Took my money and ran. They simply stop responding. I ended up paying out of pocket with them promising to reimburse. I never heard from them again after submitting all requested information. They did not even respond to the BBB complaint I filed.

If I could give you 0 stars I would. NO ONE ever returns phone calls or emails. I have been trying since mid December to reach a person....anyone. I have tried live chat and still no help. I paid for a 2 year plan December of 2018. I December of 2019 I noticed a charge on my credit card for the cost of the 2 year plan again. I will never use esurranty again and I will spread the word to family and friends. To make matters worse, the same thing just happened to my daughter.
I saw their response that they refunded the 2nd charge but no mention about the remainder of my original 2 year pre paid plan.

Don't waste your time..Use Asurion
I got this cell phone repair trying to go cheaper then Asurion ( the one Verizon offers). What a mistake. First off the process takes about a month or more. You start out by making a claim online and paying in advance for a service not yet rendered. Once you make the claim and pay by CC, (based on whichever device you have that needs repair up to $150) they then send you a loaner phone if you need it, which is an additional $99. You send your cell phone in the same package the loaner came in, to Florida. It takes almost a month to get it back. There is no one to answer the phone, all communications online, and they barley return messages. Once your phone arrives back to you, you then send the loaner phone back and wait up to 2 months to get it credited back to you. By the time I paid the cost to subscribe $100 plus the $150, and then wait and hunt them down for the $99 when I return the loaner, I swear it was NOT worth the aggravation.

Buyer Beware!
First off, let me tell you I have never written a review, good or bad, in my life on a product or company. But I felt compelled to share this for other potential consumers.
We decided that we would try to save some money using esurranty over the Verizon provider insurance when we got our new phones. I thought we were making a smart decision but was completely wrong. Towards the end of the first year of having this policy, my son had his phone screen cracked on accident. I was initially told my deductible was going to be $169 for accidental damage, which I had no problem paying. After submitting the claim (and after providing my payment method), I was told that after reviewing the claim, the phone was considered Non-Repairable and the deductible was going to be $399.00. I needed the phone, so we paid for it and got everything turned in quickly.
If there is one thing that they are good at, it is getting the claim created and getting your deductible dollars. They do this very quickly, and then the service gets really awful. They are horrible at communicating with you on the status of your claim. We turned down the loaner phone because we had no reason to expect that they would be this bad at getting the claim processed and getting our phone back to us. On their website, it states "theft & non-repairable device claims generally take 3-7 business days to be completed". It has now been 42 days and no phone and almost no communication regarding the claim.
We have sent at least 14 status inquiry emails with only one response telling me they expected the phone to be in and delivered the week of December 10th. We have heard nothing since. In addition, you can't call and get hold of them when you try. We have called multiple times on top of the emails. For $400 and weeks of frustration, I would have been better off buying a new phone with my provider.
This is the worst company I have dealt with in my life. If you read the rest of the reviews and the replies, you will see that they never take responsibility for issues, and it is always the consumer's fault. This company is a trainwreck, get your insurance through someone else!

My wife purchased the insurance for an year and we were charged for the second year before the existing plan was expired and following month a monthly charge was charged. I contacted and they have asked me to provide the billed dates, amount along with the credit card info but I haven’t anything back from them yet. I want my money back and cancel the insurance.

Avoid doing business with this company when you are still having an option. Otherwise, you will be possibly becoming one of their victims like me.
Make a long story short, 1 year plan to cover the phone lost or stolen was purchased; The phone lost, a claim was filed. A payment Authorization form, a receipt of purchase and a police report were submitted. A few days later, a deductible amount of $299.00 was charged to my visa. It has been more than a month, no replacement has been received. There is no way to contact them other than through email. And, no response from this company regarding my claim even though many queries have been sent by emails.
A lot of unresolved, unanswered complaints filed again this company with the BBB, Better Business Bureau. Go to the BBB website and find out for yourself.
Think of it and don't make the same mistake as mine.

I filed a claim back in August of 2019 and still have not recieved my reimbursement. I have repeatedly sent out emails to sean henson with no response. They were quick to respond at the beginning when i first filed my claim but once they received the deductible I never heard back from them. They have repeatedly tried to block my reviews because they don't want anyone to know that this company did not pay. I ended up disputing the charges with my credit card company and also filed a complaint with the Nevada BBB.
Almost Unreachable, Incredibly Slow, May Just Take Your Money
I am very disappointed with the service of esurranty. I purchased a phone plan with sprint which included leasing 7 new phones. Instead of paying the monthly fee of $15 I decided to go with esurranty to save money. Pretty soon after I started the policy, I needed to file a claim for a cracked screen on 12/1/2018. Esurranty got back to me on 12/7/2018 about my options. I decided to fix the phone through a local shop and have esurranty reimburse me. I sent the receipt to esurranty on 12/11/2018. Here is what they said "I have sent everything to accounts for verification and processing of your reimbursement. Reimbursement are sent the following Friday in the form of a cashiers check by USPS first class mail." I did not hear back from esurranty until 2/5/2019. And this was after I started responding to the initial email asking what was going on. I was so frustrated. There was not transparency about what was going on. There is no way to reach anyone in the company unless you have received an email from someone. Finally, on 3/22/2019, I finally got a reimbursement check. I am thankful that I did not send the phone to them for repair.
So because of that horrible experience, I decided that I was not going to use them any more.
So here is where it gets worse. In 2019, they changed their policy to automatically renew. On 8/31/2019 they automatically renewed my policy. This was 2 months before the auto renew should have happened even according to their updated policy. So I did two things, I disputed the claim with my credit card company and submitted a complaint to their support portal (something they added in 2019). To my surprise they responded and admitted that they had made a mistake. When my credit card company investigated the issue esurranty did not admit they had made a mistake. Instead they said that I had not cancelled. I sent all the communication that I had with esurranty to my credit card company to get the dispute up held. But because esurranty had admitted an error and said they would pay me back, my credit card company assumed that esurranty would keep their word. It is 12/3/2019 and I still have not received my refund.
Whatever money you think you are saving by using this company, it is not worth it.

I've been a member of this plan for 6 years. Needless to say, they've failed me. After submitting all of the completed paperwork, ESURRANTY failed to back me. I paid the deductible and sent my phone to a registered dealer for repairs. The phone was repaired, but the I had to pay out of pocket! I've been trying to reach someone at the company for a reimbursement for 6months now. I've even left callback & email information. But guess what? You got it!! It never happen.

I started a claim, filled out everything I needed to and esurrantty said they sent my claim to "accounts". Then they stopped replying to my messages. It's been over a month since I've heard anything.
They're saying "The notes on your account show that the claims department is waiting for you to submit the claim documents". This is not true.

They are not very good at replying to your emails
Don’t do it!
I have had essurranty for several devices. Signing up is simple and seamless. They have no problems taking your money. The problem comes when they charge your account randomly, or if you want to cancel your policy. I have contacted them by phone, and email over a dozen times with no response or refund. My cancellation has been pending for two months, and I’ve yet to be contacted about that or the erroneous charges totaling $155. This company is great if you want to give away money, otherwise buyer beware!
Don't waste your money
Took over a month to get a shipping label finally got it sent of my phone in August it is now October 28th I have emailed 2 times a week of a month for an update and status with no replay. Please don't waste you money and time on this company.
They do not live up to their claims
In my opinion this business is not what it claims to be. They are very quick to take your money, then, when you file a claim they ignore you.

The best bang for your buck with cell phone insurance. Reasonable deductibles. Phenomenal customer service. If you ever lose your phone or if it is not repairable, you will get a brand new replacement, not a refurbished one.

The best insurance I have ever had
The best insurance I have ever had. A very easy online claim form and within a short time the adjuster called me to get the phone repaired and or replaced. I have recommended and switched many (now happy) friends over to esurranty. I have Sprint and had Asurion which cost hundred's more and never had a good experience. I could have save thousands over the years with all the phones and the insurances paid out. Best piece of safety I have.

Read this un true statement:We are sorry that you feel the way you do but customers that elect to send their devices in for repair instead of going to a local repair center must send the device unlocked so that they can be tested once they are repaired. We also require that they be sent in the proper box that coincides with the label that we pay for that is free so there are no shipping delays. When a customer uses an unapproved box with our prepaid label, the shipment gets held by the USPS until the difference is paid.
A box is a box it goes bye weight and Sean even confirmed he received my cell for and they are working on it this was 7months ago now look if you dont want to fix my cell then send it back? I have a the emails to prove you received it and where so called working on it but all you guys do is post lies...all in all I should have read this company's reviews befor paying for the service that they don't provide.
Terrible Customer Service, Avoid them!
Submitted an online claim on 9/16/19 for a cracked screen. I received an email confirmation a few minutes after submitting the claim, silence since then. I submitted a support ticket 2 days later, no response or email confirmation. I called them several times and was never able to speak to a live person. There is no way of seeing your support tickets on their website (blackhole customer service). I resubmitted a support ticket today. Again, no acknowledgement of the ticket or anyway to track it. Worse company ever! You are better off paying the few dollars extra and getting the coverage through your carrier. It may cost more, but at least you will get a response.
