it turned old poloroids into sharp image photos.

This by far is a great software when enhancing a poor quality image. Photoshop has the same features as far as optimizing & colorizing black & white images but Face26 is far better in colorizing multiple groups of people in a photo than Photoshop.

I really like this program. It leaves faces very realistic.

Amazing. I have been struggling to repair an old photo (taken in a photo booth) of my son in laws grandfather. I was so grainy and colors were horrible. Ran through your program and voila like new. Thank you.

Love what this did to a photo of my mom and dad from back around 1940's. Its a old photo of them when my dad was in WWll.

Yes, it makes a nice looking face out of pixel garbage, but there is no fidelity to reality, nor can there be. When I compare an enhanced face from a poor photo using this software to the same person from a quality photo there are major differences. An old boss of mine called this making chicken salad out of chicken crap.

At first look, the colorizing is amazing. But upon closer examination, there can be many areas that are "incorrect" and there appears to be no way to "correct" them.

Update: The Enhance function is incredibly good [I didn't use it on the first colorizing try]. It made the colorizing come out better, and by more closely examining the final options (from what I learned the first time), I made a better choice for the final version, and I was extremely pleased with the result. I will probably sign up for a larger paid package sometime soon when I feel ready to dive into more of the older damaged and B&W photos in my collection. One suggestion: The colorizing preview option thumbnails should be significantly larger to scrutinize the differences and make the best final choice.

This program is incredible. I would not have believed a blurred picture could be sharpened and enhanced that much. I know it's going to be even more incredible when I learn how to use all the features.

A really fast way to achieve good results, enhancing the picture, colorizing, face zoom. All great, BUT while constructing the face the developers should make the adjusting of the shape of the eyes or lips possible. Color of eyes should be made adjustable too in order to avoid two eyes with two different colors.
