AVOID AT ALL COST.

This has been ongoing since December 2025 and is still completely unresolved. I have dealt with Josh, Chris, and director Dominic Reynolds, and despite repeated assurances, nothing has been followed through.

I was promised replacement equipment — it never arrived. I was then given excuses including a broken-down van and missed appointments. I was later told a full refund would be processed, which to this day has still not been received.

This situation involves essential equipment for my disabled son, partly funded by a charity. Money has been taken for goods that were faulty or not delivered, and after months of delays and broken promises, there has still been no resolution.

In my view, this falls well below the standards required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

I have written evidence from director Dominic Reynolds confirming a £1000 refund would be sent, alongside a request for my review to be removed. Despite this, no refund has been received and the matter remains unresolved.

I have now escalated this formally and am pursuing further action to recover the money owed.

Save yourself the stress, time, and financial loss — avoid this company at all costs.

Imagine this—they actually got back to me! “We’ll refund your money and send the lift motor, but only if you remove your review!” When I told them I don’t trust them and that they should refund me first… they stopped responding.
This company is rotten to the core. Be careful!

We are extremely disappointed with our experience with Equip4Gyms. Unfortunately the company has failed to fulfil their obligations.A full refund was given after various attempts to resolve the situation.
But since making the payment, we have experienced constant delays, excuses, Each time we try to resolve the issue, we are passed from one person to another without any real progress.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Equip4Gyms. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to deliver what was agreed has been extremely disappointing and stressful.

Shocking customer service, they never call back and following long delays in getting anything from them despite them having my money they then sent a piece of equipment that was broken and still haven't collected it - they also haven't refunded the money for the broken item or two items cancelled and lost complete faith in them. Now having to issue proceedings against them to get a refund as they have failed to refund the money and are now not even bothering to answer the phone. Avoid them they are awful

I have now had 3 pieces of gym equipment from Equip4gyms. Although not new, they have been in very good working condition. Delivery has been quick, and turned up when you require it to. I have dealt with Josh most of the time and he has always given good advice, and been able to answer my questions. I had a problem once and it was swiftly dealt with by customer service. I am impressed with this company and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you

I ordered in December knowing that delivery was planned for end of January for the stair climber. I have used multiple companies to fill my gym and they have been as good as any of the others.

Josh communicated throughout and when there was a delay of a few weeks informed me and even offered a credit as a goodwill gesture which wasn’t needed as when importing products there are usually delays outside of a companies control.

In terms of the item it was packaged amazingly and as agreed was pre built which made things super easy for me.

The product is still incredible quality for the money and I am really chuffed.

I have read some of the 1 star reviews and their experiences definitely don’t match mine.

Purchased a row erg and unfortunately had no recoil on it. Got in touch with E4G and with no hassle had it exchanged within the week. The second one was in great condition for the price paid. I would highly recommend using E4G.

11 months have passed, order never arrive. Refund never receive. Just procrastinate.

Just had a refurbished treadmill delivered to my house. Really happy with the product and service. Everything was perfectly as described and delivered as promised. Will buy again, thanks!

Went to pick up some equipment my partner brought for our gym. The guys are great and went above and beyond with helping. I met Dominic and needed some dumbbells and he did us a solid deal. He's a good guy and a great company.

I recently purchased 3 machines. Josh has been fantastic in every regard. Was a bit apprehensive as I live in kent and their prices were super competitive - but the products and the customer service have far exceeded expectations. I would recommend them 100%

I ordered 100kgs of weight plates which arrived three working days after I placed my order. The price was great and delivery was well communicated; I was notified of the delivery date and then the delivery slot was confirmed the morning of delivery by Katie. I would definitely recommend using Equip4gyms. Thank you!

Ordered a specific Ziva kettlebell… without any consultation or communication, equip4gyms sent out an alternative product. Trying to get a collection organised was challenging (took 3 attempts, a waste of my time staying in); once finally collected they failed to refund me within a week. Reported and refunded via PayPal. I wouldn’t recommend this business for anything. Customer service and communication poor (see update - I would give Equip4gyms a second chance following my call with Dom).

UPDATE:

Following the above review Dom (a director of the company) reached out to me to better understand my experience, what went wrong in my eyes, along with explaining what he’d have expected to happen on his side. In my view this is all it takes sometimes, for a business to want to improve or better understand when something has gone wrong as opposed to being in denial. Thx Dom for taking the time out to put things right!

During the summer 2025 clearance sale I bought a Matrix krankcycle with shipment to Germany Order #130967528. Customer service promised a good conditioned equipment and after 4 days I already received the info that it would be ready to ship. After 3 more weeks I asked via email for an update without response. A few days later I called customer support and they told me that the seat was missing that was shown on the pictures (either the pictures were fake or they really managed to loose it). Customer support told me I could wait and they would try to get one. Several weeks later I called again and they told me they were now missing an import license to EU and would issue a refund. 2 Months later, before the 180 days PayPal refund period were over I asked for an update via email. Again no response. After raising a ticket at PayPal I received the money back a week later. All in all very unsatisfying experience.

Called to the warehouse to have a look at a few things to add to the gym. Was shown around by Josh who helped up purchase what we needed. Payment was made and had the items delivered and assembled within a week. Will definately use again.
