DO NOT USE EVOLVE MOTOR GROUP
We saw a £13,495 Audi A3 advertised on Autotrader and agreed to pay the full price, paid a £515 deposit (charged an additional 3% for using a credit card) and arranged to collect it. We received a call the evening before collection stating that we needed to pay an additional 'admin fee' of £300. This was not part of the agreed/advertised price on Autotrader so we challenged it. Autotrader guidance to sellers states: "As a retailer you have a duty to ensure that the final price payable, including any unavoidable and foreseeable components must be clearly advertised to the potential buyer, including on marketplaces like ours". Evolve Motor Group do not follow this guidance as the price shown on Autotrader is not what you will be asked to pay. When this was challenged Evolve Motor Group stated that it is the customers responsibility to research what the final price will be and not their responsibility. It is unclear who we we spoke to at Evolve Motor Group as they gave us several names such as 'Sam Jones' and stated the managing director was 'Mark' (they refused to provide a last name as they said it was against GDPR rules). Companies house shows two directors - Moksod and Shajahan Ali (this appears to be the same as other reviews), evidently there is no director called 'Mark'. You will note another review where a customer has reported abusive language being used, we were subject to that over a number of calls. Evolve Motor Group agreed and disagreed several times to refund our deposit but eventually said they will not. We have a number of WhatsApp messages sent to us stating they will "see us in court" etc. Evolve Motor Group have taken over £500 from us and are refusing to return it. The Customer Contract Regulations (CCR) 2013 and distance/online selling law set out strict rules that should stop these practices but Evolve Motor Group ignore this. Everything is being referred to Mastercard fraud prevention, Autotrader cutomer security and Trading Standards. Advice is to avoid this seller at all cost because if they behave like this before you have even bought your car it is pretty obvious you will be taking a huge risk.

I’d like to address your review and correct some inaccuracies. First, we do not have any vehicles listed on our website or any advertising platforms for £13,450. The vehicle you mentioned is actually listed for £13,495. This discrepancy suggests that the information may not have been thoroughly reviewed before your comments were made.
Secondly, every car advertisement clearly states that an admin fee will apply, with further details available on our website. It is the customer’s responsibility to fully read the advert before making any commitment. These details are provided to prevent any misunderstandings.
Additionally, I need to address your interactions with our staff. You were abusive towards our team and demanded to speak with management. When our manager contacted you to discuss the matter, you again became rude and even called him a liar.
Regarding your comment about Companies House, it’s important to clarify that Companies House only lists a company’s directors, not its employees. I’m unsure of the point you are trying to make with this remark.
Furthermore, before making your deposit, you agreed to the terms and conditions, which clearly state that deposits are refundable only if the vehicle is not as described upon viewing. After we prepared the car for you, you chose to withdraw from the deal, causing us to lose potential sales opportunities. Therefore, your deposit is non-refundable.
We are committed to treating all our customers fairly and equally, but we have zero tolerance for aggressive or abusive behavior. Such conduct is not acceptable.
We’re also aware that you continue to update your review. However, it’s evident that it contains several inaccuracies and misleading statements, which seem intended to harm our company’s reputation.

I was blown away with their customer service, I have bought quite a few second hand cars in my time and I can say without a shadow of doubt these guys are second to none. Fantastic service

Brought a car from evolve the whole experience from start to finish was soo easy and hassle free. They let me test drive as many cars as I wanted with no pressure to buy. I finally decided on a car after 2 weeks and they arranged the finance for me in 1 day it was so easy. I would highly recommend them and will be back for another car for my wife in a few months.

Purchased a used mazda 6 back in September 2023. Supplied with 3 month warranty. Car broke down after a week out of warranty. Absolutely no help. Car has injector issues, carbon build up. We are facing a huge bill and they won't help. Will be going to contact ombudsman.

Dear Mr. Williams, I appreciate your concerns. Let's address your review with transparency. After your warranty expired, your vehicle encountered issues that prompted AA recovery. Subsequent roadside diagnoses unveiled additional problems. Unfortunately, there was no communication from your end, and the car wasn't professionally diagnosed after the recovery.
Your attempt at self-repairs, guided by online information, resulted in unintended damage. It was only at this point that you chose to contact us. While we aim to assist you, responsibility for such incidents cannot be attributed to us. I kindly consider revisiting your review.

Knowledgable & No pressure dealership
The knowledge of the vehicles is outstanding, no pressure what so ever Shaj and Moj are so fantastic to deal with, the vehicle was also described to me exactly as how it is.
