My elderly mum's very old gas boiler was recently condemned and she did not have enough money to pay for a new one. Only by chance did I come across ESG. I was pleased that my mum met the criteria for making an application and absolutely delighted to be told that, after a home energy survey, not only would she get a new gas boiler installed and fitted for free, but also free loft insulation.

I would like to thank Energy Saving Grants so much for arranging the funding for our home upgrade, which we simply would not have been able to afford otherwise. I was unaware of the LA Flex scheme, and thanks to Energy Saving Grants we had loft insulation, storage heaters and solar PV installed. I highly recommend this company. Thank you.

I obtained funding via this organisation for solar panels to be installed on a couple of my rental properties, as one of the tenants said that they would qualify for a full grant. Everything went smoothly. I just had to send them some paperwork as evidence that I owned the properties and then sign some permission documents for the works to be installed. They dealt with my tenants. Overall I am very pleased and glad that I listened to my tenant.

I was advised to contact this organisation by my local Council, as I was trying to get a grant for my house to be insulated to help reduce my energy bills.
The advisor that I spoke to asked me a number of questions to check if I qualified for a grant and told me that I should qualify for loft insulation and wall insulation and that I may also qualify for Solar panels as I had electric heating in my home. I was very, very skeptical because I know solar panels are really expensive to buy as I had a quote a few years ago. However the advisor assured me that because of my personal circumstances I should qualify for a 100% grant. I was still very dubious but agreed for a surveyor to visit. After the survey they sent me paperwork to state that I would qualify for free insulation and solar panels. The work has recently been completed and I am over the moon. I am so glad I took advantage of this grant and would recommend this organisation to anyone.

We have had heat pumps, solar panels and insulation in our home – and the house is so cosy and comfortable. Menai Heating have offered a very professional service throughout, from initial contact through to completion. All people involved i.e. surveyors, office staff, installers and customer liaison were professional, friendly, efficient and polite. If an appointment had been arranged, the staff would always phone to inform us when they were planning to arrive. The sub-contractors were excellent – the insulation/plastering team, plumbers, roofers and electricians. Thank you!

The help from Energy Saving Grants was excellent.
They clearly explained the process and what we would be eligible for and were available to answer any questions.

We were fortunate enough to qualify for the government ECO-4 grant and they arranged for us (via a separate company) to have installed new and high quality air source heat pump, new central heating & hot water system, solar panels, loft insulation and if it was possible, we could have had cavity wall insualtion as well, all for zero cost to us or our landlord.

There are a lot of companies out there offering access to ECO-4 funding, but not all of them provide all of the options we made use of, and not all of them are totally funded.

We waited approximately 3 weeks from initial enquiry until a surveyor came to our house (with Christmas in beween, so likely 2 weeks in usual conditions) and the work was all completed by the middle of March, so a total of perhaps 5 weeks once we had word that funding had been secured.

The company they employed to do the work were proficient, tidy and polite and left our home in a good state (and also much warmer!!!).

A lot of people arent aware of the ECO-4 funding, and often believe it to be a scam, but I can safley say that this company and the available grat is indeed genuine, so long as you are eligible.

The whole process was totally hands-off for us (other than some basic form filling), so required very little time.

Fantastic from start to finish. Very quick at starting the process and I will be recommending them to my friends and family. Having bad experience from another company who gave me false expectations this company was spot on and professional

Would like to thank Energy Saving Grants who pointed us in the right direction to have both full heating and interior insulation on our rented property.
We had Kerosene for cooking,and coal as our only source of heating.
From start to finish our installation team from Summit Energy where fantastic good bunch of guy's who did a professional job.
Can’t thank Dave, Matt, and James enough for providing us with central heating.
Our application was very easy and worked started within a few weeks

Applied for insulation, cavity wall insulation, solar panels & air source heat pump and cos we live in an area that has no mains gas we were granted these things and we couldn’t be more pleased with the work carried out, what an absolutely fantastic group of workers at the Pennine team so professional throughout, from initial phone consultation right through to when the last member of the team left us when the work was finished, I would recommend this company to anyone, if 10 is the highest to score I would definitely rate them as 11, Thankyou so much to everyone concerned.

All I can say is WOW
From my first point of contact to the finally day I can’t not fault this company at all.
When reading about what I could possible have fitted within my home I was very sceptical thinking NO WAY, I work as an End of life carer but with low hours I also get topped up with UC so I was thinking maybe I wouldn’t qualify. My home was currently being run on LPG so I was always constantly worrying when it would run out.
Once the survey was completed by all I can say was a very knowledgeable gentleman the ball was then rolling, I was kept up to date with every step from who was coming and when to expect them and what would happen, if I need questions answering there was always someone at the end of the phone to answer them.
So what did I have fitted you may ask
Scaffolding erected
Solar panels
Air source heat pump, loft and wall cavity insulation
Plus all new radiators

All the workmen that arrived worked in a professional manner
Did I pay for any of this to be fitted NO
Please if you are thinking/ looking at getting this work done, give the company a call. At the end of the day who doesn’t love a freebie 😃 and maybe you will also qualify to have all of the above work done within your home

The fact it was a free government grant and wouldn't have known it was available had it not been for this company start to Finnish and running very quickly can't thank them enough

The lads that did our work where great nothing was to much trouble for them new boiler and full central heating installed plus loft insulation didn't pay a penny so glad we did the scheme.

Brilliant service from start to finish getting our solar panels installed. We were a bit nervous to begin with as wasn’t sure if the advertised government grant was legitimate but it was and all went very well. Efficient and very quick. Would recommend doing.

What a fantastic job was done on my house outside rendering, solar panels, boiler, radiators, loft insulation, air source pump, I applied through an advert and I was eligible for all for work to be completed with no charge just as long as you are able to qualify take a look at list most people will qualify easy don’t be put off when it says 100% free it really is, the standard of work was done to a really high standard through out highly recommended it is all completely above board there is no catch and there is no payment,

The company and the organisers did a fantastic job. They completed the work extremely well and very efficiently. All the employees were very respectful and considerate, the house looks great now and will enable us to be energy efficient. I would recommend this grant be available to all homes.
