Apparently, they think it's OK to just stop in the road and make phone calls. Weird and dangerous, which makes me think that they're a terrible company.
I have no idea whether this company is good or bad.
What I do know is that their management culture must be rubbish, because they allow their van drivers just to stop in the middle of the highway in order to make phone calls.
I suppose their Health and Safety policy at least forbids the drivers from actually driving, but coming out of Lymington today, it became clear that one of their drivers had become confused or lost. So he just stopped his van, whipped out his phone, and started chatting on his phone.
Right in the middle of the road.
This is completely nuts. No regard for other road users.
And this was next to the roadworks at Efford, which meant that he backed up the traffic into the traffic-light controlled area.
So, if that is the permitted level of behaviour from their staff, then management must be completely negligent and incompetent.
I wouldn't risk doing business with them.
