retiring and wanted to close down my hosting in an organised manner which included transferring some aspects to a family member.
I've had several emails with support across a fortnight or so narrowing down the plan. All responses have been prompt and moved me forward.
The final closing off process is now complete and scheduled for end of this month. Thank you to Andrea in that dept.
Very pleasingly there were no contractual discussions around exiting. It was simple and just marked to end this month by Andrea and I have instructions on how to migrate the final piece across to my relative.

James was incredibly patient, helpful, and reassuring throughout the process. Even though I was deactivating my domain account, he gracefully introduced the prospect of returning as a customer in the future without ever being pushy or aggressive. It was a refreshing experience, and his professionalism made a great impression.

Always quick to get the call dealt with by a human. In this case the human was Marvin who was very technically competent. He knew was the technical issue was and resolved it easily.
