Our backgarden was falling apart, we had gravel disappearing and weeds poking through, our fences were nearing collapse due to the strong storms earlier in the year, the slabs were all uneven, and the lawn had become unmaintainable. Fanghorn came in to have a look, they were very accommodating and understood what we had wanted. They set expectations quite well about when they could send a quote and when they could likely start the work. We found the quote and the details included quite reasonable.

Anyway when the work started it was quite interesting observing. They would coordinate among themselves, ordering what materials they need and getting trash taken away. We didn't have to do anything, they took care of it all. It was like watching a well oiled machine.

They'd tell us what they were up to, they'd ask us questions about our preferences when needed, and when we made a change to one of the plans they were understanding and accommodated us. The best part in all this for me was that after the work they would clean up after themselves. Really polite and professional. These qualities were such stress reducers for us, I genuinely appreciated it.

It took about two weeks and we were so pleased about the end result. We've spent a lot of time staring at the garden, the wall and the paving looks good, the area looks solid and stable unlike before. It's like our garden has been reset and we can actually start using it. Looking at the amount of work they put in, the cost was absolutely worth it and very reasonable.

I had these guys lay a couple of slabs in the garden for me and they did a very nice job. They were punctual, efficient and polite and I am very happy with the work.

I used Fangorn Landscapes to construct a new drive way, the work was outstanding from start to finish while keeping me informed and offering recommendations to make sure I was happy along the way. I could not be more pleased with the finished job and overall outcome. It looks stunning and has transformed the front of my house.

I would like to thank the team and special thanks to Courtney and Nic for all their hard work professionalism and attention to detail. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for future projects and can't recommend them highly enough.

In response to the below from Fangorn - The rear patio was 8 years ago but the edging came loose within 6 months which you did repair a couple of times. It's now completely loose and I first contacted you to re-do the grouting 3 years ago. The wall installation was done in December 2017 and the wall became loose within a few months later and you came to repair that. A bricklayer has since informed me that you used too much sand in the mortar mix (to save money) so my complaint about 'wrong materials' stands especially when you include the rear patio grout that started crumbling soon after installation. Vandalism? - that's creative for leafy Old Malden. I have no complaint about the 'hard materials' from Marshalls. My main complaint is about the lack of aftercare. Of course I have been trying to 'seek your advice' and establish an 'agreed way forward' to remedy the situation but despite numerous attempts to do so via phone, e mail and WhatsApp I've had ZERO response (much like the review previous to mine).

We had a garden patio laid in 2017, within a yeah we had loose slabs, after attempting to get someone to come and fix it for over 2 years we gave up. Calls were not answered or was told we would get a call back and never did. We were very happy with the patio but the issues we have had since have been shocking from the company.

Excellent work. The lady & the gentlemen in the team installed a new raised pathway in my back garden with minimum disruption and excellent results. This is the third time I've hired Paul/Fangorn to undertake work for me and I've always been very happy with the work done, which has been efficient & tidy and always meets the quote given.

Fangorn's completed a project for us this summer and we would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaping company. We had our front garden landscaped and a new area of patio installed in the back, along with some raised beds built to enhance the final look. From the first day the project started the team could not have been more helpful. Providing advice, suggestions and consulting us as things progressed. Every person we encountered was professional and courteous and went out of their way to ensure we were happy with things. Even a couple of last minute additional requests were undertaken with a smile. Choosing a company to use can be daunting but we certainly made the right choice!

Fangorn recently completed a large project for us, landscaping both our front driveway and back garden. From start to finish of the project we couldn’t be happier and more impressed with them.

From the outset they were very professional - Jack turned up promptly when he said he would to provide a quote and gave us sensible, useful advice and was realistic about timescales. We were on a fairly tight budget, and were convinced that they would end up more expensive than some of the other, less professional, companies that came round to quote, so we were delighted when their quote came back and was the best value one of the lot!

They started the work on time and the whole team were friendly, tidy and worked so hard. All their work is to a really high standard, with no shortcuts. We are so so happy with the end result and can’t thank them enough!

After the main work was finished, there were a couple of extra jobs we asked them to do and these were also completed promptly. Thanks to Jay in the office for responding so quickly to emails and always being helpful.

Overall, we would highly recommend Fangorn to anyone in need of a reliable, friendly and reasonable landscaping service. We would have no hesitation in using them again in the future. Thanks so much to Jack, Jay and the whole team!

I LOVE the completed project. New front garden path leading through to side/back of house where a two level brand new patio has been laid. All done using brown sandstone. It looks absolutely fab. I’ve wanted to have this done for many years and once I discussed the project with Paul and then put my trust in Jack and team from Fangorn, I’ve not been disappointed. Great team, excellent communication from start to finish. I truly would not hesitate to recommend them.

New patio and landscaping - I only have positive comments for the service and job that has been completed. Very rarely these days am I given a projected start date and it's been met, or a job has not been abandoned half way through and returned to a week later. Jack, Matt and all the guys were polite, friendly, tidy and ever so respectful of our new house. In addition they completed everything exactly to our specifications. They also have Jay in the office who has made the whole experience easy and painless from day one.
I would wholeheartedly recommend!

Appointment for a quotation was nearly a month in advance as they were "really busy" - which is fine - but then they did not show up until 9.30pm even after I told them not to bother any more. They insisted on having a look around and would follow up the next day but haven't heard a word from them since. Hate to think what would happen after sale.

My neighbour and I recently had our individual driveways and our shared driveway re-paved by Fangorn. And we each had a new patio laid in our back gardens so the team essentially had multiple clients for one job! I couldn’t be happier with the results. We get comments from neighbours all the time about how great the drive looks and we love our new space for relaxing in the garden. The team were no problem to have around, super polite and always helpful (especially when lifting the baby’s pram over the rubble for me!). They were great at keeping us informed and talking through different options during the process, giving us their recommendations. We have already booked them in to replace our fence later in the year!

Very friendly helpful and professional company. Jack, Paul, and their team were very professional, courteous, and responsive. They laid a Marshalls patio and surrounding retaining wall for us, which was a high-quality job, and we're pleased with the results. All the team were friendly and engaging so minor problems could be resolved with them quickly and directly. Would recommend them.

Not sure what to say about the service other than - no service at all. My last contact with the Company was on 11 February 2021 to get an updated quote and agree for the work to be done in April.
Since the start of April I tried without success to get in touch with the Company to confirm when they will start with the work.
No answer on land line. No answer on mobile number. No response to text messages. No response on messages sent through the website.
I was looking forward to using their services as they were so professional when they came out to do the quote but sadly they just disappeared.

Can definitely recommend this company. They have just completed my elderly mums driveway..... superb job.... mum was kept updated on schedules wonderful staff...cannot thank them enough.

Paul and his workers have carried out works in my last garden in Epsom and have now carried out works including building a shed in my new garden in Ashtead. They are a lovely bunch of people and I am very pleased with the work they have carried out. They will be doing more work for me this year.
