I was quite confident in my English ability because I had achieved an 8.0 twice in the IELTS test before. However, my writing score were always low, which didn’t make any sense to me because I thought I did well (relatable, right?). That’s why I decided to work with a professional tutor to get expert’s advice.
I was a bit iffy about the service at first, so I signed up for the one-time feedback, and it blew my mind. He scored my writing and explained in detail why I was at this band. The feedback wasn’t just about minor mistakes; he also covered all other criteria in detail as well. It was really eye-opening, and I could finally understand why the examiners gave me such low scores in the past.
That experience made me sign up for the mentoring course which was times better. We worked through all task types, some of which we practiced twice.
