If you’re going to the Stansted Escape lounge I wouldn’t bother. It’s been moved to near the gates for long-haul flights, so if you fly Ryanair/easyjet etc it’s of no use to you. It’s also offer... Se mere

Never any seats
Never any seats, awful experience every time. Staff don’t care. What is the point? Might as well just close it they take peoples money but provide zero experience
Bristol Escape Lounge: Appalling service and rude staff.
Appalling service and rude staff.
When I arrived the attendant was in some sort of dispute with a customer who was before me. When it was my turn to be served he was rude and dismissive and a suggested the venue was full (there were loads of empty seats). I guess he has a process to follow regarding permitting access but it appears there was more focus on restricting the number of people as he let slip he starts to close things down at 7pm (earlier than the actual closing time) despite me having a booking. His sniggering assistant didn't help and they could both benefit from training in customer service.
Awful
Escape lounge (stansted airport) might be one of the most depressing places I've ever been to (and I've been to Norwich). It's a godless place, like being at a funeral except your dead, and everyone around you is dead and no one is mourning your death except a local council representative
I was more comfortable in one of the sofas in the terminal itself.
I'm not a fan of writing bad reviews, but now I want to use it to inform everyone who wants to book the Escape Lounge.
I was received by a more than nice and polite host. Once inside I felt somewhat disappointed. I was on my own so I was placed on a stool in a corner at a bar table. The other option was a small leather armchair with a tiny side table. Because, according to the host, many guests (groups) were still expected, I was not allowed to sit at a nice table with nice chairs. However, I never saw those guys, there was just room for me. I offered to stand up if the chairs had to be made available for groups, but that was not an option because then the table would have to be cleaned additionally......
You would expect a lounge to provide you with an oasis of peace, where you can relax while you wait for your flight. After all, you pay a hefty amount for some extra luxury, but some restaurants at the airport are cozier and more furnished as a lounge than the Escape Lounge. The food was also not very tasty and you had to eat it from small plates with very small cutlery.
All in all, unfortunately very disappointed. If you have to cover some hours at Bristol Airport, the Escape Lounge offers absolutely no added value. I was more comfortable in one of the sofas in the terminal itself.
Avoid bristol escape lounge
Avoid bristol escape lounge. There is no selection of food and drink, it's dirty, no electric points working and no WiFi. There was no selection for kids, If you go in a group as there was 6 of us, we couldn't sit together as the lounge had reserved seats for other people even though we had booked the lounge
Unfair Additional Charges
Supposedly Priority Pass (already paid for) gives you access, but you have to pay an additional fee to reserve space at the lounge (this is for Escape Lounge in Bristol)! Previously when I hadn't paid this "reservation fee" they said the lounge was full!
Awful service value proposition, and just seems like money-squeezing as much as possible... I'm shocked this is allowed.
Disappointing
Title: Mixed Feelings at Escape Lounge, Bristol Airport
Review:
During my recent visit to Bristol Airport, I decided to spend some time at the Escape Lounge, anticipating a comfortable and relaxing experience before my flight. Right off the bat, I was greeted by incredibly friendly staff, which was a promising start. Their warm welcomes and readiness to assist made a notable impression, showcasing their commitment to customer service.
However, my initial enthusiasm was somewhat dampened as I explored the lounge further. The selection of food available was rather limited, lacking the variety and quality I've encountered in other airport lounges. This aspect was disappointing, especially considering the entrance fee.
Moreover, the lounge's overall appearance left much to be desired. It's evident that the place could benefit from a renovation. The seating areas, in particular, showed signs of wear and tear, with many seats appearing tired and worn. This detracted from the overall ambiance and comfort that are typically sought after in such settings.
In comparison to the numerous other lounges I've visited, the Escape Lounge at Bristol Airport didn't quite meet my expectations, especially when considering the cost to gain entry. While the staff's friendliness was a highlight, it wasn't enough to compensate for the shortcomings in food variety and lounge upkeep.
In conclusion, based on this experience, the value for the entry fee to the Escape Lounge does not align with the standards seen elsewhere. For future visits, I hope to see improvements that could potentially make the lounge more competitive and worth the visit.
To say I am disappointed is an…
To say I am disappointed is an understatement, I arrived with friends for a 7am flight, we booked the lounge as we were travelling from Swansea and wanted to have somewhere to relax and have some food before flying on our weekend break, we went to the lounge and were shown to our table, a bit disappointed as the area was tatty and the seats weren’t the best, the covers were torn and very shabby.
We were told to help ourselves to breakfast which we did, on picking up what I thought was hot breakfast and took it back to the table, the bacon was cold, not warm but cold this was early morning so you would expect it to be fresh and warm but Cold is unacceptable, the hash brown were Luke warm and so was the scrambled egg.
One of the our group went to reception area and asked for the complaint procedure and was told …. They don’t have one!!! What!!!! They don’t have a complaint procedure what sort of business is this? She asked to speak to a manager and was told that she was speaking to her…., she would not give her name and said she would get her GM to email her.
We then had ONE round of drinks and within minutes a security guy came over and asked what the problem was, so he was told The whole story and then said ….. what do you expect her to do about the state on the seats!!! Totally unprofessional all around and then he said ….. They want you to leave, we paid over £30 for COLD FOOD sitting in a shabby area were asked to leave …. Absolutely disgraceful… AVOID AVOID AVOID
Appalling experience
Visited escape lounge at stansted, we paid £45 each at the door, but it appaling. Tastless food, poor quality, not much choices, both coffee machines are broken, not much space to relax either, highly disappointed. Lounge looks tired, no toilets either.
Never again Staff friendly
Staff friendly , but food is terrible , sloppy cottage pie or green curry which looked like puke . Didn’t taste much better either .
Second time here , thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt being new after a terrible opening week , but no improvement whatsoever , far better off spending money in the outside bars .
Can't talk to them
Most companies want to avoid talking to their customers but these people take it to another level, we booked for Bristol, they took the money, no confirmation email, impossible to talk to anyone about Bristol
The worst service found in an airport
The worst service found in an airport. If you don't have a reservation you don't get in and from the website even days before you can't book. Wasted money. To be avoided.
Poor food quality
Poor food quality. Absolutely packed sat on hard chairs. Food was sausage chicken legs and scrambled eggs. Few sandwiches egg or cheese. Plastic seats. Plenty of named brand alcohol. Nice coffee from machine. But for 80 quid I expected more. Very disappointed will not book again
The experience was a disaster from the…
The experience in the Bristol VIP lounge was a disaster from the start and we were so so disappointed. This was meant to be a great start to our first holiday in 3 yrs
Dried up food, no online menu as promised as they said they had no stock.
The staff seemed very embarrassed by the lack of choice and low quality.
Plenty of alcohol if you wanted it.
Will never go again and warn others of this bad experience.we could have had a feast in the food hall for 80 pounds that we paid.
