Explore Namibia heeft een pracht reis voor ons uitgezet . Afwisselend lodge en campsites. Allen waren charmante locaties. De routebeschrijving en de activiteiten waren duidelijk beschreven. De contacten met Explore Namibia waren prima en snel. De ontvangst in Windhoek was erg aangenaam. Een deskundige reisaanbieder voor jouw rondreis in Namibie.

We spent 4 weeks in Namibia and Botswana. Explore Namibia helped with the definition of the itinerary and did the booking of all lodges and campsites. Everything went fine. They have a SUPERB app and also gave us lots of documentation and maps, which are essencial when there is no network. I recomend by their professionalism.

The 2 of us had a wonderful 4 week self drive experience through Botswana and Namibia in May 2024. These two beautiful countries provide a deeply enriching experience for nature and animal lovers, nurtured by the special people who inhabit their stunning landscapes.

Pierre from Explore Namibia supported us to create our own unique itinerary via phone and zoom calls. This worked well even from Australia while Pierre was based in Spain. He was very customer focused and enthusiastic and listened and responded to any questions or ideas we had. We hired a 4WD from Windhoek with a tent on the roof and spent half the time camping and the other half in beautiful lodges. Pierre arranged all the bookings plus a number of kayaking and hiking activities with the support of Explore Namibia staff based in Namibia. The camp sites and lodges were stunning, the food was wonderful and the support we received from Explore Namibia while we travelled was excellent both in the form of maps, a detailed itinerary available as an app and the welcome induction when we picked up the vehicle. We also received good support when we had questions during the 4 week adventure holiday.

The trip was one of our most memorable and Explore Namibia and Pierre were excellent and highly recommended throughout.

Dit was de tweede keer dat we met explore Namibië hebben gereisd. En als we ooit terug gaan, zou ik weer via explore Namibië boeken. Alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld. Je krijgt een mooie app voor vertrek waar je al je bestemmingen ziet staan met extra informatie over de omgeving e.d.
Ook in Namibië zelf krijg je informatie mee en tips voor onderweg.
Als er iets is, zijn ze goed bereikbaar en denken met je mee.
Een puntje was wat minder, we wisten dat we in de Kgalagadi entree moesten betalen, dit was vooraf vermeld door explore Namibië. Echter het bedrag was 3 keer hoger dan dat explore had genoemd. Die informatie klopte niet.
Verder niets dan lof voor deze fijne organisatie! Ik zou explore ook aan vrienden of familie aanraden mochten zij naar Namibië gaan.

We travelled for 4 weeks with Explore Namibia. Everything was well organised. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do and had Explore Namibia helped customise the trip to our liking. Despite a few hiccups in communication, due to changes in staff, we had a very good experience.

At arrival we had an excellent reception, from the picking up from the airport to collecting the rental car and receiving all the useful information about our trip.

The accommodation and campsites were good, some were outstanding. The car with camping equipment has been reliable, the 9000km we drove across 3 different countries has been problem free.

This has been my 2nd time I have booked a trip with them and would defiantly do this again.

Namibian kiertäminen vuokra-autolla kuulosti yltiöpäiseltä idealta mutta Explore Africa Travelin porukka teki siitä mahdollisen ja helpon. Hyvä auto, hyvät majoitukset ja retket - kaikki toimi. Unohtumaton matka!

Matka täytti tai oikeastaan ylitti kaikki odotukset! Se mitä oli matkatoimiston kanssa etukäteen sovittu, piti paikkansa. Koski se sitten majoituksia, ruokailuja, oheisohjelmia tai mitä muuta tahansa.
Palvelu oli ystävällistä. Maana Namibia oli näkemisen ja kokemisen arvoinen!

Wir waren im April 2024 in Namibia und Botswana auf einer Selbstfahrertour unterwegs. Die Reise haben wir uns von Explore Namibia zusammenstellen und organisieren lassen. Wir hatten vom 1. Kontakt im April 2023 ein super Gefühl, das wir mit Explore Namibia einen kompetenten und zuverlässigen Partner gefunden haben. Silvia war von Anfang an unsere Kontaktperson und hat die Reise nach unseren Wünschen zusammengestellt.
Alles hat hervortragend geklappt. Am Flughafen wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter begrüßt und abgeholt, in Windhoek haben wir von Silvia persönlich die Reiseunterlagen erhalten und noch Tipps für Unterwegs erhalten. Das Fahrzeug haben Asco Car Hire bekommen und es wurde uns bei der Übergabe bis ins Detail erklärt. Das Fahrzeug (Toyota Hilux) war neu und hatte erst 340 km auf dem Tacho.
Am Ende der Reise wurden wir nach Abgabe des Fahrzeuges wieder zum Flughafen gebracht.
Wir können Explore Namibia ohne wenn und aber weiter empfehlen.

Very usefull app before departure. A great and complete travelbook and maps (Namibia and Ethosa) at arrival. Great and complete car. Everyting was organised as promised. One little issue with the fridge was solved in "no time".

Explore Afrika is een absolute aanrader! Wij zijn net thuis van onze fantastische reis naar Namibië. Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld zodat wij enkel maar moesten genieten van deze reis! Als we naar Botswana zouden gaan ooit zullen we zeker voor deze organisatie kiezen!

We did a 25 day self-drive safari with Explore Namibia.They are the most professional travel service I have come across in Southern Africa. The trip was well organised. They were great at emailing before the trip, helping us tweak the itinerary to suit our needs. They provide vouchers for each night’s accommodation and also give you a fantastic guide package when we picked up out 4x4. The vehicle was superb, and all the camping equipment was of high quality. The booklet they provide gives you your daily route, with detailed directions and some interesting facts about the places you visit. There were also some general tips and advice on driving on the roads in Namibia and border crossings. I can not recommend them enough. The best company I have every used in Namibia after nine visits.

For a few years we were planning a family safari with our young daughter, finally decided on Namibia as it is a safe friendly country and easy for a self drive safari. Was recommended explore Namibia by a work colleague and were not disappointed. We planned a 24 day self drive seeing nearly the whole country in September 2023, with in a few weeks the whole route was planned including all the reservations. Could you organize it your self cheaper...probably, if you have loads of free time and the local knowledge of the travel distances. The campsites and lodges were excellent and would recommend them . Even though are incoming flight was delayed by 5 hours the car hire firm ASCO was waiting for us at the airport and the Namibia team at the car hire place, explained the route and gave all the information including a map (navigation is not hard in Namibia, every road is well indicated), and a personalised travel plan in both book and online format. Luckily are trip was problem free apart from a fridge breakdown (no cold beer) which was resolved within 24 hours by the car hire firm.
Namibia is a must see country and would definitely recommend Explore Namibia as a partner. If your worried about traveling with children don´t be, at no time did we feel unsafe. Only tip is it does get very cold at night at this time of year, we bought some extra blankets and a warm pyjama for my daughter, bring a warm coat for fleece for the early mornings.

Namibia ist ein wunderbares, facettenreiches Reiseland und ist auch für alleinreisende Frauen perfekt geeignet. Die Menschen sind stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Natur ist überwältigend und die Tierwelt einmalig - von den Big Fives im Busch bis zu den Little Fives in den Wüstendünen. Die Schotter-und Sandstrassen sind ein Abenteuer für sich.

Explore Africa was really attentive to our needs. Both in the initial planning of our trip as well as when we were forced to modify our plans. Very helpful!
