0/10 DONT recommend. They Really truly and honestly Don't Care. They will ghost you. Accuse you. Blame you if if you are not at fault. I waited on estimatre for 1 month for them to tell me I was denied because the driver of my car crashed. Even though I had FULL coverage. Comprehensive and Collision. They are rude. My adjuster Lois ignored me 2 weeks straight! Her manager Chris is an aszhole and blamed me for my brand new car getting in a wreck that I was not involved in. No empathy. My policy clearly states "No matter who is at fault" yeah right. I'm getting lawyers involved! They can kiss my ass. and my police randomly went up $60 for no reason. like what?
Esurance is an untruthful company
Esurance sent an email a month before my MC policy was supposed to renew stating they would not be renewing my policy no explanation as to why... When i called they told me that they would no longer be covering riders in CA. HOWEVER, my partners MC policy was renewed same time as mine was terminated. When i asked about this Esurance failed to give me a straight answer nothing but studdering and "oh, im not sure why." i emailed them asking why my partners mc policy was renewed and mine wasnt if we were both in California since the person on the phone couldnt give me a straight answer. They said the same thi g and when asked why they renewed his and not mine no answer was provided. It doesnt make sense. They also sent a follow up email stating they were taking away my multivehicle discount bc of this. Which is a little ridiculous bc it wasnt me who termed the policy they did! They should have at least extended the discount for a couple of months for their customers due to the inconvenience. That was the ENTIRE reason i got this insurance so i could bundle my bike and vehicle. I will be looking for another insurance now to cover both my vehicle and mc... but my main point is they are untruthful to their customers and cant even give a legitimate answer as to why they are picking and choosing which customers to keep and term.
They won't lift a finger for their customers…
Unless you're paying for complete full coverage, don't expect them to lift a finger to even call you to tell you they won't lift a finger for you. They don't care at all about the customer. I've filed 2 claims with them and have never heard back from them on either. And it's a simple contact the other guys insurance and get them to pay since they are easily at fault. They just won't file claims for you or lift a finger to help you in anyway. Even with full coverage it's very doubtful you'll get any help from them. Do not recommend at all.
Take your business elsewhere you are not in good hands
This company is horrible charges you without your knowledge repeatedly on your account and renews your account without your knowledge and continues to debit your account multiple times. This company deserves nothing more than to burn like it has countless people's lives to the ground. This company overdrafted my accounts and caused me to almost ruin my life and my credit thank God I looked into what the unknown charges were on my account. I wouldn't recommend this company to my enemies. They do not have your back in the least as with most insurance that being said they take the cake.

Company doesn't care. They are non communicative. They ghost you. They duck your calls. Their agent told me that maybe I should handle my claim outside insurance because the other guy wanted to.
Literally am not at fault and all they need to do is talk to the other guy's insurance, but I can't even hear back on that.

If I could select zero stars, I would. Esurance is great, until you have a claim. The car was totaled, I was sent to another company, treated like a bother & my accident was 2 months ago & still, no check. I would never recommend this company. I have been a loyal customer for years & when I need them, it’s complete havoc. Absolutely unprofessional and terrible customer service,

As early as April documents were sent for.me to sign for renewal. To my surprise the documents didn't have eSign capabilities. I called in.only.to find out one must print out documents, sign them then take pictures of them and send back as email. Since I didn't have a printer I asked for forms to be sent to me. I received the forms filled out and sent back.
Shortly I received an email that all requests were received and to disregard other notices. I received my renewed policy. Then a month later received notice that there will be changes in my.policy because of documents.not received.
So after calling customer care( a joke) I was told to take pictures of my forms and send them by email. I did so four times then finally notified that they couldn't open the file sent! High tech...right? Then they offer zero assistance in aiding me in correcting the problem. So when to pull the plug ?
I'm about to enter hospital for a long stay and can't deal real afford the higher cost.
This high tech firm I believe is using floppy disks. Very disappointed and will report.my.problems to insurance commissioner policy.pami0095007197
Worst company I have ever dealt with
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Bought a used car 1 1/2 months from a Chevy dealer before it was rear ended. They never advised me the car was totaled. Body shop had a towing company try to take the car from them. Now claims adjuster who is horrible to contact wants to take $5,000 off the purchase price of the car for the claims settlement. Gave them copies of the purchase contract, 25 listings showing the price of the car in the area from Chevy dealers and JD power valuation. They said I could pay to go to arbitration. I am filing a complaint with my states insurance dept and you should too. Company reviews are horrible. Wish I knew this before. Move to any other insurance company. It’s worth it even if it costs more. 3+ months later still no settlement.
Better to have NO INSURANCE than have Esurance
If I could give Esurance a big fat ZERO, I will. Insurance companies like esurance are always happy to take your monthly payment UNTIL you file a claim. My side-mirror hit a pole while I was backing out of a very tight parking spot. The cost of replacing my mirror from certified Benz Workshops was about $2500 because of the blind assist technology, antennas, etc...However, the adjusters
at Esurance insisted on only covering parts from a USED CAR RECYCLING store, and added a little $40 for repainting... They didn't want to pay for an OEM replacement. Honestly, I learned my lesson that cheaper insurance is most likely not the best insurance. I would've NEVER even filed a claim at all if I knew I'll be receiving an insult in the form of a $350 check for an almost $3,000 repair! Plus they added an at-fault accident in my driving history for an incident that had nothing to do with any other vehicle. Insurance companies like Esurance are definitely the most blatant broad-day-light robbery in America...NEVER AGAIN using eSurance.
Stay away
Stay away. Tried to cancel day of, the wanted to charge me $50. I don't have a steady job right now so that $50 was what I was trying to save at another company. I ended up having to sign up with them again. Definitely going with another company after these 6 months are up. If they had offered me the same plan the other company did, I would have stayed voluntarily.
Wouldn't Recommend Esurance to ANYONE
In October 2022, I was involved in an accident in the Orlando, Fl area. My 2010 Toyota Highlander was easily repairable as it only needed a new front bumper, hood, and radiator but Esurance decided to total the car.
Since that time, it's been nearly impossible to talk to anyone. When you call, they don't pick up. If you leave a message they don't return your call.
I had to rent a car for 3 weeks, and eventually buy a new car. Here we are 4 months later and they still have not paid the claim.
The minute they decided to total the car, a check should have been issued and mailed to me.
I reached out to the Florida insurance commissioner's office and received word from them that Esurance claims I only called them twice. I sent the commissioner a copy of my cellphone calls log to Esurance which totaled more than 60 calls.
So on top of having the worst customer service of any company I've dealt with, they are dishonest.
I have subsequently dropped this company as they are completely untrustworthy, and would recommend anyone reading this to look elsewhere for car insurance

If I could give this company a zero I would. I’ve had home insurance with this company since 2016 and never had to file a claim. We had a bad storm which caused my patio door to burst open and it never shut correctly since, so I filed a claim. They denied my claim and the person that came to inspect it never asked me questions he just came and took pictures and told them I had a dog and said my dog scratched up the door which is not true. My little Shih tzu is not the cause of my patio door not closing correctly. You lost a loyal customer and this company will fail with the employees you have working for you.
Horrendous customer service
I was an e-surance customer since 2008, and due to their sub-par customer service during my recent claim, I will find another company that hopefully employs humans to answer the phone, return calls and processes claims in a timely manner. The first time I submitted a claim 5 years ago, they were great and handled it quickly and efficiently. Now, 5 years later, when an uninsured driver hit me, it took them 3 months to process and finally approve a payment to the body shop. Communication is convoluted. They outsource to another company who uses their adjusters that deal with claims. ALL phone numbers lead to one adjuster, who never answers the phone or returns calls, or sends any email updates or correspondence. Every step of the way you have to stalk the adjuster and hope they will respond. The body shop also had trouble reaching them and it took months to get payment approvals. The adjuster didn't know how to help set up an appointment with their affiliated body shops properly. After failed attempts at getting anything done with their recommended shop-- I found my own, which would not release my car to me until they got payment approval. I reported my claim in October, and finally took my car home Mid January. I also had to pay for my own renal car while all these failed steps of the process were going on. What was once a good company has sank to an all time low in customer service.
Stay away
Esurance only gets credit for being cheap after years of being expensive. Their customer service is atrocious. Their roadside assistance is worse. I live for the day they or their parent company attempt to reclaim my service. I have never wished more evil Ills on any entity ever, not terrorists, pandemics nor the Devil himself.

They pretty cool outside of charging me for over a year for things I didn't ask for. They charged me for towing and medical, when I have medicaid, medicare and AAA for 20 years. The manager or whoever never call me back. I never got a refund. Hundreds of $ gone to waste.

I’ve had Esurance since 2018 and I liked them because the prices were cheap compared to others. Well my car got hit by someone at work who didn’t have insurance and they won’t help me press charges which is usually a basic service of insurance providers and then a couple weeks ago I was in an accident and the shop I brought it to considered it a total loss and called them multiple times that week, a week later I get a call from a representative who was rude and makes me middle man everything for them! I had to send an email to the shop so they can send the estimate over but it all could’ve been done if they just picked up the phone! Even the shop owner was saying this is poor service for an insurance company, its been over a week since I’ve been waiting to hear back about my estimate so I can get a new car and it’s my only transportation to work. They really drop the ball anytime you need them for something. Will be switching insurance when I get a new car even if it’s more expensive.

Got in an accident (unable to drive car) two weeks ago. Recaived a single calling saying to release it to car auction company and someone would call me within 72 hours. No one has called. I call and get voicemail or am put on hold for 30 minutes and it hangs up. Called and was given his supervisors number but all I get is voicemail. So two weeks with no answers and no no car to drive. Yet they happily pull my monthly payment out of the checking account. If you’re smart you’ll go with someone local. Esurance and Allstate should be shut down.
