After moving to the Netherlands as an American PPL holder, I sought to convert to a European PPL and did not know how to proceed. Other flight schools either did not know how to do this or wouldn't even reply to my e-mails, but EFA researched my options and quickly set up a training schedule at EHSE to prepare for the practical exam, while also ensuring I was prepared for the oral theory exam.

During training, unfortunately the Cessna 152 went out of service, and though the flight school did their best to address this problem, it still was an inconvenience and delayed my license, especially as their 172 also went out of service. However, I understand that in general aviation, these things happen and it's unpredictable sometimes.

Eventually, after finding a suitable replacement aircraft, EFA did the hard work of navigating regulations and the Dutch CAA to find me an examiner and set up my exam. Thanks to the hard work and expertise of flight instructors Bob and Tamas, I have now passed my PPL exam and am a significantly better and safer pilot.

I did my PPL at executive flight. Mainly since it was cheap and they have a lot of flexibility in theory and practical training hours. I was able to do my theory fully remote and do my checkride in the minimal required flight hours which saved me a lot of costs. I got instruction from different instructors who were all very experienced and each had their own teaching style.

I am currently a PPL(A) student with Executive Flight Academy. I just had my first solo flight after 20 flight hours. Starting this adventure has been the best decision I made in decades. Learning to fly has been inspirational, challenging, relaxing, beautiful, fun and miraculous. If I am able to get my license with EFA i will be eternally grateful.
EFA has been great to work with. I can schedule my own lessons and basically choose my instructor (depending on availability). In my experience, all instructors have their own way of teaching, focus and priorities. Sometimes, this takes some getting used to, but allows for great flexibility and tailoring to my own preferences and needs. I have also found that the instructors and teachers are always available (via e-mail) for answering additional questions. They are very knowledgeable and thorough. They are all great people and I actually feel I made some friends.
Every single lesson has included a new experience for me.

I also enjoyed the theory classes. I barely have any people in my daily life that are involved with aviation so it is great to have some peers to share your passion with. The classes provide a nice introduction to the subjects and are a great moment to ask questions. I, however, would prefer that the theory schedule was more spread out and/or more in depth as i need more time to work through the subjects textbooks than the classes themselves take. They pale in scope compared to the actually required level of knowledge. Self study is absolutely essential and, i think, more effective than the theory classes. That said, i have never felt alone nor unable to work through the material. The support I've had is great.

I have, as of yet, only flown from Breda International Airport. I have not been able to use cheaper alternatives as much as i would have liked. For technical reasons I have flown the Cessna 172 instead of the Cessna 152 more than anticipated. For these and similar unforeseen circumstances cost are higher than i thought the would be. I suppose this is normal in aviation. However, i am not convinced the quote on the website is entirely realistic.

Nevertheless it has been an awesome experience and great value.

Owner is very aggressive when receiving feedback and blackmailing other people on the internet, start by looking at his own review page on Google.

After payment, your money is gone… No guarantee of receiving your money back like proper, good functioning flightschools when there is a conflict.

Disgusting work, not even a professional pilot. I suggest to the local authorities to start investigating his license and scammy business.

Pilots need to be warned for this dangerous man. Please check the reviews on Google. They only thing this guy can do is yell and curse which also can be seen on his booking.com website where his company is registered on.

That is the kind of communication what you can expect from this so-called "pilot".

I reached out to Henry because I was interested in getting my PPL. After he took me along for an intro flight, I was hooked.

3 - 4 flight instructors taught me how to fly. Every teacher has their own technique. This gave me the insights of more instructors and gave me the opportunity to become a better pilot.

I enjoyed the flexible flying and the evening theory classes. Within a year or so I graduated and received my pilot license.

Good instructors, nice airfield @ EHSE, happy with scheduling too. I was able to do the hours at my pace. Aircraft overhaul did not cause too much delay as the staff did a great job managing that.

Goede vliegschool met leuke instructeurs, allemaal met hun eigen stijl dus door af te wisselen leer je veel verschillende perspectieven maar met wel dezelfde basis. Als je veel beschikbaar bent kan je ook veel vliegen. Ik heb binnen 2 1/2 maand 34 vlieguur kunnen opbouwen, waarvan 4 solo.
Dus op naar de 45 en dan mijn Checkride.
Ik beveel deze vliegschool aan vooral voor de flexibele planning en omdat het goed te combineren is als je ernaast ook nog een baan of studie hebt. Doordat de theorie uren buiten de standaard daguren vallen.

I have been trained in this ATO from 2015 and successfully acquired my PPL, NQ, IR-CB and ATPL theory on using their modular training system. Individual, flexible and computer based approach used by this company for the training has been enforced by the possibility to fly in different EU countries to be cost effective also. Quality of the training and monitoring of your progress is the priority of their instructors and management. And no excuses in this case. My recommendation is for your way to the sky.

I did my instrument rating, ATPL theory and Flight Instructor rating with Executive Flight Academy. I chose Executive Flight Academy because of their unprecedented flexibility with respect to my availability and the surrounding circumstances, while providing all the services to almost the lowest price in The Netherlands. Executive Flight Academy provided me continuous support in the sense that I never had to wait for a flight lesson, so whenever I asked, I received the flight instruction slot. I really experienced that all my progress depended only on me and not on the availability of aeroplanes or instructors. I also appreciated that I could choose self-study for my theory studies and that my knowledge was tested only by means of progress tests, while instructors were available for consultation if needed. This way I had the possibility to arrange my life and to set my own pace for studying as fast as I could. The fact that Executive Flight is outsourcing some of the trainings, also made me feel secure because if any of their partners providing parts of the training were no longer available, or were influenced by undesirable circumstances, Executive Flight Academy immediately sorted out an alternative solution for me, so I could continue my trainings without interruption and without implying extra costs. It is to be noted that the operating procedures and the rules are strict at this flight school, so the pilot candidate is expected to be disciplined, but these strict rules made me become a better and safer pilot.
