This bank is like Hotel California
This bank is like Hotel California, once you check-in you can never leave….An update on previous experience, despite been optimistic, it is not just getting any better. Seriously save yourself the pain of having to deal with this bank. Been a customer since 2013 and going to now close my account down. When first opened the account was gold star service personal banking experience, totally rated it. Now they customer service has gone down the toilet along with their incompetent compliance dept.
#1 Their customer services does not respond to messages, I have had to chase now twice for a response to online messaging since the 23/03 concerning currency conversion shortfall – what I was quoted and received was £350 short, yet still no response today on the 02/04.
#2 Often have to chase multiple times for a response to urgent messages and escalate to CSM to get any response – as a customer simply don’t have time for this nonsense, especially when paying monthly fees to hold an account at this bank.
#3 Latest fiasco, I tried to transfer money out of the account to UK bank account. I completed transaction to same beneficiary in January without issues. The same beneficiary details was saved on their systems for future transfer. When I executed a transfer again, after waiting a couple of days noted the money was back in my account with a comment that name on transfer needed to match my full name spelt out. I pointed out with a screenshot of my bank account in the UK that beneficiary name was spelt abbreviated on the bank account. Also pointed out to their customer services and compliance that transfer to same account beneficiary (unchanged details) was successful in January and now suddenly there are problems.
#4 In reference to #3 like I said all is good when they hold your money, but when you want to take it out… be aware note feedback from another long term customer here “Claudia Lo Re “ recently posted with same problem. Could not make this stuff up! What makes it worse is because of the delay, I lost an opportunity to buy back into physical GLD in the recent dip/pullback, all because of incompetence beyond measure. Seriously, save yourself the pain. I am just waiting for right moment to pull my money out and swap for physical GLD that is within my control and keep. This bank has become totally unreliable and their mistakes/incompetence costs you money! Think it is time to lodge a complaint to the regulators in Puerto Rico. I should not be losing money because of this banks unreasonable behaviour, someone needs to hold them accountable!

The account seems to be very good made, costs are fairly high but i see payments arryving in a few time and at the momenti no problems on transactions.
