I recently purchased 2 items at your fashion auction .Although this was organised from Australia there was no problem and my bids were easily obtained . Ewbank's were fantastic with selling my late parents furniture and ceramic art collections, also my mother's jewellery. More recently, I decided to sell my extensive vinyl collection and I was very pleased with the amount it received so I highly recommend them:)

I'm leaving a review of Ewbanks' shipping department because they're extremely careful even with inexpensive items and their pricing is more than fair. It's great to be able to buy something at auction and not to have to worry about what state it might arrive in.

I have sold a few high-value items with Ewbanks over the years and have never had a bad experience. Their rates are very reasonable. I usually deal with Alastair in person, but get regular email updates from the rest of the team, which are greatly appreciated. I find them courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to use their services for future transactions.

It was a pleasure to work with Alastair and team on the specialist sale of Phil’s personal work and effects . There were over 100 lots , representing a life’s work so very personal and ultimately attracting a niche market . Ewbanks handled the event with professionalism and integrity , always open to advice and collaboration - the in-house team showcased and photographed Phil’s work beautifully - just as he would have wanted . The sale far exceeded expectations and the hammer prices often doubled the reserves . All lots were sold - many of the unique pieces are now in the hands of new custodians who will look after his legacy and celebrate his memory and long career in film . That ultimately was the one of our main goals .. and it was 100 percent achieved .

I have had several dealings with Ewbanks, both buying AND selling across a few Departments. I have always found the staff easy to get on with, helpful and professional. They have given me lots of guidance and been very supportive ensuring that the items I bought and sold were successful. I will continue to use Ewbanks for all future Auctions and highly recommend them.

Poor customer service.
I buy and sell autographs and was interested in some autograph books.
Ewbanks have several autograph books for sale and I asked them to send me more images.
They replied that they were too busy to send more images !! The auction is in 8 days time !!
Hands up anybody who buys something without seeing what there buying ?
It takes 15-20 minutes to take some photo's and send them to a potential buyer.
It's not asking a lot.
Some auction houses send lots of photo's so as they can get the maximum amount for there vendors.
Sadly...Ewbanks is not one of them.
They said they didn't have the time or staff to send me more images.
If that's right, maybe you need to close your auction and find another job.
I will never buy anything from them or ask for more images again

Staff have always seemed quite helpful. Unfortunately, they no longer accept cash for payment on collection of your auction items. Ewbanks claim this is because of anti money laundering regulations but they do not say which regulations. Ewbanks say customers can pay by credit/debit card but I was not given that option for paying for my items.
