I ordered an Ergonofis Sway Standing Desk and Tilt Stool on February 26, 2026, for over $2,500. What I did not know — and was never disclosed — was that Ergonofis's parent company, Entreprises Nolk Inc., had already entered insolvency proceedings, with a bankruptcy bid deadline of February 18, 2026. My order was accepted and my credit card was charged 8 days after that deadline.
The desk took over a month to arrive via a third-party carrier with ZERO communication. When I finally emailed Ergonofis to follow up, I received an automated response stating their inbox was no longer being monitored and they were no longer accepting orders.
The product I received was advertised with a 10-year warranty on the frame and 5 years on motors and electronics. That warranty is worthless. The company is effectively gone.
If you are considering purchasing from Ergonofis, if they ever resurface, be aware that the company was in bankruptcy proceedings administered by Raymond Chabot Inc. in Montreal, and they were still taking orders and charging cards. Do not place an order!!

Ordered my desk 6 weeks ago. I got a shipping notification two days later, but the desk has never arrived. Customer service gave a series of different excuses - first it was a customs issue, then no, something totally different. I demanded a refund and got no response. Now their site has gone completely offline.

Absolute nightmare. I ordered a desk 6 weeks ago and received a shipping notification 4.5 weeks ago, but I've yet to receive the desk or an explanation as to what's happening. Delays happen but they haven't been at all transparent or forthcoming with information. Instead I've been given contradictory responses and false assurances with no follow-up.

After buying an entire setup from them; desk with drawer, power bar and cable management - iPad stand, monitor stand, leather desk pad, I purchased one last item - the Tidy filing cabinet.

There was a manufacturing flaw (the drawers didn't line up properly) and the storage was a bit lacking for my needs. I contacted them for a return.

After an initial response where she asked me the problem (which I replied with photos), I was completely ghosted from them from then on, despite me being polite, not spamming or being pushy.

They have continued to ignore every return request follow up since, including ignoring phone calls and emails - absolutely NO reply.

They didn't realize that I bought everything out of pocket - thousands of dollars - because I'm a YouTuber who wanted to do a desk setup video for them, for free.

I did end up making that video, but it was very sadly to let everyone know how they completely ghosted me when I wanted to request a return (within a few days of purchase, nicely repackaged and everything)

Yeah, I'm honestly amazed that a company could have such AWFUL business sense that they'd throw their reputation in the garbage for $590. What sense does that even make?

I'm wondering if they're going through a management change or if they're going bankrupt, because this just doesn't make logical sense to me.

Absolute garbage. Bought the sway desk in 2022 and there’s a HUGE split in it just 2 years later. The split is because of shotty workmanship on the wooden surface. As in the wood planks are literally SEPARATING because of how poorly it was put together. Paid over $2k for it and they won’t even own up to their quality. Saying how they only offer a 1 year warranty which magically turned into a year warranty when they released their version 2.0. If I had known they didn’t stand by their quality and that their first version was so BAD, I would’ve just gotten their 2nd version. Customer service is both slow and unhelpful. What terrible business practices.

I purchased the ergo frame, wire cable system and this arm. I live in rural Alaska and had to have my items shipped to the barge in Seattle then barged to my address in Alaska. Because I was making my desk by hand, and ordered this prior to the holidays, I did not assemble until a few months after the items were shipped.

Some of the screws were loose in the box within the ergo desk frame. We were able to put them together but I was a little shocked as I thought I was paying for quality. Worse than that, when I went to use my monitor, which is under the weight limit advertised with the monitor arm, it not only failed to hold up the monitor, it broke, and the plastic buffer on the clamp broke during installation, slid out and put a giant dent in my beautiful slab that I bought locally and prepared for this desk by hand over many many hours. Customer service had nothing to offer or say, no empathy, and simply because I was out of the 30 day period, had no refunds and nothing to offer. I was shocked considering how I had spent so much money on this desk setup that was supposed to be top quality. I don't recommend this company to people, especially anyone in the USA or anyone who is hoping to build their office at their own pace.

Desk is great - if you get working hardware.

They shipped a faulty leg with our original desk. Took two weeks for a replacement to arrive.

Later purchased a smaller replacement desktop and the shipped the wrong one after informing us that they would custom make the correct top. Doesn't work on our base (they sent us someone else’s desktop).
More than two weeks later and there is no update on the arrival date for our correct desktop.

Shop elsewhere and save yourself massive amounts of frustration.

I search different on website I found that ergonofis from Canada. order after that they shipping good protection im satisfied with it
