This is really open source at its best. The documentation, support and most importantly capabilities of the device seriously surpass anything I have seen in the commercial world for this price.

This is the second product I have backed with Envox and I couldn't be happier. After a horror run with their original PCB builder, they stayed with their customers and produced a simply outstanding product in the BB3.

It seems to me though that many have seen only that the BB3 is a multi-channel power supply when it is so much more.

As an ex T&M guy with Hewlett-Packard, the BB3 is like the HP3497 on steroids. That is a full data acquisition system!

So for people who want to build or understand real world device or systems, the BB3 can be programmed to hammer your DUT before release to market.

A real godsend for those on limited finances and the rate of development of new capabilities in both hardware and software (supported by an active community) is staggering.

Really excellent products with the best development team backing it for continued improvements, feature additions and firmware updates.

If you are a power user and care about knowing everything about your product, then get Envox Experimental Zone hardware!

Their products are customizable to the extreme and with a little work can do things hardware 10x more expensive only dreams of doing.

While there were a few minor issues (like a faulty IDC-10 cable, which should not be a hindrance for anyone doing electronics) the BB3 was overall a great purchase. Great value for money and the knowledge that any possible fixes in a few years should be made much easier by the supply being open source. For any issues with either preassembled or self assembly units there is a fast turnaround for questions either on discord or the eevblog forums.

I backed the Envox BB3 through Crowd Supply because I needed a lab power supply. Crowd funding takes some time but I got so much more than I expected: The BB3 is a programmable and connected open lab platform with Envox and a community behind it. It has great features and is a joy to use.

The Envox open source policy and open communications is a joy to experience. I can't wait for more future products and extensions to come.

Brilliant hardware/software design with thorough documentation and schematics. It's clear a lot of love and thought has gone into their products. I backed their Bench Box 3 project ages ago and it was delivered with excellent communications and packaging. It made it all the way to Australia with no problems or damage. :) The discord community is great and has been super helpful with the mods I've done to the BB3.

I bought an Envox EEZ BB3 in the first Crowd Supply buy. It is an impressive, easy to use, flexible and modular lab instrument platform with capabilities well beyond other instruments of similar price. Envox's support has been excellent, and I'm excited to see how the platform continues to develop.

I'd followed the crowd-funded campaign for this 2-channel BB3 power supply so thought I knew what to expect. The reality was actually much better! It took an hour or so to assemble the kit and then it Just Worked. It is noticeable just how much attention to detail there is, not just in the physical electronics but the documentation and even shipping packaging.

The entire design, hardware and software, is open source too, so there is no dependency on the developer for parts made of unobtainium or to alter the way it works. Once upon a time, any decent tool provided schematics, but it's getting to be a rarity nowadays so is a real bonus for this one.

The feature set of the PSU, far too long to list here, is in excess of anything I've had from big name companies, and the developer is very approachable (and easily contactable). I'm currently budgeting to acquire a second unit to replace an existing Rigol device.
