through having an annual check up with the doctors, they asked if i wanted a colorguard kit, to which i stated that i would think about it.

I received one about a month ago, and have not used it. yet I am being emailed every week (blocked the various emails) now however and every day I get a call - I block the number yet it still goes through to answer message.

I spoke to one of their staff via online chat stating they can take my number off their call list - of course this has not happened and endless annoying calls

Please will this company take my number of their call list - beyond bloody annoying

I never contacted them, they came after me with their "Cologuard Scam". They have gleaned data on who is on Medicare and they send them a Cologuard test kit to be completed and sent in. They make it sound like it is pre-approved/order by your insurance and/or doctor. They harass you constantly to do the test. The thing is, if you ask them "What insurance do I have", or "Who is my doctor", they don't have a clue. They're using the test to phish for that data. They end up with private data, and maybe get an insurance payment for the cherry on top. The comments about rude staff are no surprise. They're phishing for your private data and lying to you from day 1. That's pretty rude. Why would the reps be any different?

I received an unsolicited cologaurd test kit. Then started getting multiple texts prompting me to complete this “No cost colon screening”.
After about 10 days I sent it in. I had texts and material within the kit saying it was provided free of charge from a partnership with health partners and exact science.
Shortly after sending in this “free colon screening kit” I received a $681 bill. This company used predatory and deceptive tactics to thousands of people.

This company shares customer's personal information on the dark web. I received an email notice from McAfee on August 13, 2026 that this company breached my identity, not once but twice!

Phone agents have given me misleading/false information about the test and two agents have refused to let me take the phone based survey in order to try to rectify the false information being provided. One agent even told me they would not connect me to the phone survey because it would reflect poorly on her personally. Bad job Exact Sciences! There is no way for a customer to point out that there in false information in the training or script for the phone agents and the agents fear reprisal rather than get rewarded for good information and customer service. Not a good business model.
To top it off I'm still getting called every other day so now 3 agents have given me this same line with misinformation about the test. Pretty good confirmation that this misleading/false information is widely disseminated in the training for phone agents.

The colorguard test is a scam. I took 2 home test that came back positive and 1 that was inconclusive, this was enough to scare myself and the drs being i have family history of colon cancer. Because of the colorguard not giving good results I had to have a colonoscopy that was not covered as preventive costing more money. I had the colonoscopy this morning and I am totally clear not even a palop. The test is very inaccurate amd should be taken off as a test. Money hungry companies that want to use people's health against them. Consider yourself lucky that I dont have the money to sue or make you stop using this product that is very inaccurate. You should be ashamed of yourselves and your company for thinking its ok to use a product so shitty. I wonder how many others have had the same problem. Your a joke a s should be out of business and should have to reimburse every patien that ever had to use one. Bad bad company and product

When my insurance refused to cover a Cologuard test, I called Exact Sciences’ billing department to understand my payment options. The representative I spoke with, Eric, was dismissive, unhelpful, and openly hostile.

When I asked basic questions about the bill, he responded with remarks such as, “I’m not here to educate you about the American health insurance system,” and “You’re barking up the wrong tree.” This was surprising and inappropriate. If someone in the Cologuard billing department isn’t the right person to answer questions about a Cologuard bill, who is?

I ended the call and spoke with a different representative, Priscilla, who was professional and helpful. Within minutes, she explained my situation and suggested I request a prior authorization from my PCP. That was the simple guidance I was calling for in the first place.

Exact Sciences should seriously reevaluate how it trains and supervises its billing staff. Patients calling about medical bills deserve basic professionalism. If Eric’s behavior reflects the company’s standards, that’s a serious problem.

I'm only giving them 2 stars because I feel frustrated with this company because I'm not sure how I got into contact with this company, other than I saw an ad on Fb I believe and signed up to do a poop test at home . I didn't know whether my insurance would pay or not but thought hey might as well give it a try. So the test part was good just the way it was done and the bill afterwards is not . Anyways they sent me a test and I did it and sent it back . Well, I would have never done the test if I had known I would have to pay 681.00 ?? Since I was sent the test I assumed my insurance OKed it - I wouldn't have been sent the test right ? So now my credit is going to take a hit because I'm not going to pay this bill . Don't send out tests if insurance doesn't show it being covered . Because most people aren't going to pay cash for this when most insurances will . And mine would have it's just I had just been released from my insurance almost exactly at the same time as I ordered or got this test I guess ?? I had no idea that was the case , until I got this bill .
