From the minute I walked in for the initial consultation to the day of surgery, the practice at Birmingham was beyond excellent. Every small detail is covered and everything is thoroughly explained and I was made to feel very special. I even had my choice of trance music played as I was operated on. The staff are very warm and friendly! This is from a person that had a total phobia and fear of dentists!

Its not cheap but the value ED has added to my life is immeasurable. My requirements were due to practical reasons (not vanity or cosmetic) as it was becoming increasing difficult to enjoy eating many foods. However, my implants do indeed make my smile look so much better that before. So win win. Furthermore, the service was impeccable. Here now 8 months after my first visit, I write with full confidence in the knowledge they are an excellent organisation who seem to employ only the best and only have the best facilities. I’ve held off writing a review as I wanted to see the longer term results. I’m 2 years in now, and I can honestly say it’s the best thing I ever did. If you’re not sure, go along for the consultation, you won’t get the hard sell, you’ll get enough information to go away and make a decision in your own time. The day of surgery is a long one, you’ll feel quite battered to be honest but it’s not painful and the results are so worth it. I’ve just had my second annual maintenance check, it’s very thorough and the advice you get is excellent. The whole thing is amazing and I have so much more confidence. It’s not the easy option though, it’s a big spend and you really have to work hard at keeping your mouth and gums healthy to support the implants. You must stick to a full regular cleaning process to get the best long term outcome. So worth it though!

Hi Its Bally everything from the start of my journey to the end i was treated and respected like a queen. I could not ask the team for anymore as each and everyone of you are and have been so kind to me through my journey as i had a bad experience last year with Dentaprime. You have treated me like your family and i will miss yous all till my next check appointment in 8 months as had my final fitting today. So please anyone if your in doubt this is the only place , you will be you again more than 100 percent. SHORT VERSION:
If you're shopping for this service, it is a 'trust' purchase. I can think of nothing more useful than to say you can trust Dr Vassiliou and her team of specialist nurses. You'd struggle to find better.

PROCESS:
Did my Google research and reviewed the reviews. Only found one poor rating about Evo overall; from a woman who sounded like the sort you dread being sat next to on long flights. Many positive reviews of the service overall and no issues with regulators. So attended the first free consultation with Dr Vassiliou.

FREE CONSULTATION:
The tone is set from Reception by Sharon, calm, professional and genuine. This followed on from having dealt with Lyndsay who is a great first contact and can give you the benefit of close knowledge of the process and help you get started. Dr Vassiliou was running late, so staff chatted which really put a lot of fears to rest. In the detailed appointment, Dr Vassiliou not only outlined what they could do; she talked through alternatives, frankly. She talked me through scans taken by her team. There was no 'sales pitch' just an assurance that I could call them if I had forgotten to ask anything.

IMPLANT DAY:
On the day of the replacement Dr Vassiliou is the captain of an incredibly efficient ship. The nursing support are clearly specialists. The level of expertise on the day ensured the process was unbelievably pain-free. I paid for the sedation and the whole experience is like being present but pleasantly high. The most pain experienced was climbing into the chair as a 54 year-old with habitual poor posture - I certainly floated out of the chair. Aftercare on the day was delivered by staff who genuinely go the extra mile and are precisely the people you need around you if you're anxious.

FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT:
Dr Vassiliou was running late, but the staff always make sure you are comfortable in the interim and it is always a calm, private space with a TV, sofa, coffee vibe. She was not happy with an aspect to proceed to final fitting at that point, so asked that I return for a further appointment a while after. She explained fully and there was no additional charge.

FINAL APPOINTMENT:
At the final appointment Dr Vassiliou was running late so shown to a patient room. Again, they are very hospitable and the coffee, great - managed to watch the Olympics for the first time in ages. Again there was no pain whatsoever and the final look is naturalistic.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE:
After the follow up appointment, I realised I had walked into a dental practice without any anxiety for the first time in 20 years. I now know Dr Vassiliou and her Team are always running 15/20 minutes late because I suspect they are as thorough with all their patients as they have been in my case throughout. It is this thoroughness that establishes the trust needed to proceed very quickly.

Dr Vassiliou is undoubtedly a leader in her field of practice. She addressed in advance all my areas of concern and gave assurances. She kept to her assurances: Perfect titration of pain control medication which was my major concern overall. Bruising post implant was minimal and largely pain-free with medication. Worries over potential speech difficulties proved groundless.

COST:
It is awful that this level of help is not available on the NHS. It wasn't an easy stretch financially but I feel as though the service is invaluable. I discounted cheaper options abroad in favour of the UK. A service that is accountable to UK regulation is always easier to deal with in the event of issues - not that I experienced a single one with Dr Vassiliou and her colleagues. I consider myself fortunate to be able to - unexpectedly - meet the cost but do not begrudge a single penny. I hope as part of any well-deserved future success, the firm overall considers a formal pro bono program. We can all do our bit. Having been attended to throughout by women and looking at the company structure; it would be good to see one or two at Senior Governance level.

I don't write many reviews but it was after reading all the great reviews about EVO Dental Birmingham that made my mind up to go for the consultation and now I'm so glad I did.
All the staff are so friendly and caring and make you feel at ease. After going through a bit of a nightmare with dentures I went for the consultation in Solihull with Lindsey, Delia, Animesh and Zahra and they were all very informative of the process from start to finish. This convinced me it was the right thing to do. It really is a team effort and nothing is too much trouble. I had my surgery at the beginning of May and came out the same day feeling confident I could smile again, The surgery takes a few hours as I had both upper and lower jaws done but it is painless and maybe just a little uncomfortable at times but it is definitely worth it when you see the end results.
I need to give a special mention to Animesh who carried out the surgery as he was always so professional but friendly and did a great job and to Zahra who took care of me and always had a smile (even when she had to take photo's of me). These two looked after me from the start right up until today when I had my final fitment and they were fantastic.
If you are in any doubts about having this treatment then don't hesitate to book a consultation. The consultation is free and and there is no pressure at all to have the treatment but you definitely won't be disappointed if you do.

Evodental Solihull. Can not say in words how pleased I am. I had done so much research, reading all the reviews saying brilliant outcomes but nowhere was saying about pain! There must be pain afterwards with such an evasive procedure! I was waiting for it.... I can tell you NO did not reach 2 out of 10. Yes there was an ache but nothing more. Had my final dental implants last week I am over the moon best thing I have ever done. I'm so much more confident and can't stop smiling. Thank you Maria and staff at Solihull.

I’m now 5 months on from my reset day and thought it was about time I submitted a review – but where to start as there’s so much I want to say – so apologies if this is a long read but hopefully it will help others to see the full picture.

Before my initial consultation back in October I did a lot of research. My teeth were in a pretty bad state even though I have always had regular dentist appointments. I had loose teeth, discoloured teeth, missing teeth, impacted teeth, sensitive teeth, major bone loss – you name a dental problem and I had it. I felt so miserable each time I looked in a mirror and my self-esteem was at an all-time low. Eating was a nightmare as I had got to a point of having to restrict many food items or cut everything up into small bitesize pieces as I was terrified my teeth would fall out. I missed out on so many social activities over the last few years because I felt too embarrassed to talk, smile or eat in front of others. In fact the only time I felt comfortable was wearing a mask during Covid as it hid the awful state of my teeth.

Finally, after weeks of research, I contacted Evo after reading their fantastic reviews and with some trepidation I made my way to my free consultation. To say I was nervous is an understatement. On arrival I was greeted by the lovely Matt and Sharon and they were so warm and welcoming and immediately put me at ease. I then met the wonderful Pav for the consultation. Again, warm and welcoming and at no time did I ever feel judged about the state of my teeth. I was delighted when Pav said Evo could help me. It was music to my ears as I had honestly thought they would take one look at my teeth and tell me they weren’t miracle workers and nothing could be done and I’d be facing a future of ill-fitting dentures and constant anxiety. I went home that day on cloud nine. I had lots of questions and called a few times to discuss the procedure further. As always Matt and Pav were only too willing to answer any concerns or provide more details. The important thing for me was that at no time did I ever feel pressured to go ahead. There was no hard sell and I was able to take my time to arrive at what is a massive decision and commitment. I really valued that about Evo. After 2 months I took the plunge, contacted Evo and arranged a date for surgery.

3rd January 2024 was the day my adventure began. Evo sent a taxi to collect me from home. I was extremely anxious after a lifelong fear of the dentist but I needn’t have worried as the wonderful nursing team were so warm and caring immediately putting me at my ease. I opted for the IV sedation which was fantastic. I can barely recall any aspect of the procedure itself apart from the odd instruction to open wide, etc and I never felt a thing. It was completely painless. A few hours later I was back in the surgery to have my temporary bridges fitted. I will never ever forget my first look in the mirror after the fitting. I couldn’t stop smiling and couldn’t believe that reflection was me!

I’ve had my permanent bridges about 2 months now. I’ve had a couple of return visits as I felt I needed a couple of minor tweaks and each time they have been more than happy to listen to my concerns and see me without delay to resolve any issues and I am always greeted like an old friend by Sharon and Lyndsey.

I must give a shout out to all the staff but particularly Rumi, Lyndsey, Sharon, Matt, Yianna for their care and compassion and the wonderfully talented team of Pav, Taryn and Maria who literally are miracle workers and life changers.

Finally, if you’re reading this review you are probably seriously considering treatment. Just go for it as you are in safe and experienced hands with Evo. OK, we know it’s not cheap but you can't put a price on massively improved confidence and self-esteem. My friends and family can’t get over the difference in both my appearance and my personality, I no longer refuse social invitations but relish them and I’m no longer that insecure person hating every minute spent on camera in a zoom meeting who never opened her mouth for fear of others seeing the horror show that was her teeth. Now I actively engage in conversation, smile all the time and no longer shy away from eating in social situations as I can enjoy my food and choose anything from a menu without fear and the best thing of all is I have rediscovered the joy of eating and drinking cold things, particularly ice-cream, which I hadn’t eaten in over 20 years. I better start watching my waistline I think!

So far my whole experience with EvoDental has been first rate. I had my consultation on Harley Street with Jibin who was ably assisted by Alma and Valentina - they were all brilliant with me (a recovering phobic), assured me that I was a candidate and provided clear info but without any sales nonsense and no pressure at all. I decided to proceed with EvoDental in Solihull and had my surgery yesterday. It is a major procedure and I was nervous but I couldn’t have been in safer hands - everyone there is pulling for you to have the best possible outcome; from Lindsey who was my coordinator who was super friendly and kept me up to date up and greeted me on reset day, the nurses, Amal & Zarha, who looked after us so well throughout the whole day, Baz & Jas in the lab who made my prosthetic (I love it guys!) and of course my clinician, Maria, who performed the surgery and fitted my prosthetic - she was determined to ensure I’d be happy with the end result. I only had my procedure yesterday but even with the temporary prosthetic I’m already free of pain and able to speak clearly.

I know that this is going to change my life for the better and I can’t thank them all enough. I’ll write another review when I’m further along with the process but in the meantime if you are thinking about implants please do yourself a favour and visit EvoDental .

Expertise, integrity and kindness are the three words which sum up my experience at Evodental. I was referred by another implant dental practice who felt that, as my case was a little more complex, then Evodental were the obvious choice. 'It's what they do best' was what I was told. And I cannot disagree! Expertise - they do this procedure day in day out so are the industry's experts, integrity - every step of the way - they will give an honest opinion and will not just replace teeth for the sake of it, kindness - from the minute you get there , you will feel listened to and in such secure hands. The little touches like the soft blanket they give you incase you are feel cold after your procedure, the little tubs of ice cream to sooth your gums whilst you are waiting for the lab to make your implants, I could go on! I have just had my final permanent set of teeth fitted. It’s been a 1 year journey and the team at Solihull have been absolutely amazing. The minute I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Matthew.
