Very very impressed. Ordered my plates yesterday (4th Sept) and they arrived today, 5th September.

I found this site through a car forum, what attracted me was that I didn’t have to show documentation, the only reason for that is I’m still waiting for my V750 from the DVLA.

Cheaper than Halfords even with next day delivery, really nice quality and came with screws and tape.. very happy with the service!

Ordered a rear trailer plate (8"x11") after 12pm on Monday, received a confirmation email shortly afterwards, a dispatch confirmation on Tuesday, and the plate arrived Wednesday morning. Plate is excellent quality and exactly as I ordered, matching UK legal specification (supplier's postcode, font, etc) and is exactly as I ordered it and I didn't need to provide the V5C. Would happily use again.

Ordered 2 sets of plates...had some extra text added to bottom with vehicle model...was surprised and delighted when this was done using manufactures own font, model logo etc. Delivery on a Sunday less than 48hrs after order placed. Great job Fancyplates!

They don’t send same day as claimed. As my order was urgent and I hadn’t received a dispatch notification as promised in the order confirmation, I cancelled by email after 3 days (phone calls go unanswered). Plates turned up anyway after a week, too late for my purposes - turns out they were posted late on day 4, but I never did receive dispatch confirmation. No response to emails or answerphone message requesting refund

I read these reviews a few days ago when I got no response from fancy plates and I thought my money was gone. Was delighted to come home today, 4 days since ordering to find my plates in the post box. Exactly what I ordered, well packaged with tape and screws. Fear not! Thanks Fancyplates

No response to emails, no communication, no plates but taken my money.

Been using Fancyplates for many years. Think they are based in Ireland. Always receive plates within a couple of days. Just received some repo dealer plates with the correct pre 2001 font and ford ovals just like originals from Jan 2001. Brilliant

They never answer emails or the telephone but they certainly like to take the money!

I have had multiple sets of legal plates from Fancyplates over the years, orders have always been straight forward without a problem, high quality product, delivery fast and confirmation emails received promptly. Which is why I will always give them 5 stars.

This time however, a small hiccup. After using Google Pay, something went wrong, I had no confirmation of the order by email yet the money had been sent. I couldn't get in touch by the contact form online or by the telephone, but thankfully I had a contact email which is the same as the one here on trustpilot (next to the tick box when writing a review). This led me to Michael, who was very helpful in updating me on the situation, the plates are on their way! I have no doubt they will be as good quality as the ones I ordered and received in the past.

I hope this feedback is both helpful to those thinking of purchasing and fancyplates themselves.

Ignore the negative comments, I ordered 5 separate plates, show and legal, they were here in less than a week, including screw and self adhesive fixings. Great quality, well packaged, I will use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to you too.

Hi, please see my review below dated April 2020...and so I feel moved to dispel the other negative comments, as once again, I have received way above and beyond service, particularly on email from "Michael", without exception all my detailed requests were catered for, and the quality is superb too, plus they even included the fixes still (both self adhesive and fixed screws & caps). If you want your order in 48hrs don’t buy from FancyPlates. After 4 days I telephoned and was lucky enough to speak to someone who told me the package was on its way, it didn’t arrive for another 6 days, that’s 10 days total. When the package did finally arrive the post mark showed it had been posted a couple of days before I received it, in other words the person I spoke to hadn’t got a clue. I called a total of 14 times and emailed once with no response. In hindsight I wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order, I’ll use someone else next time.

Ordered a set of period-correct dealer plates (early 1990s) for my Peugeot 205, arrived within a few days from placing order and I am blown away with the quality and overall look.

Have to correct my previous review, Fancy Plates got back to me and resupplied correct number plates. 4 stars just as response was slow.

Ordered PLAIN plates, plates came with company name at the bottom......initially I was disappointed but just accepted them without complaint. However, the company saw my original review and swiftly rectified the order providing me with the plain plates ordered with next day delivery. Very happy with the customer service and would use again for a high quality finish number plate.

The number plate I ordered came very fast through the post. 🏎📮 It looks great!! 😀 I asked for a custom sized number plate to fit the front of my mum’s golf buggy and it is perfect! Happy happy happy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered from these before so I am a returning customer. I've always had a positive experience with them and the plates turn up as requested no issues. The only quibble I have is it took them 6 days to get my order to me. 4 days if you take weekend days out. Their website says order's are next day delivery if ordered by a certain time. I didn't mind the wait but ideally orders placed on Thursday night should of been dispatched Friday/Monday surely?

Never had to contact them so I cannot verify how good/bad their communication is but then as said I've never had to contact them as the service has always been excellent.
