It was a mistake to choose them.

I wish I read the reviews on here before selecting eScribers. I selected 48hrs, now it's weeks and they're admitting they don't actually offer 48hrs, despite it being on their site. Instead of telling me that up front, they hid it in an email with over 3,000 words.

Now I'm complaining I'm getting nothing but attitude from their staff.

So I highly recommend you use another provider for your transcription.

Shocking organisation. I’m writing to my MP to have them removed from the service list.

They sent an estimate. I have no idea what these things should cost. When I called to pay the invoice was much less, which I did question on the phone , as I was worried they weren’t doing the full transcript. Months and months later, they now say I’ve an outstanding invoice. I mean, if you ask a business for the balance they should tell you the full balance. The operative confirmed my payment was the full amount outstanding, in fact stating it was the only figure on the screen. To top it off, when I’m clearly complaining the stance is to become combative and send the ‘terms’ to me. So unnecessary. Anyone using the court system………..you won’t need the extra aggravation they bring .

Not a trustworthy provider. Haphazard performance and can let you down when you most need them.

I have tried to use this provider twice. The first time went OK. However, the second time was a catastrophe!

I was quoted a hefty fee for a 2 day turnaround of a 3 hour hearing. They were granted permissions by the court. It took a while to save the cash, but when I paid the deposit and fee, they then told me it wasn't available! By then they had £800 of my cash!

They stated that they would put it on the 12 day turnaround, which is useless! As it is needed for an appeal which had already delayed filing the document. Now the hearing it is needed for is coming up and they have absolutely no solutions! Nothing! They just caused a problem and it feels almost scammy behaviour! They only get away with it because the MoJ contracts have caused at least 2 of the 6 contracted providers to leave transcription services.

I gave a 2 because the first time was OK. Though they do not provide paragraph numbers, which is unprofessional in its own right.

You can use them, but be aware it's pot luck on their capacity,

Just been sent another reissued documents blaming me for the wrong title of a district judge. They are rude when sending a letter to your home address when you have asked questions. Definetely a rip of firm and I will be writing to their director for part of my money back.

BEWARE this company rips you off. They were hopeless at the work I needed doing and they kept charging me for their incompetency. I employed them from January 2025 and it’s taken till March 14 to receive the corrected version. They have billed me three times. Now they won’t speak to me regarding the invoices as they claimed I been recording them without their permission. I bet they have been recording me without my permission. They owed me £666. They asked for £939.48 upfront now I don’t get much back from their incompetency. They say that that my refund will take 7 working days. Typical American Thiieving Getts. Trump wouldn’t like it if they ripped him off. Going to take court action against them.

Very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff. I urgently needed a transcription of an 11 minute recording, and it was turned just over in 24 hours. Very impressed. Thank you.

I am having a long running battle with Basildon court who wish to avoid a judge's order and are ignoring emails, filling in forms incorrectly or not at all and placing as many hurdles in the way as they can
Through this nightmare I have been assisted by eScribers who have been trying to get the right information to transcribe the case as per the judge's orders.
eScribers are a brilliant company, they have been really really helpful and they have completed the transcription in record time to help make up for the delays by Basidon court

Do not use this company.

Can not produce a 10 minute segment so charge for the full hearing in stead when told over the phone they would and could do it!

Undue delay and now a lot of stress
