Beware of Lindblad Expeditions Company

Beware of Lindblad Expeditions Company. They are the worst scammer Company. Thy never paid supplier after providing services to them and this is not a trustworthy organisation. The finance dept has a group of worst staffs. They will not refund or pay for any services and only keep quiet.

These are the worst spammers in the universe!

These are the worst spammers I have ever seen! I made a mistake of subscribing to National Geographic, and they passed my information to Lindbad Expeditions who started spamming me with offensively expensive travel offers which are way outside of my budget limits. I cancelled National Geographic subscription, but this did not stop the spam. I called National Geographic and asked to help, they did something that reduced the frequency of spam catalogues, but they are still coming. The worst, most annoying company in the universe.

SHODDY CUSTOMER SERVICE

In September my sister and I embarked on "Voyage to Great Bear Rainforest: Native Culture & Wildlife in the Land of the Spirit Bear". We like traveling with Lindblad but this ill-fated cruise was plagued with unfortunate incidents to the extent all passengers were offered $1000 cash compensation or $1500 credit on a future expedition. We opted for the credit and were told to expect it within a month. It's now over two months since we returned home, but still no sign of the promised credit. And even more annoying, there is absolutely no response to email requests for assistance on this matter.
But wait! There's more!
Just four days before our departure to Alaska, we were notified of a change of time for the charter flight on the return leg from Canada. That meant we had to change our connecting flight home, and it added $660 to our total airfare. Lindblad notified us it would pay the additional expense, so I submitted the receipt for reimbursement as directed. My multiple email requests have received ZERO COMMUNICATION from Lindblad.(And don't even bother trying to contact them by phone unless you're a glutton for punishment who enjoys spending hours on hold, invariably getting disconnected, and forced to repeat the entire drill.)

Don't expect speedy refund if cancelled

We were scheduled for a National Geographic Expeditions cruise from Dublin through the Scottish Islands to Norway from April 19 to 24, 2022. Lindblad informed us the cruise had been cancelled because of COVID concerns on February 22, 2022. We asked for a refund of the tour costs ($20,000+). Although we have been told it is forthcoming, it is now April 12, 47 days later, and in spite of calls and e-mails to the company, that amount has yet to be refunded to our credit card. The excuse they offered in one e-mail was that "due to the volume of similar requests, the size of our accounting team, and that this process must be done manually, it can take up to 45 days to show up on your statement." What a poor way to run a company.
