Booking cancelled at last minute by hotel
I had booked a room for 3 persons in their hotel Gokul lodge in khadak vasla Pune and made advance of rs 500. A day before our travel I called them up to reconfirm the arrangements. They told me to my shock that the booking will have to be cancelled due to some dispute between the building owner and the franchise. They never informed of their own. I am finding hard to get a reasonable rate room in other hotels since most are fully booked due to the weekend. This is the worst treatment to a customer.

PATHETIC SERVICE
I had terrible experience with fabhotels when I booked a stay at turning point hotel in Frazer Town through their platform, the booking was confirmed and payment was made in advance
However when my guest arrived at the hotel
The management clearly stated that no booking had made under our name they also mentioned since the payment was made through a third party (fabhotels) we should contact them directly and no refund could be provided by the hotel
To make matter worse this happened at 11:00 PM we were stranded and the Fabhotel team was completely unreachable after trying to connect with them countless times, few times the call went through the representatives kept forwarding the call and disconnecting without providing any help or resolution
In the end we were forced to look for another hotel in the middle of the night, extremely stressful and unprofessional this entire experience felt fraudulent and irresponsible
DO NOY TRUST Fabhotels they take your money fail to deliver your booking and vanish when you need support the most

I’ve never had such a terrible experience in my life.
I had a family gathering in Bangalore, so I booked a hotel in Indra Nagar over the phone. I clearly mentioned that I needed an early morning check-in (around 6 a.m.), as I was arriving in Bangalore with my family after a long overnight journey. The customer service representative (CSR) informed me that early check-in would incur additional charges, which I agreed to pay. After making the initial payment, I received the booking confirmation, which showed the check-in time as 12 noon.
Concerned, I called them again. This time, they told me that the early check-in request had already been raised with the hotel, so I didn’t need to worry.
However, on the day of arrival, I reached the hotel at 5:50 a.m. When I gave the front desk my booking reference, the staff told me the hotel was fully booked and that they hadn’t received any request for early check-in. I was shocked. I called the CSR again and explained everything. The CSR then asked me to hand the phone to the front desk staff. After speaking with them, the CSR informed me that no rooms were available and admitted that although they had raised the request, it had somehow failed.
I was furious—my son was literally falling asleep on the sofa in the reception area. The CSR then said, “Don’t worry, sir, I will find another hotel for you,” and asked me to wait. After about 10 minutes, they arranged a room at a different hotel, located a bit farther away from Indra Nagar.
I had no other option, but before accepting the new hotel, I specifically asked the CSR about the standard of the hotel. He assured me that the new hotel offered the same standards and facilities as the original one I had booked.
After waiting another 20 minutes, I got a cab and reached the new hotel. But by the time I arrived, they had already removed my booking reference from their system, so I couldn’t even reach the CSR using the original booking number.
To make matters worse, the new hotel was awful—completely substandard. I immediately checked the pricing online and found that this hotel was around ₹1300 cheaper than the one I originally booked.
I called the customer service again, explained everything from the beginning, and requested a cancellation due to the poor quality of the new hotel. They put me on hold and then disconnected the call. I tried calling four more times, and each time the call was either disconnected, or I was put on hold indefinitely.
On the fifth attempt, I specifically requested, “Please don’t disconnect the call after I explain everything,” and the CSR agreed. After explaining everything once again, I requested to cancel the booking. The CSR told me they couldn’t cancel it because I had accepted the new hotel. I explained that I only accepted it because they had assured me the standards were the same, which was clearly not the case.
Finally, the CSR said they would raise a ticket for the cancellation and that the initial charges would be refunded soon. However, it has now been nearly 20 days, and no action has been taken. I’ve called twice since, but still no resolution.

I booked FabExpress Dolphin International near IGI Airport, Delhi for 15th-16th July, with a late check-in (after 11 PM) as we were traveling from Rajasthan and had an early morning flight. What we experienced was nothing short of a nightmare.
The rooms were filthy, stinking, and completely unhygienic – it was impossible to stay there even for 5 minutes. Dust, stains, and a foul smell greeted us the moment we opened the door. I had booked 2 rooms for my elderly parents and my brother’s family, but we had to leave immediately and scramble for alternative arrangements late at night.
To make things worse, the hotel staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. They refused to return our ID documents unless we paid ₹500 – which felt like nothing short of extortion.
This was by far the worst hotel experience of our lives. FabHotels should be ashamed of associating with such a property. I will never book a FabHotel again and strongly advise others to stay away if you care about your safety and comfort.

This was one of the most horrible hotel experiences of my life. FabHotels Marble Arch is a complete disaster. The staff is extremely rude, untrained, and speaks in a disrespectful manner — they clearly don’t care about guests. The rooms are tiny, dirty, and completely unhygienic. Nothing like the photos shown on booking websites like MakeMyTrip — those pictures are completely fake and misleading.
The bedding was stained, the washroom smelled terrible, and the basic amenities were either broken or missing. It felt like a cheap roadside lodge, not a hotel. I strongly urge everyone NOT to waste your money here — this place is a total scam under the name of FabHotels.
FabHotels should seriously look into this property — it’s ruining their reputation. For anyone reading this: Stay away from FabHotels Marble Arch. You will regret it.

The dirtiest hotel I have stayed at, ever! Not only was it unclean, the photos online did not represent the room. The room water was unsealed and had clearly been refilled. The night porter' attitude was appalling. Do not stay here.

NEVER STAY HERE. This was complete bullshit. My boyfriend (who is an Indian citizen) booked 3 rooms at this hotel (The Olive Inn, Kolkata) and checked in and payed for three rooms at check in. When my family and me landed after travelling 24 hours to Kolkata, we werent allowed to stay at this hotel because we are internationals. We arrived at 03:30 am, We made many calls to the headquarters trying to find a resolution but nothing was resolved. At 05:00am we were still not given any solution and we were forced to stay awake. We have not slept that night.. we never even saw the room. My family consists of three seniors and they were forced to stay up.
Till this day there hasnt been any solution offered. When you call they promise to send a refund email, they do not do that. When you email they ignore you or say theres nothing they can do.
This is one big scam. We never saw our money back. Its been two months.

We booked a room through Fab on 8th December and paid an advance of ₹925/- for a room at Southgate hotel in Thiruvananthapuram for 6 and 7th January (2 nights stay). But when we reached the hotel we were informed that they have cancelled the contract with Fab and the booking is not valid. We are senior citizens ( 75 years) and we were left in the lurch. Somehow we found a hotel room with great difficulty. On returning back we cantacted Fab and informed them about our ordeals and asked for the refund. Every week I contact them and they the same standard reply that I would get the amount within 5-7 working days. It is 1 and half months and I am yet to get the refund.

I had booked a hotel in Noida and paid advance too and when i reach the hotel at 10 pm for checkin the hotel said there are no rooms and they cannot checkme in..i tried calling the fab customer support but the lines were not connecting ..finally connected with them and customer support person after listening to me, put me on hold and never came back for a long time ..eventually i had to walkout and find a new place for residence which was quite difficult due to the ongoing marriage season in Delhi. For once also i never got a call back from their customer support team to sort out the problem. In short pathetic customer service and absolutely unreliable. If you want peace of mind skip this company. They dont darn care about their customers ..one more aggregator who perhaps wants to make money on valuation .not real value and customer retention.
AVOID! Beware of hidden policies!
AVOID PLEASE! They lure you into paying in advance with discount because some of their hotels have hidden policies. Yes, it is stated all the way down the hotel policy that "only Indian nationals allowed". They should ask for nationality. I emailed them to point out the discrepancy. They kindly replied to me only to say it was mentioned... Not helpful. I called and canceled immediately after booking, although it was less than 24h until checkin. Any serious and genuine company would aknowledge this and give a full refund, regardless of policies. Anyone in hotel business must put customer satisfaction first. This includes booking and payment process. I did not do anything that caused any loss on the hotels or fabHotels side and tried my best to correct the "mistake" of booking as foreigner. Take Uber for example, they excuse any such unintentional misunderstanding. Not just citing their policies. And they have good reviews, fabHotels does not. Think about it please.
FabHotel is Fraud
I called FabHotel reservation line on 28th August 2024 and after discussing briefly for one hour with the representative I booked FabHotel Udhna Inn, a deluxe room for 2 adults with an extra mattress included in the price quoted total of Rs. 22,500 where check-in was 15th October until 24th October. After making the advance payment of Rs. 6,750, my balance amount remaining was Rs. 15,750.
Now, on October 04th, 2024 I got a WhatsApp message from FabHotel representative, stating my new hotel details like name, address and few images. FabHotel changed my hotel reservation from FabHotel Udhna Inn deluxe room to FabHotel Nidhivan a standard room without my consent or any conversation with me.
Obviously, I wasn’t happy with them changing my hotel reservation without my consent or any conversation to a completely different address in the same city. Hence, I called FabHotel person who messaged me on WhatsApp informing me about the changed hotel, on 07th October 3-4 times, no response and instead he disconnected my call. I messaged him and left several voice notes. He responded stating they are very busy and cannot attend my call and they will resolve my issue. At the same time, I tried reaching directly the person who assisted me for booking the hotel room and even she didn’t pick up my call and hence I messaged her the same. She didn’t reply to my messages at all even after reading them. Her name is Pooja Sinha.
I didn’t receive any call, message or email from any of the representatives of FabHotel. Hence, I called both the representatives again on 09th October. Still, no one received my calls and hence I messaged them both. One of the representatives messaged me back stating that he will surely resolve my issue that day itself and Pooja replied to me that she will check and let me know.
Again, no call, message or email from any of the representatives. I messaged and called again to both of them on 10th October. No one received my call but one of the representatives just stated me in the message that he will be calling me in half an hour. Still, no call or message from him.
Now, I called the FabHotel main line on 13th October and explained them everything. They first told me that FabHotel Udhna Inn was temporarily closed due to which they transferred me to FabHotel Nidhivan. And, they told me if they want me to check about the cost and extra mattress in FabHotel Nidhivan I need to speak to Pooja Sinha with whom I had done reservation. I explained him that I tried contacting her several times but she is not responding. The representative told me that he will schedule a call back for her to call me but I still didn’t receive any call from anyone.
I was really frustrated with FabHotel service but didn’t have any option left and had to just stay at the hotel where they changed my reservation to. Now on 15th October, I reached FabHotel Nidhivan in the evening around 6:30pm. The reception person tells me that there is no room available. I explained him that I have already done the advance payment. He tells me that I didn’t do the reservation with him directly. I told him though I didn’t do the reservation from him directly but still I didn’t do the reservation with any third party like Expedia, Booking.com etc, I did the reservation directly with FabHotel chain. Still, he told me the same thing that there was no room availability.
Now, I called those both representatives again sitting at the reception area and both of them didn’t receive my calls. I called the FabHotel main line. I explained the situation and he kept me on hold for some time. He then just disconnected the call on me. I again called FabHotel main line, someone else picked up and I had to explain the whole situation again and he just kept me on hold. After a long time, he states to me to give the phone to the reception person. The person at the reception first didn’t want to talk to him. After me talking to him, he then was ready to speak to the representative on my phone. After several ongoing conversation, the representative from FabHotel tells me that there is no room available at FabHotel Nidhivan and hence they are transferring me to a new Hotel named FabExpress Silk and they confirmed at this new hotel that there is room availability.
Now, here the person at the reception first was unaware about any single thing. He told me he didn’t receive any call nor confirmation from any of the FabHotel representative about me coming there. But, still fortunately there was only one room left at FabExpress Silk which he offered me. Now, I did the remaining payment and checked-in at the hotel.
Never ever stay in any of the Fab hotels
Never ever stay in any of the Fab hotels. I recently booked my hotel stay in Hyderabad for a good luxury room. They initially moved me to another hotel by saying that it will a same type of room. When I reached the hotel, it was a complete low grade room. After calling customer are they told me to move to another Fab hotel. When I reached the second Fab hotel, the receptionist said that there was no rooms available. I again called the Fab hotel and asked them to provide hotel with confirmed room. Then customer representative told that he confirmed from the area manager and there are two rooms available in another fab hotel. When I reached the 3rd Fab hotel, again the receptionist said that there are no rooms. I have paid for my stay in total a month before and the Fab hotel treated me like this. I spent more than 1500 rupees rushing from one Fab hotel to another. I was traveling with my family(with two kids) and I spent 4 hours outside with my kids searching for a hotel.
A big big no for this hotel.
